yeah, it really sucks that it's gonna be so long before we get new episodes but damn am i excited for this series. it's even better than Avengers (which really is brilliant and has been the 2nd best Marvel cartoon i've ever seen, not that it really says that much though, lol.) I'm not sure if I'd pace it above the Avengers... yet. But, yeah this was a great episode, especially for a pilot. I'm on the fence, I personally think The Avengers two parter was more fun and entertaining. But YJ was far more depth to it in my mind and I feel like it's going to be more consistent in their story lines and characters. I feel like Avengers could easily make a crappy episode with the tone they've struck right now, while YJ will have only weaker ones! I also like the designs here FAR more, their similar to TSSM!!! (Tho slightly less cartoony). One of my only complaints is that the tone seems a lot like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and I'm not talking vaguely similar, I'm talking pretty close! Also gotta say that I love their slightly older Robin, that's the way he should be done! Not the annoying wisecracker that's really only there for comic relief! (Cough* The Batman *Cough) The closest i've seen to this so far is Batman:TAS one, but his costume was still kinda silly and he occasionally drifted into the comic buddy zone!!

Just saw it on the DVR! (What? I've been really busy these past few days!)
Great episode for a pilot! I am definitely looking forward to this, and yeah, it's sure to go up from here. Wouldn't put it above the Avengers just yet, but it was pretty awesome.
Those Justice League guys went by fast.... I count: Superman Batman Flash Aquaman Green Arrow Black Canary Martian Manhunter Red Tornado Wonder Woman Hawkman Hawkgirl Green Lantern .... Who else was there?
I actually didn't know a lot of the characters. In fact, outside the elder Justice League, I'm only really familiar with Robin and.... Robin. Didn't know any of the Cadmus guys either. (But was that Amanda Waller? I don't think so, but I gotta ask....)
I rate this episode: whelming!

Oh yeah, totally forgot about them. Zatara i think is Zatanna's cousin or uncle? And Herald is in Teen titans wearing a hood and blowing a trimpet that can send people to A parralell universe. And he was being controlled by one of those creatures at Cadmen

Who did Miguel Ferrer play in TSSM? (I know that he was Aquaman in Superman:TAS and he had a role in JL: The New Frontier.) One of the things I really liked was the fact that Blockbuster was in it. He was in JLU and Batman: The Brave and the Bold as well. Zatara was there, Herald, I think I saw Dr. Fate... Herald, as in Herald from Teen Titans? No, he's not in the JL in this show. Neither is Dr. Fate, alas. The JL in this show has 16 members: Superman Batman Wonder Woman Flash Martian Manhunter Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) Green Lantern (John Stewart) Hawkman Hawkwoman/Hawkgirl (I'll guess we'll find out which one she's called) Aquaman Captain Marvel Zatara (father of Zatanna) Green Arrow Black Canary Red Tornado Captain Atom Greg Weisman is fond of Black Canary, Green Arrow, Captain Atom and Red Tornado so no surprise that they're in the JL for this show. I also like the designs here FAR more, their similar to TSSM!!! Say what?! The look of this show is nothing like the look of TSSM... Young Justice has the same art style as Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (same character designer), which is nothing like the art of Sean Galloway (from TSSM).

Does anyone else find it strange that SGK is actually participating in normal discussion?

I do, and yes Heral was in the lab thing. Cadmes, his name was Herald, I never seen him use his powers so I'm not sure if its the same one or not.

No, his name was Guardian. According to wiki, Guardian later called himself Herald, but he's Guardian in this series.
Also, where was Blockbuster in JLU? You're not confusing him with dearest Wade Eiling, are you?

Also, where was Blockbuster in JLU? You're not confusing him with dearest Wade Eiling, are you? Blockbuster was in "Kid Stuff". He appeared early on in the episode, alongside Cheetah, Copperhead and a couple of other villains.
