Today was college night at one of the local area high schools were representives from an insane number of schools all over the country come and try to promote their school the best they can with hundreds of thousands of people (not an exgeration: there are 1700(?) people at my school and at least six other public schools in the county with about the same number-not to mention parents and siblings)coming in and out.
Colleges I maybe attending: I still have no freaking clue. But I like University of Miami, UF (although your chances of getting in their without a 4.0 are slim), UCF, and Stetson (all in state). My dad wants me to check out his old alum, Roger Williams, up in Rhode Island. All I know: private colleges are freaking expensive! Stetson and Miami (yes, Miami's private) are like $40,000 a year. UF is half that, and UCF is even cheaper. I guess I have all of this year and even next year to think it over....
Okay done rambling. You can all stop pretending like you care.

Oh? Are you a senior then?
All I know that BU gave me enough of a scholarship that I could've went for about 15 grand a year.... and I passed it up for NYU, which is about 50 grand (that includes room & board) AFTER deducting my scholarship! Yeah, I'm pretty stupid....

Nope I'm a junior, however I want to get a jump on admissions as soon as I can. NYU that much? I know New York colleges are expensive, but sheesh! Florida basically pays you to stay here. Even the private schools, while no means cheap (I think it's like 40,000 without scholarships) give you a break for being a Floridian.
Edit: I know I still have a while to narrow it down, but like I want to get a jump on this stuff.

Add Room & Board to the 40 000 and you'll be almost as much as NYU. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Alright, so my drama showcase is over and done with...thank god. The first night was fun and we had an awesome crowd. The second night I started to lose my voice (and my scene involved screaming at the top of my lungs so I was freaking out) and the techies kept messing up. Now normally, I love techies. I've BEEN a techie, but these guys were getting on my last nerve. They were cutting music too early, messed up the lights, trying to change stage directions etc. Last night-I used the last of my voice after the show, the crowd was virtually non existant. Some of my friends that graduated where there, which was cool, but it was a bit unnerving when I couldn't really hear anyone in the audience laughing (yea, yea I know "don't look for laughter as approval" (I wanted to punch this freshmen kid who kept saying that).
Still our cast party was epic. My friend's parents own this awesome resturant and they let us have a private party after closing. Everyone was singing (well me and my non voice were singing in spirit) and dancing and we all decided to wear halloween costumes.
Today I wake up to find my voice thing wasn't voice strain but a cough, conjestion, sore throat thing. I'm sick:(
But okay, I'm done complaining HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm mad. My dad had to go out of town, and tomorrow is my mom's biggest day for customers (a note to humanity: if you're going to waste 500 bucks on a desinger purse anyway, why not wait until there isn't a mob of people trying to do the same thing) so I had to toss away my plans and have to babysit my little sister.
That means:
No riding my horse (okay, so one of the owners of our barn was making fun of me on this count, through the use mock horror at the mere thought of me missing a whole barn day, but still!)
Waking up at the same ungodly time she does to make her breakfast (seriously child, you're ten: learn how to use a toaster already, or at least master the fine art of sleeping in when you're given the chance!)
No hanging out with my crush
No hanging out with my friends
No control over the TV (it's her shows, my mom already made that one painfully clear)
Putting up with whatever board game she decides to dig out of the closet (and for the record, monoply is A LOT less fun when it's only two people)
I tried to convinence her it was worth her effort to go out to the barn with me (she used to ride a couple years ago, my trainer was more than willing to give her a "lesson"-read pony ride-and my trainers son and the barn owners' daughther are both her age-but no).
But anyway, happy Thanksgiving everyone, (although there's only like an hour left of it here).

Okay, so here's what you do - warm milk in her cereal. Knock her right out.
