A mysterious artifact called the Tablet of Order and Chaos gets shattered into four pieces, creating problems with reality. A mystic within the Amazing Universe, who is confirmed to not be a current or former Sorcerer Supreme, will tell Spider-Man how he can fix this, by going into four different dimensions, get help from the different Spider-Men in each dimension, and recover the tablet fragment in each. The game will feature appearances from characters such as Kraven the Hunter and a noir version of Hammerhead and Spider-Man.
New Video-Game. You get to play as 4 different versions of Spider-Man. Only two have been announced. Noir and Amazing. Who do you think the other two will be?

Is it just me or does Noir Spidey seem a LOT like Batman?

What are you talking about?
Spider-Man (PS1/N64) = Awesome
Spider-Man Movie Game = No. Hell no.
Spider-Man 2 = Great
Spider-Man 3 = Pretty Good. Not great though. XBox 360 or PS3 versions are way better then the others.
Web of Shadows = Frickin' AWESOME
Ultimate Spider-Man The Game = AWESOME
Spider-Man Maximum Carnage & Seperation Anxiety = AWESOME!
Spider-Man (Atari 2600) = Double Great

I completely agree..I loved the two PS1 spider-man games, a few of the movie ones sucked, Spider-Man 3 was okay, and Web of Shadows was the best one yet, in my opinion...but they all have the same thing...
swing around to find your mission....do mission....repeat....
I don't know I just want something to change it up a bit, a something different between swinging around to find the next mission...if this game does that, then i'm so in (and that may be accomplished with different dimensions and villains *btw hammerhead looks pimp*)
the comment wasn't because i don't love the games, its because i want something different

Shattered Dimensions is just like the first two (PS1 and Spider-Man Movie) games. It doesn't give you an open world.

Well.... It LOOKS good....
I wonder if they'll have a Reign dimension. I suppose that it's technically a possible future of the Amazing one, but I still see it as a possibility. Heck, even Spider-Girl is possible, but I doubt it.... I will say that considering that Noir is from the comics, it isn't likely for them to take an alternate universe like, say, Spectacular or movies. Ultimate's a possibility, though.
I heard that it was going to be Amazing, Noir, 2099, and a new universe created for the game. Obviously, though, that's not accurate seeing as how the official website has not yet revealed the other two....

Not-So-NEW NEWS!
Recent word on the Noir Universe. If any of you have played Splinter Cell: Conviction, it's supposed to be a Spidey version of that gameplay. With tons of sneaking around, mostly because Noir Spidey's not as much of a bullet sponge as Amazing Spidey. Using Noir will require you to be stealthy and take out the bad guys from a long distance, or right above their heads. Meanwhile, Amazing will be designed to be more traditional, with backflips and web-hammers.
More news coming soon.

Cool.
"We looked to the comics for universes which had not yet been brought to life yet in video games." That's probably a "no" to Ultimate. I could be wrong, though....
I still want to see the Reign universe in there. Why? 'Cause playing as old Spider-Man would be awesome!
Gee, Zane, I'm surprised you don't want to see the Zombies universe....

Meh. Doesn't seem like the kinda universe that'd need a game.

Would still be cool though.
I'm not really sure what other universes are out there for them to use though...

Reign, MC2, 2099, Zombies - I think there was a Marvel Apes universe.... For that matter, they could even do Spider-Ham, though I'd be surprised....

I got it! Zombie Universe, (Survival Horror) Mainstream (Spidey Acrobatics) Noir (Stealth Gameplay) And Depowered (I think this speaks for itself) Link to all the different versions of Peter Parker: marvel.wikia.com/Peter_Parker

Well, I suppose it's a possibility (what's the Depowered universe, though? Is that a What If?).
I would be surprised if we saw any What If?s aside from MC2 - though really, even that's unlikely, since Peter Parker is no longer Spider-Man.... Zombies is a fairly good possibility, though it wouldn't be a "survivor" style because, uh, he IS a zombie.... That takes away a large chunk of the possibility....
Here's one, though - House of M. I've never read it, but my friend started explaining it to me once, and I needed to shut him up 'cause he was started to spoil it. It seems logical, though - a Spider-Man who has everything the 616 Spider-Man wants and leads a perfect life. That could be pretty cool.
I still see Reign as a good possibility. It's the old Spider-Man whose just come out of retirement. Throw in a good villain (y'know, we never saw Gobby in that series), and it could work out quite well!

you forget that in Zombies, he's got to survive THE HUMANS. It's like a reverse Left 4 Dead!
Reign probably not, since he'd be too old. Didn't he die at the end anyway?
As for House of M, too much like Amazing, there's no specialties there

spiderman 2099

.... I don't buy it with "surviving the humans."
No, he did not die at the end of Reign. Everyone ELSE died! Sandman gave him the button to blow up the Sinister Six who were scattered around the building, thus destroying it and defeating the Web System or whatever it was called. And I don't see how "too old" is an argument....
I DO see your point on House of M, though. It's really just a thought.
2099's a good possibility, though I don't know much about it.
