Man, Bane seriously got no respect in Batman and Robin. As a Bane fan that hurts me . Oh, and as for the concern about Chris Nolan putting venom in the movie? Well, Bane hasn't used Venom since Knightfall (Well maybe, once or twice in an emergency) since he fought the addiction and side affects without during his first stint in prison. Ever since he mainly uses his own natural muscle. I think this movie will rock and I trust that Christopher Nolan will give us a Bane with brawn, but also BRAINS, something Batman and Robin sorely lacked.

Yeah, definitely. Thing is, Catwoman's great, but she can't really be the main villain 'cause she's in more of a gray area. Hence, just about all of her TV shows appearances co-star another villain. So, Bane's the big bad. And the big bad can't be dumb.

eh I think its what everyone expected and I just think that using somthing thats been used 100's of times in spiderman continuity is just eh. Plus so far the movie is looking sorta lame. Only good actors in that movie I somwhat like are emma stone and martin Sheen.

I don't think it's bad to use a familiar name - I would've done the same thing! (Of course, now if I ever wind up making a Spider-Man movie, which I've basically accepted as inevitable, I can't use that name anymore.... Hm.... I guess "Peter Parker: Spider-Man" would be my next choice.) I'd never heard of any of the actors before the movie, but that doesn't mean they're gonna be bad. I say, let's wait 'til the movie comes out and we actually see them in the roles before determining whether they're right or not. After all, Marc Webb and the casting director would've seen their auditions - something we have no knowledge of.

I loved Dennis Leary on Rescue Me and various other things, he's also a great choice. Gotta love Emma Stone of course, and Sally Field is a good actress. i'm not huge on Marty but i don't hate his acting either. the others i'm unfamiliar with, but i trust Marc Webb

I will admit I am impressed with Andrew Garfield's acting but hes one of those people who I want to see more of before I make my mind up. Not sure about Dennis since I really never watched rescue me, Emma Stone is amazing so no fear though, Sally Floyd im not really familiar with her work, and Martian Sheen is an amazing actor but my personal favorite thing he ever did was Illusive Man in Mass effect 2 plus he's better then another Sheen I can think of.

I was hoping they'd call this one "The Wall Crawler" or The Web Slinger. But now that I'm typing them out the don't seem as cool. I heard someone else suggest The Spectacular Spider-Man or Web of Spider-Man. I personally don't really like The Sensational Spider-Man and I don't see them using Ultimate Spider-Man for fear of alienating hardcore 616 fans. Spider-Man's Tangled Web is one I'd like to see.
