"Meet the new guy."
Norman and Ock step aside, and Eddie Brock steps forward.
"THIS little punk? This is guy you bent over backwards for? He's a kid!" Sandman laughs.
"Don't underestimate him, Sandman - you've been beaten by younger children before."
Sandman grunts.
"I take it Electro's still on his mission?"
"Yeah. He's probably dead."
"Well.... we'll just have to kill harder...." Norman smiles.
"Does that mean.... it's time to kill Trask?" Octavius turns, stunned.
"No, of course not! We're not that far along yet!"
"Wait - what?" Eddie double-takes. Norman ignores him.
"We must first infiltrate Oscorp, ensure that I'm the one to take it back should any 'accidents' befall Mr. Trask.... The best way to do so is fear. He seems to think that the Kingpin's aid keeps him safe from harm. He's about to learn just how wrong he is. Venom, I'm sending you on this one - consider it a test."
"Trask is only good DEAD!" The suit flares up, beginning to cover Eddie's body.
"Watch that temper - we're on the same side, remember? You'll get to kill Trask, but we must follow the plan. When you're with us, you're a far greater force to be reckoned with than when you walked alone. We can help you kill Trask - something you've failed to do on your own...."
Eddie calms down a bit.
"Your mission is to infiltrate Oscorp and kill everyone you see. Only Trask himself may live. Kill to your heart's content. When you see Trask, let him know that the Kingpin won't help him here, then make your leave. Sandman will go with you to watch your back. Ock, meanwhile, will keep watch outside, so that if any so-called 'superheroes' show up, he can take care of them."
"Fine...." Eddie sighs, knowing that he's better off with the Goblin, and walks into the next room to get ready.
Norman walks close to Sandman and whispers to him. "I don't know if we can trust Venom just yet. He has personal reasons for wanting Trask dead - I want you to keep an eye on him, keep him in line. If worse comes to worse, you may kill him. But please.... try to avoid it - the last thing we need is for Trask to think we're a disorganized mess...."
