Never heard of it. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) I'm hoping for NYU, but I need financial aid. (Tisch School of the Arts is the most expensive school in the country. And I'm broke.) Also applied to SVA, Emerson, BU, Hunter, and Purchase.

PCC is pretty well known as far as Christian colleges go. other big Christian colleges are Bob Jones University and Liberty University. those are probably the 3 biggest. I never really wanted to go to a secular school, but if i did, i would probably have gone to Auburn.

alrighty, i think i have enough time to do this, so here is some reviews that i've been meaning to do for awhile. all in all, I'm gonna be reviewing seasons 1-4 of Buffy, Season 1 of Angel, and Season 4 of Heroes. all will be nonspoilery. Buffy, Season 1 This season, although not Buffy's best by any stretch of the imagination, sets up the series very well. because of the relatively small number of episodes(12 in season 1 as compared to 22 eps in the other seasons) there really isn't enough for too many great episodes, although the two-part pilot, the episode "Angel" and the season finale ("Prophecy Girl") are all especially good episode. One perk that i've mentioned many times is the hot girls. It seemed like a requirement to be on the show was that you be hot. works for me. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Overall, the season's villain was intriguing, the humor is abundant and done very well, and the fight scenes are over the top and plain awesome. there are a couple of weak episodes, but a great way to start out a very good show. 8/10. Buffy, Season 2 The first Buffy season with the full 22 episodes, it is along with season 3 one of the best two seasons of the show. the presence of a new bad vampire in town, the villainous Spike, gives the show a kind of fun and carefree tone it needed. In the first season, the bad vampire had a lot of rules and regulations, while Spike just wants to have fun. He and his crazy girlfriend Drusilla are the big bad guys most of the season. Another good plot twist involves Buffy's boyfriend, the vampire with a soul, Angel. won't spoil it, but the episode "Surprise" is one of the best of the season. The two part finale was also a great way to end the season. 9/10 Buffy, Season 3 The other really great season of Buffy, the main villain this time is the strange and mysterious Mayer. the first couple episodes of the season are rather weak, but the entire second half of the season is simply amazing. as Buffy was wont to do, there are many more characters added in this season that play a significant role in the overall plot. The two best of these are Oz, who had been previously introduced but became a main character (played by the hilariously funny Seth Green), and the new Slayer, Faith. This is probably my favorite season overall, the plots were always inventive and the finale, "Graduation Day" was simply amazing. 10/10 Buffy, Season 4 Season 4 of Buffy started the downward trend for the series. there were still some extremely good episodes, the best of which was "Hush" (my personal favorite thus far). However, the move to college kind of threw off the good dynamic the writers had going with the main characters in high school. the overreaching plot in this season focuses on a military group called The Initiative that captures vampires and demons in order to build the perfect Soldier out of them. the problem her is that most of the soldiers are boring and kind of stupid, and you don't really care what happens to them. Still, the 2-parter that wrapped up the Initiative arc was very good, and the season finale, "Restless" is really good as well. If not for "Hush" and "Restless" this season's score would have been much lower. 7/10 Angel, Season 1 Whether because of the change in tone from Buffy, or because it's first season got a full 22 episodes, or because the writer's had previous experience with Angel's character on Buffy, Angel season 1 is extremely good. The premise focuses on Angel, who is a vampire who has a soul, but if he experiences one moment of true happiness, he loses his soul and reverts to the most evil vampire of all time, Angelus. As he's living in L.A., a man named Doyle(who turns out to be half-demon) comes to him and says that The Powers That Be want Angel to be there warrior in L.A. Angel's mission, along with Doyle, Cordelia(previously from Buffy) and later Wesley(also from Buffy) is to help the helpless, and protect those in need as Angel searches for redemption for his past crimes. The big bad guys in Angel are a law firm, Wolfram and Hart, who will remain behind the scenes all 5 seasons of the show. Although there are a couple clunkers, episodes such as "I Will Remember You" and "Hero" are true classics. 9/10. Heroes, Season 4 Just finished season 4 tonight, and let me tell you it is a wild ride. Not nearly as good as season 1, it is a tad bit better imo than season 2 and WAY better than the abomination that was season 3. It does move a little too slow in parts, there are a few plotholes(as Heroes commonly does), and the action is once again a tad sparce but overall there are a lot of positives this season. First, the bad guy, Samuel Sullivan is very cool, and with a unique earthmoving power. He brings powered people to his Carnival under the guise of increasing his family, but is that really what he is up to? Meanwhile, the storylines of Matt Parkman, Syler, the Petrelli's, and Noah Bennet all intertwine and build to a climax that ends very very surprisingly in the season finale. the only really poor subplot is the Claire at college subplot, and thankfully not too much time is spent on that. The best subplot was Hiro's fight against his brain tumor and his quest to right all the wrongs in his life, especially saving his lost love, Charlie. That story ends uniquely, but very satisfyingly. overall, a vast improvement over last season, and seeing the preview of volume 6, I REALLY hope NBC renews the show. 7/10.

Ok, so it's time for a bloggy post again! (btw, if you haven't read my reviews of Buffy, Angel, and Heroes yet, i recommend it! Please? lol) but back to the bloggyness. I've been feeling this for awhile now, and i have told this to a couple people I work with who are really good friends(no, i am not gay, lol). This basically is about my feelings as a result of my breakup. anywhoo, Ok, well, in high school, I tended to have terrible luck with the ladies. I was a complete nerd all the way through 10th grade. I looked stupid, dressed dorky(complete with the highwaters), and i probably didn't have great hygiene. well, in 10th grade i decided i was tired of being made fun of and i changed my image completely. I grew my hair longer so that it looked decent, i switched to contacts, and i consulted with my sister who knows about fashion. As a result of all these things, i gradually grew more normal. However, all the girls still thought of me as Jonathan. (ok, minor point, i actually go by my last name, but i ain't revealing that on here) anyways, all the ones i liked i was firmly in "friends" territory with. i got rejected twice. once really nice(sweet girl, and very hot too. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) ) and once where i asked a girl out to a banquet and she told me no, but i could sit at her table. (uh, no thanks, you just rejected me you jerk). so high school sucked, although i did learn how to talk to girls and be their friend. (more on that later). The thing with being rejected and all though was that i was pretty depressed, and as a result I didn't care about my schoolwork and i became increasingly cynical. The summer before i started college though, I met my ex and everything changed. Life seemed to have a purpose, and it really helped me gain a more positive mood and i did very well on my studies in school. fast foward to this semester. Now that she's broken up with me, my life once again pretty much sucks. I absolutely do not care about almost every single class. the only ones i even try to do well in are my science classes. (teaching science, chemistry, and physics). the others i could care less about and don't really try. I feel bad about this, and about the fact that my super cynical attitude has returned in full force, but I just can't change it. and that sucks, believe me. (yes, there really is a point to this, bear with me) Well, today, as i was at work we basically drive around and waste time for the last hour when there is nothing to do. As we do this we occasionally go inside the school buildings, so i was saying hi to all my friends. I talked to about 5 or 6 girls i know that are all pretty good looking, and i have 2 other friends that are good looking. But i realized, for as many girls that i could pick from the ones that i am friends with that are good looking, i really don't want any of them. The one person i want just broke up with me. and that is very depressing. We still talk, as i've mentioned, and i txt her occasionally but everytime i see her it just absolutely kills me inside. First of all, she's nothing but gorgeous(at least to me, but if any of you who are my facebook friends want to see what she looks like, just look at my past profile pics), and so it kills me that i'm not dating her anymore. But second of all, every time i see her, I just want to run to her, hold her close and tell her how much i love her. I want to listen as she returns my love with hers. And i just can't do it anymore. And it hurts so bad, you will never know. I am tutoring her on Saturday for a class i am taking(yeah, they force me to tutor someone and i figured it would be a good way to keep talking to her), and after we are done i hope to stay and talk to her for awhile. It may be stupid of me, but i pretty much am gonna straight up ask her what it would take to win her back. she may say nothing can, although i hope that isn't the case, and if so i'll go on being depressed. But if i get any kind of positive answer, I'll be elated beyond measure. those of you who are christians, would you mind praying for me please? I'm really going to need it over this semester. ok, that's it. I just needed to kind of express my sorrow in type.

dude, that is pain, i feel for you bro, like I was just like that, almost...I was homeschooled all the way until my sophmore year, (so i've been in school two years now) so, no one, except for church friends, saw my geeky side (which included retainer, glasses and what not.... anyway, I've never had a girlfriend, I've liked some, some liked me(never the ones that I liked of course) and I met this really hot chick but she is for someone else, more bulkier, bigger, and a great basketball player...so, during that time I felt kind of, you could say not confident in my self image, being this skinny tall guy...but then at school during Bible class, the teacher had talked about how God knows what's right for you, and how he made you the way you are for a reason...I'll never forget that class, it was like I was being spoken to by God helping me feel better...the thoughts occasionally come to my head, but it has never gotten real bad...
sorry for turning this into a whole paragraph, I just wanted to let you know that your not alone, and it feels good knowing that I'm not alone on this...yours is more, shall i say, severe? but yeah you got my prayers, through college, and girl, it's tough, hang in there man.
