Episode 1: The Beginning of the End
Chapter 1: The Beginning, pt. 1
Thursday, September 18, 2014
On top of a building, in the middle of New York, a black beam is shot out from Shade’s hands, Heatwave rolls and dodges it, shooting out a white beam. Shade then morphs into a shadow and goes into the ground…Heatwave looks back, seeing that they’re safe. “Get her out of here!” He yells His friend nods, as his friend tries to help a girl out of the cage. Heatwave looks over and a man is sitting in a machine-like chair, knocked out, there are wires hooked to him. Heatwave runs over to him, but Shade comes up with a shadow-like sword and trips him. Heatwave falls to the ground. “You ain’t going to stop it, Heatwave, I will prevail.” Another man over by the chair working on the knocked out man on the chair looks over to him in confusion. Heatwave forms a ball of light, fire surrounds it. “I’m like a miniature sun, Shade, you’re pure darkness, who do you think will prevail?” “The one with more power no doubt.” “You think you have enough power to defeat my team?” “Your team? Your team is gone, Jason, you’re the only one standing in my way!” Heatwave launches the ball of heat at Shade, He ducks down, and sweeps Heatwave’s legs, but he jumps, and when Shade comes back up, He blinds his eyes with light, Shade screams of pain, and falls to his knees, Heatwave runs over to the man in the chair, but is stalled by the girl’s screams “LOOK OUT!!!” She screams All four of the men look up to the skies…a big light is seen, bright as the sun, as big as it too, and then…
Two weeks earlier, Friday, September 5, 2014, 7:15 a.m. ET
“Blake!!!” she screams aloud, “Blake!!!” In his bed with his eyes barely open is 16 year old Blake Begek. He had brown hair, light brown eyes, and tan skin. They lived in a small neighborhood, just outside Atlanta. “Blake!!!!” “What?” Blake mumbles “YOU’RE GOING TO BE LATE!!!” Blake looks at the clock on his nightstand, it reads 7:15. His eyes widen, “Oh, crap!” He tries to untangle the covers wrapped all around him, in an attempt; he falls off his bed, and lands on his face. “Ooowwww” He whines. His door opens, his eyes turn back, not being able to move his face, and standing there is Kristen, his 18 year old sister, she looked just like him, only longer hair, and shorter. “Really, Blake, quit being a lazy butt, and get up!” Blake finally pushes himself up, and throws a shirt on, and some pants. “My alarm didn’t go off, okay?” “I told you to buy one the other day!” “You work at Radio Shack; the least you could do is pick one up for me!” “Ugh, breakfast is ready downstairs; hurry and eat before the bus comes!” Blake hurries downstairs; there are eggs and bacon on a plate on the table. “Sleep late enough?” Blake looks to the right, and standing there is Brandon Kingston, his best friend, and has been since 4th grade. He had a fade, a darker skin complexion then Blake, and had brown eyes. “Hey, Brandon” “Alarm clock didn’t go off again?” “You know it” He sits down and grabs the fork, shoving food in his mouth, within minutes; the bus comes up to his house. “Dude, hurry up, bus is here” Blake shoves the whole piece of bacon in his mouth, and turns around; his nose is all red from when he fell out of his bed. “What happened to your face?” “What?” “It’s all…red!” The bus honks its horn “Never mind, we gotta go!” Blake grabs his backpack, and he and Brandon quickly run to the bus and jump on in
20 minutes later…
Blake stuffs his books into his locker, and throws his backpack on top of them, he turns around, and standing there is Zane Reefs, the scariest kid in the school. He had Black hair, which draped over his right eye, His eyes were dark, could’ve been considered black, they were so dark. He wore a black leather jacket, and a red t-shirt underneath, with his black leather pants. “Hey Rudolph” “Uh, What do you want Zane?” He shoves Blake against the locker “Just wondering what I am getting for lunch today!” “Sorry, bud, no lunch for you today” “What did you say?” His eyes squint, and he gives an angry look. “I mean, I didn’t bring any today” “Shame…you know what that means, right?” Zane cracks his knuckles, and then his neck “Back off, Zane” Zane looks to his left, and Brandon is standing there. “Oh, look, it’s your witto fwend sticking up for you…how cute…I hate cute!” The few people who were around gathered at a safe distance. “Yeah, well we all hate you, so what does that matter” Zane makes a fist “Go ahead” Zane punches Brandon right in the nose; Brandon falls to the ground the impact was so big. Zane kneels down, and picks him up by the collar, he shoves him against the lockers, and a loud noise is heard. “Aw look! You two have matching noses” Zane laughs at himself, and when he turns around, the principal, Mr. Henson, stares right at him. “My office…now!” he said with a stern look. Zane follows him, flipping off Brandon behind his back. “Thanks, Brandon” “No Problem, Blake, least I could do” “I’m just sorry it’s like this every day” “Me too” Blake and Brandon head to biology class, the only class they had together.
Meanwhile, 8:00 PT
Up in Seattle, Washington, a young 16 year old girl is wiping down the bar inside a coffee shop. She had blonde hair, green eyes, and tan skin. Her name was Alice Frock. She was a runaway orphan that has taken care of herself all her life. The manager, Sean Jacobson, comes out of his office and walks up to her. “You know Alice, you really out do yourself.” She doesn’t answer. “I mean, you’re the first employee here every day…” Still, she doesn’t answer. “Alice?” She takes the rags she was using to clean, and throws them inside a bucket of water, she turns around, and is spooked by Sean. “Ah! Mr. Jacobson, don’t scare me like that!” “Allison, are you okay?” “What? Yeah, I am fine!” “Are you sure?” “No, I am a wreck!” “What’s wrong?” “You know my boyfriend, Hank, right?” “The Dutch guy who is in here all the time?” “Yeah, well, his birthday is coming up, and I want to give him the perfect present!” Mr. Jacobson thinks to himself for a minute. “What?” “I actually have something he may like” “Really?” “Yeah, come with me” Alice follows Sean into his office; there are Seattle Seahawks souvenirs all around the office; he had signed jerseys, game balls, bobble-heads, and more. Sean reaches into his bottom drawer, and pulls out a notebook of some kind. He rips out two pieces of something. Alice can’t see it. “Here take these” He hands her two tickets to the football game this Sunday. “Football tickets, I can’t take these.” “Oh, please, it’s the least I can do, you work hard all the time…plus I can’t go; my wife is dragging me to some wedding…you guys like football right?” “Yeah, we love football, huge Seahawks fans.” “They’re playing the Falcons, in Atlanta Sunday!” “Thanks so much, Mr. Jacobson!” “No problem kid!”
Meanwhile…11:15 ET
Sitting down at the lunch table is Blake and Brandon…Brandon across from him…Brandon takes out a box of food. “What is that?” Blake asks. “Chinese” “Chinese food for school lunch” “Yeah, what’s wrong with that?” “Nothing…nothing…” “So, what did you think about biology?” Brandon asks. “About what” “That meteor shower he mentioned, the things he’s studied” “Oh, please, it’s just another shooting star parade…if it even happens!” “What?” “I’ve looked out for shooting stars and comets before, never ever see them.” “Maybe tonight will be different!” “I doubt it!” “Come on, he said they will be shooting by earth rather close this…umm...This…” “Blake?” Suddenly, Brandon notices Zane coming over behind him from the reflection of the window. Blake is facing him as he comes up. “It’s Zane” Blake continues, “Man, I am so sick of this guy, I swear, if he does one more wedgie, I am going to slit his throat…” “He might beat you too it…” “Huh?” “This guy has been arrested 3 times in the past month, he was suspected for two murders, and one theft.” “And he’s still here?” “There was never enough evidence to support it.” “That sucks! This guy is a complete psycho!” “I know”
Meanwhile…
Hank walks inside the coffee shop and waves at Alice, she smiles, as she lays a tray of food on the table, giving the signal of being there in a minute. Hank was full-blooded Dutch. He had blonde, short hair. Brown eyes, and was about 5’8’’. He hated the Netherlands, and came to America at the age of 18. He met Alice just a few months later. Alice runs over, holding a towel in her hand, and jumps onto him, giving him a hug. “I’m glad you’re here…I got something for you!” “Me?” “Yes, hold on!” Alice runs into an office, as Hank stands by the entrance. She quickly runs out, and hands an envelope to Hank. “What’s this?” “Look!” She says with force. “Okay, okay!” He opens the envelope pulling out the two tickets. “Happy Birthday, Hank!” “Alice…I don’t know what to say!” “Say you’ll pack your bags, and we’ll live on the next flight to Georgia, oh, and rental car will be needed!” “Alice…” “Yeah?” “You are amazing.” She smiles.
Meanwhile…
Zane sits down at their table, and he stares at the math teacher, Mrs. Gander sitting down a few tables away…she drinks the a glass of milk that was in front of her, and within a few seconds darts out of the lunch room. Blake and Brandon are somewhat confused, until Zane pulls out tons of packets of salt and sugar. “And you made the teacher puke why?” “Because, I need to have a little fun” Zane picks up the tray of food, and is about to pour it onto Brandon, when Blake throws his cup of chocolate milk on him. Zane turns to face Blake, and stares into his eyes. Zane’s are like pure black. “You really shouldn’t have done that.” Zane jumps over the table, Blake quickly slides off the bench and runs to the other side of the lunch room. Zane picks up random person’s lunches and launches them at Blake, but manages to miss all of them. Brandon then jumps on the back of Zane. Zane tries to shake him off, but he can’t. Soon, a whistle is heard through all the commotion. Everyone looks over to the entrance, and standing there is Mrs. Gander, and the Principal, Mr. Henson. Brandon slides off Zane’s back, which is soaked with Chocolate milk…everyone seems to calm down, as the principal points the three of them to his office.

Chapter 2: The Beginning, pt. 2
Friday, September 5, 2014, 1:00 ET
Inside a Manhattan sports bar, somewhere near Midtown, sits a man, he has a mixed color skin, and is of Spanish decent. He also knew Spanish very well, which helped him in his jobs. His job is a professional criminal. The man’s name is Joshua Sanchez, or as the gang members calls him, chez. He is wearing a leather Jacket that is somewhat dirty, like he has been in a fight. His nose is also misshaped due to a fight he had when he was 16. He started out when he was 15 years old, and he stole a diamond necklace from an armored truck. Ever since then, he’s been wanted by the police for murders, rapes, thefts, and more. “Give me another tall one!” Joshua says. His Spanish accent was well noticeable, and when he spoke Spanish, it was like a perfect blend. The bartender pours him another beer, and Joshua drinks it down. “Good stuff.” He says as he lays a twenty dollar bill on the bar. “Keep the Change.” He walks off, and is about to leave the bar, when a hand comes over his shoulder, and then down to his arms. “You got some nice biceps.” A soft voice is heard. Joshua turns around and sees a beautiful girl, a little shorter than him, she was a darker skin, had rich, black hair. “Name’s Trisha, what’s yours?” “I’m Joshua.” “What a sexy name.” Joshua cracks a smile. “So, what are you doing tonight?” Joshua chuckles to himself. “Whatever you are...” She gives him a flirty smile
Meanwhile…on the other side of Midtown.
Jason looks at his clock. It says 1:14. He moans as he lies in bed. There are tissues scattered across the floor, along with clothes and magazines. He leans up in his bed, wearing no shirt; his hair is all messed up from sleeping on it for four days. But that’s okay, he likes it messy. He coughs before getting out of his bed, wearing sleep pants. He walks over and grabs the remote on the TV. He crawls back into bed, coughing on the way. “Thanks for that report, Jim, and now we have some exciting news for you, today!” Tom, the male reporter, said. “That’s right; you might get a great meteor showing tonight!” Hannah said. “Scientists and Astronomers have been studying this wave of rocks, or meteors, that have mysteriously been floating through space…” “And word is they will be passing by earth late tonight.” “…in other news, wanted for another murder is Josh…” He turns the TV off. He then falls back onto his pillow, as his Mom opens the door. Her name was Betty Banks. “Hey, Sweetie. Are you doing better?” “I wish.” You could hear the stuffiness in his voice. “Aw, well, Jake called; he said he and Dasiou are going to visit. “I’m sick!” “They said they just wanted to see you, I mean, it has been three days since you’ve been in school.” “I’m not complaining.” She smiles, “I’ll bring you some juice.”
Across town…
“Okay and here is your cash, thank you for your withdrawal.” A man says. He is at a counter, inside a bank. The man is wearing a white shirt; he has short, black hair, somewhat of a “clean-cut” man. His Name is Nick Lemark. He has been working at the Midtown bank for 3 years now, hoping to soon be a higher accountant. This is only temporary, as his true love, besides his fiancé, is science. He has especially been studying the meteors said to pass by earth. It was about 3 now; his shift would be ending soon. His soon-to-be wife always comes and picks him up at three. As she walked through those doors, Nick saw a beautiful blonde with long flowing hair; it was her…Grace Tannin. “Hey Babe, are you ready to go? Movie starts in a half an hour and I made us reservations at that new Italian place across the street.” “Sounds great!” he says as he kisses her on the cheek, “Just let me file away these papers, and I’ll be ready to go!”
Meanwhile…3:16 ET
Jason is lying on the couch, watching The Midnight Moon, when a knock is heard on the door. Betty walks over and opens the door, and standing there is two young men. One has fiery red hair that was spiked up in the front, he was of Japanese descent. There was a picture of a fox on his T-Shirt as well, his name was Dasiou Rikou. The other guy had dirty blonde hair, had blue eyes, and glasses. Both were carrying a backpack, this was Jake Harvey. “Hey guys, come on in.” Jake and Dasiou both walk in, “Thanks, Mrs. Banks.” They both said. They walk over to the living room, where Jason was. “Hey bud, how you feeling?” Jake asks. “Like hell.” Jason answers, “I’m better than I was though. “Hey, I brought your homework for today” Jason continues, as he puts his backpack down and starts pulling books out. “Read pages 34-39 in English” he throws the book on the couch, “…and workbook pages 7-9” “Gee, thanks” Jason says, as he throws the books onto the coffee table, “So how’s Rachel doing?” “She really misses you.” Dasiou said “Three days feels like an eternity to her, at least that what she said.” Jake added. “I know, I miss her too…I haven’t been able to text her either…my phone’s broken.” “Aw man, I’m sorry.” Dasiou said. “Well hey, Sorry I have to leave so early, but, I’m getting paid today at Chick-fil-a” Jake said. “Yeah, my dog…got hit by a car” he pauses for a moment, “…so we’re going to bury him.” Dasiou added. “Aw Das, I’m sorry.” “Thanks.” Jake and Dasiou both walk out the door, and say their goodbyes. Betty walks over to Jason, and sits on the arm rest. “You have two great friends Jason.” “Yeah, I remember when I first met them, Jake was a complete nerd who no one would hang out with, we were paired up in science class, and ever since then, and we’ve been best buds. And Dasiou was the new kid a few years ago, and the bullies were, you know, being bullies.” “Was that why you came home that day with a black eye?” she asks. “You remember too?” “Yes, that was the day you finally told me that you were dating Rachel.” “You already knew! I figured there was no reason in telling you.” She smiles and goes back into the kitchen, and then comes back. “I forgot to tell you, your father got two tickets to the Falcons game this weekend.” “I don’t feel like going, favorite team or not, we have TV.” “I know! you want me to mail them to your cousin?” “Go ahead!”
Meanwhile…
Joshua and Trisha walk out of the bedroom; Joshua buttoning up his shirt. His phone goes off, and he starts texting. “What’s with that thing, it kept going off back in there.” She asks. “Oh, it’s nothing…just work.” “Where do you work, exactly?” “I do a lot of traveling.” “Oh, do you have a lot of souvenirs?” “Most of the stuff in that bedroom was souvenirs.” “Really, From where?” Joshua rolls his eyes as his phone goes off again. The name on the screen comes up as Jessica. He continues to text her. “Nice phone.” “Yes it is.” He says. “Your job seems to do you well.” He turns around, “Look if there…” he sees a gun pointed to his head, and Trisha holding a badge in the other hand. “Aw baby, I thought we had something special going.” “Special? You mean what we did in there? That was nothing!” “Yeah, you were pretty boring.” “You showed me your birthmark on your chest…” “I like to go slow” “Shut up, hands behind your back.” He turns around and puts his hands behind his back, ready to be cuffed. She radios her cop friend outside, and tells him that he is being cuffed, just then, Joshua turns around and slaps the gun away; he then kicks her to the corner of the wall, she drops the cuffs. “Now what do you say we have some real fun.” She screams loud...before it is cut off quickly. Joshua grabs a hat, and a coat, and walks over to a window at the end of the apartment hallway…he jumps out the fire escape, and lands inside an alleyway, leaving the opposite side of the cop car.

Chapter 3: The Shower
Friday, September 5, 2014, 11:45 p.m. ET
Blake is watching outside in some lawn chairs. Brandon is staying over as well. The night was clear, not a cloud in the sky; if anything was to fly by earth, they would see it. “Come on Blake, just face it, it’s going to happen! It’s all over the news; all the scientists confirm it will be the biggest meteor shower ever to pass by earth.” “I still don’t believe it, and I’m going to prove it to you!” “Well, they guess that it should be visible by 12:30 Eastern time, so, I’m going to go get us some snacks. “All right, get me a frozen fudge bar.” “I swear your gonna make yourself fat on those things.” Blake gives him a funny look. “Fine, fine! I’ll get them”
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of Atlanta…
Hank and Alice get into a small car, it was a 04 Pontiac Grand Am. It was a rental car. “Alice, I can’t believe you got me these tickets, this is the best present ever!” “I knew you’d like it” “I mean, I’ve never been to a football game, always wanted to go!” Alice smiles, knowing she got him a great gift. They drive off in the direction of Georgia.
Meanwhile, In New York…
Jason is sitting outside, on the patio, a girl sits beside him. She had brown hair, a little shorter than him, and wore a cut-off jean shorts, and a green T-shirt. “I’m really glad you feeling better Jason.” She says. “Me too, it’s a miracle, I woke up from my nap this afternoon, and I’ve never felt stronger…I think the virus is completely gone too!” She smiles, “Well, at least we get to spend the weekend together.” “I am excited, Rachel.” Across the street, behind the bushes, a rustling is heard…Jake and Dasiou are shown, both with binoculars. “Man, this is lame, Jake, you said tonight might be the night he finally makes his move!” “That’s what he told me.” “I don’t get it, how does he get healed so quickly?” “Well, it has been three days, and he seemed fine when we went over!” “I guess…” Dasiou looks back into the binoculars…”Hey! Look!” Jake looks though quickly; he sees Jason gone and Rachel sitting there on the porch. “What?” “There’s a squirrel crawling up their house.” Jake drops the binoculars and leans against the house they were by. “Let me know when something more interesting comes along.”
Joshua sits on a bench in the park, he has a hoodie that covers up is head, he looks around to see no one in sight, and decides to lay down, and try to get some rest.
In a house, Nick is outside in his small backyard, in the middle of Queens, on his huge telescope, watching for meteor sightings. He has his lab coat on and also holds a notepad, writing down notes of anything specific he sees. “Perfect! I can’t wait to see the beauty of the falling stars!” He pulls out a cell phone to call his fiancé, she answers in a small quiet voice, almost has if she had just woken up. “Hello?” “Dear, it’s me! You have to watch the meteor shower outside, I’m serious, and it’s going to pass by earth in any moment. “Okay” she yawns in the middle of her sentence, “I’ll check it out.”
The meteors up in space fly toward Earth’s direction in packs…there are hundreds of small and big rocks just hurdling toward our planet. However, while most of the space rocks fly by…a few of the rocks do something no one expected.
Brandon sits in the lawn chair, drinking a soda, while Blake chows down on a chocolate fudge bar. “Hey fudge boy, let me ask you a question.” Brandon asks. “Shoot.” “If you could have one power in the whole world, like super heroic, what would it be?” Blake thinks about it for a moment… “The power to create as much chocolate fudge that I wanted…” Brandon just chuckles… “What about you?” “Umm…well you see I’d like to…” Suddenly Blake and Brandon both stop talking, and as they look up to the sky, they see the wonderful sight of a meteor shower, passing by earth…they were so bright, so big…and then they noticed one was hurdling right toward them. “Blake!” Blake dives down below, Brandon trips over his chair, and falls to the ground, the chair falls on top of him. Blake watches the meteor from the ground as the huge rock, bounces off the side of the top of the house. Rocks fly off in different directions, near Blake and Brandon. The rock skips across a few houses, before bouncing onto the neighborhood road, and soon coming to a stop. Fire, dirt, and rock is seen all around. People start running out onto the streets, looking around to see the damage. Brandon kicks the chair off of him, and walks over to help Blake up. Blake looks down to one of the meteor rocks, and a blue glow sweeps across it like a shine on chrome. He picks it up, and is hand starts sizzling from pain. “Ouch!” “Don’t be stupid, it’s a flaming rock, what did you expect!” “I can’t believe this!” “I know, for the first time…I wish I wasn’t right”
Meanwhile…
“Anything happening yet?” Jake asks. “No, they’re just talking!” Dasiou replies. “Uhh, Jason is such a chicken…” “Jake…Ja…Jake!” Jake quickly takes his binoculars and looks through the bush. “What? Is he finally doing something?” “Yeah! But that’s not what I am pointing out.” Jake and Dasiou see meteors hurdling toward the ground. They both scream aloud, and stand up. Jason meanwhile was leaning in for the kiss, when he hears them scream; he sees Jake and Dasiou across the street, and then a glow of orange on the houses. “What the heck?” Him and Rachel both walk out onto the neighborhood road, and stare into the flaming rock, and it passes over them and into the ground a few yards away.
Meanwhile…
Hank drives on the highway to Georgia. Alice is watching out the window, about to fall asleep, when she sees the meteors shooting by earth. “Look Hank! Shooting stars” Both look to the right, as one comes from the left of the truck, Hank sees the glow of fire on him, and looks to his left, and sees the meteor. They both scream, as he swerves into another car, both go spinning, and the meteor, slams into the highway, sending a few cars, including Hank and Alice’s, off the road, as rocks and fire create a huge mess. Both are unconscious after the chaos stops.
Later on, Blake and Brandon sit on the grass, in their front yard. “Man, I’m sorry about your house.” “It’s cool…Not really, but, stuff happens.” Blake stands up, and kicks a meteor rock that was on the ground, it shatters, as a blue spark follows the rocks. “That was weird, Blake, did you see that?” “Yeah…the other one I picked up did that as well. Crazy rocks.” A voice comes from behind them, somewhat dark and frightening. “Well, Blake looks like your house is a little, um, broken?” He laughs. “Bummer, did nothing happen to your house?” “Barely, I now have a nice souvenir in my backyard.” “Shame it missed you.” Zane laughs, “Blake, I love the lame fights your bodyguard tries to get into.” “He isn’t my bodyguard!” Blake turns around and yells, “He then walks hard into his house, and slams the front door, after seconds, the door falls to the ground. A loud grunt is heard. Zane laughs his head off. “Well, this has been fun, but I have stuff to do!” “You suck, Zane…You suck so bad!” Zane flips him off as he walks back behind Blake’s and back to his. Brandon then silently follows him.
Meanwhile…
A TV report comes on, barely a signal; it’s lying on some debris. “This is James Bennett, reporting that the meteor shower we expected to see, came closer then we imagined, and has caused some major damage in New York, whether this is happening in other places, is unknown.” The TV finally goes out. Some of the debris begins to move nearby, and Nick comes out from beneath…He looks around, and sees and big crater were it landed near the park. He holds his arm as he runs to the crater.
Already at the crater though, is Joshua, who is inside, looking at all the rocks. All of them have a nice white glow to them. “Wow…” He slowly leans in, his hand gets closer and closer to touching it, he grabs it, and it burns into his hand…he screams in pain, but he can’t let go…His whole body fades to black, as does the area around him, a force of blackness just consumes half the park. Nicholas sees this, and is very curious, his continues to run until he comes up very close to the darkness…he lets his arm go, an sticks his hand up to it. After some thinking, he slowly walks in, pulling out his cell phone for light. Once he is inside, he looks back, and sees nothing but dark…he can’t find where he came in, the light reveals nothing…all he can see his black. “What the hell?”
Meanwhile…
Jason, Rachel, Jake, and Dasiou all gather together… “What are you guys doing here?” he asks. “We wanted to get a good look, at the meteor shower!” Jason gives them both a dirty look. “What?” “Come on; let’s just check out the meteor.” The four of them jump over the neighbor’s fence, and see the fire all around the crater. Jake stays back behind the group, not wanting to get close. Dasiou, Jason, and Rachel want to check it out though. Jason jumps down into the crater, Jason then helps Rachel down, ignoring Dasiou, and they both check it out. They see glowing rocks, green, blue, and purple, when they hear a grunt from behind… “What?” Jason asks. “Nothing…” Dasiou says as he jumps down, and lands on a rock weird and falls; he lands on some of the rocks. Jason and Rachel both run back to help him up, but he wouldn’t, they kneel down and try to help him. There is some dust that was on him, it started glowing a purple. He holds his leg, so it doesn’t move. “Jake!” Jason yells. “We need your help!” Jake runs over to the edge, where he sees the three of them inside the crater. “Das hurt his ankle.” He looks down to Dasiou, “Can you move it.” “No, it hurts man; I think it might be broken…” “Oh boy, Jake, call 911!” He doesn’t get an answer, for seconds, Jason yells again, and Jake finally comes back…”Um, they’re already here…”
Jason and Rachel are outside with Jake; both of them had meteor dust and dirt all over them. “How is he?” Jake asks. “They said he may have fractured his ankle…He should be fine though.” Jason continues, “I’m going to go with him in the ambulance, you guys coming?” Jake says he will, while Rachel denies it saying she’s ready to go home. “You know, it was quite cool down there, those rocks were amazing…I brought you back a souvenir.” He pulls a glowing green rock out of his pocket, a green energy wave swept through his hand quickly, he handed the rock to Jake. “Oh cool! A rock! You don’t see these every day!” Jason rolls his eyes as he gets into the ambulance with Jake.
Meanwhile…
Alice and Hank crawl out beneath their wrecked vehicle, meteor dust scattered all over them, there was so much their bodies were practically glowing against the shimmer of the moon. Hank helps pulls Alice out of the window, and he hugs her, asking if she was alright, as they hug, a wave of white light flows through the outside of their bodies. Alice is forced backwards against the car; Hank falls down to the ground. “Hank, what did you do?” “I…I didn’t do anything.” He says has he wipes the dust off of him. “Oh my goodness” Alice says staring out onto the highway. Hank looks that direction, and there are cars flipped over, crashed into other cars, people lying on the ground, either moaning or dead. Police cars and ambulances soon arrive in the area. One of them stops by Hank and Alice. “Are you two okay?” the officer says has he gets out of his car. “Yeah, were fine, just a little shocked.” “You guys aren’t the only ones.” The officer continues, “Listen, why don’t you come and we’ll get you some help.” After all, a couple of weak losers like you might need it. “Excuse me!?” Hank yells. “What?” the officer says. “Hank, what are you doing?” “What kind of cop are you? You out here to help people, and you sit here and insult us?” “How did you…” What kind of creeps are these two? Hank punches the cop in the face, Alice pulls him back. “Hank, remember your problem.” She says has Hank is breathing deeply. “Listen you bastard, I can arrest you for assaulting an officer.” The officer points his gun toward them both, has Alice is holding onto Hank, pulling him in the opposite direction. “Hey, obviously the cops picked the wrong guy for the job, so instead of shooting us, why don’t you shoot it up your ass!” she yells. Hank and Alice walk away, following the destruction. Soon after, the cop looks at his gun, and back at Alice…after seconds, a shot is heard, following it, is a loud scream.

Chapter 4: The Aftermath, pt. 1
Saturday, September 6, 2014, 8:52 a.m.
“I can’t believe this…” Kristen says as she sits down next to Blake. “I know…It’s one of those things that you just can’t grasp.” “Just like when…” Kristen stops as Blake looks up to her, “When Mom and Dad died… Authorities have pretty much blocked off the area, fire fighters have put out the fire, all the people that were in need of medical attention were taking off to the hospital, and the only people allowed in the area, were those that lived there, or were helping out friends and family members. Blake stares at all the destruction around him. He closes his eyes for a small moment as thoughts go through his head. “Kristen, it’s your turn, you must take care of Blake…” Kristen stands inside a hospital room, an older woman inside a hospital bed, heart rate fading, little Blake standing outside the room, looking in from the window. All of them were crying. “For as long as you live, just remember, I will always be with you…and Blake…Blake…BLAKE” Blake comes out of his thinking state to find Kristen screaming beside him, and yelling. Blake looks down to his hands, and they’re both on fire. No ordinary fire, the fire was a deep dark blue. It faded into a lighter blue as it burned on though. Blake tries to compress the fire, slapping himself, but it just builds the fire up. People from around start to hear the screaming and look out to see what the problem is. Finally, someone comes out with a bucket of water, and throws it on Blake, who was rolling on the ground. He gets up, and looks at his hands…the creases in his hands were a glowing blue, that faded away. “What the heck?” he says, before something comes to his head. Kristen tries to help Blake up, but he quickly runs into the backyard. “Blake!” She yells. Blake looks around the yard, and soon the rock catches his eye, he kneels down beside it, and stares at it, noticing the markings of a blue on it. He picks it up, and stares at it before taking it back inside.
Meanwhile…
Brandon sits inside a ventilation duct…he is breathing hard, trying to be quiet. He looks around him, without moving his head when a black knife pierces through the vent to the left of him, he quickly kicks the vent open, and runs out into an office building, holding his arm, dodging businessmen and secretaries roaming the halls. “Excuse me, pardon me!” he says has he passes each one. He looks back to see if anyone is following him, he looks back in front as he pushes the door open with force, he runs out onto the street in the middle of a city. He looks around him quickly, still breathing hard. He calls for a taxi, and it drives off.
Last Night… Zane sits down inside a huge crater. In front of him is a big gray machine. He walks up to it, and presses his hands up to it. A beam comes from the top of the machine, which looks like a big round ball, and into his brain. Zane falls to his knees. He whispers something. Brandon is hiding behind a bush, watching the whole thing in shock. Not understanding what’s going on, he walks down to get a closer look. He hides behind a big pile of dirt created by the impact. He looks over, and Zane is not seen. “What the heck?” “What do you think you’re doing?” Zane says from behind him. Brandon quickly turns around as his heart jumps, but he sees nothing. “Zane?” “What’s wrong? Can’t find me?” Brandon looks to face the pile of dirt. The light from the patio light illuminates the dirt, and he sees a black shadow…but there is nothing to create that shadow. Brandon backs up slowly, until he backs into a fence. He can see the shadow coming closer to him on the ground. Brandon runs over the shadow, and a hand comes from the ground, and grabs his ankle. Brandon falls to the ground, and lands on his arm awkwardly. Zane phases up from the ground, he is wearing a full black costume along with a black belt, black boots, and black gloves. “Zane, what has happened to you?” “Wouldn’t you like to know?” Zane grabs him by the shirt collar, “If I ever see you snooping around me again, you’ll be buried alive, and I won’t even use a shovel.” He throws Brandon against the pile of rocks and dirt. Brandon leans against it, holding his arm. Zane turns around ready to go back into his house, when a rock hits the back of his head. He turns around. “That wasn’t nice…” “I ain’t scared of you.” A black and dark purple swirl comes from his hands, and two swords form. “Okay, now I am a little scared.” Brandon says has he quickly runs out onto the street. “You can run…” he fades into the ground.
Present
Alice and Hank continue to drive on into Atlanta with a new car they rented. They were approaching a toll booth up ahead. “Glad we got the insurance.” Alice says. “No joke.” The radio turns from Aerosmith to a news report… “A strange thing as come over a cop, last night, after the meteor disaster, as two nearby cops heard him scream; they examined him, and found a bullet hole in his behind.” Alice and Hank both catch attention to this. “You know when I told him to shoot himself in the ass, I didn’t…” Alice says “Expect him to listen to us…” “Yeah…Wait a minute…You read the cops mind…right?” “I don’t know, I think I was, from what I heard, he was a friggin jerk.” “Well, what if I…got powers as well?” “Like what? Controlling people?” “Maybe” “That’s ridiculous.” “And reading minds isn’t?” “True…” They drive up to the toll booth. “Five dollars” “You know, toll booths are so stupid, you should just let us in for free!” Alice stares right at the man. The Man stares back, almost like he was hypnotized “Five dollars” Alice sits back in her chair. “Dang it” Hank hands him the money, and then drives back onto the highway. “Worked like a charm!” he said sarcastically.
Later that night…
A knock is heard on the hotel room door. Kristen answers the door. “Hey Brandon” “Nice place you got here.” “Hey, it was either this, or sleep outside.” “Why can’t you just sleep in the house?” “Like I said, it was either here, or sleep outside.” Brandon chuckles lightly, and walks in as Kristen invites him in. Blake is lying on the bed by the window. “Hey!” “Hey” Blake says weakly. “Somethin’ wrong” “Actually…can I tell you something?” “What?” He looks over to see Kristen in the bathroom with the door closed. “I think those rocks that came from space give us special powers.” Brandon suddenly becomes shocked, as the memory of Zane comes to his head. “What makes you think that? Did you have a run-in with Zane?” “Zane? No.” “Then, what is it?” “Well, I was sitting on my front porch, when I just burst into flames…or at least I think I did.” “There are no burn marks on you.” “That’s what’s odd.” “Can you do it now?” “No, I don’t know how to, and I’ve tried.” “Well, then it’s probably nothing, listen, I got something that will make you feel better.” “What?” “He pulls out two tickets from his back pocket” “Are those sports tickets?” “Football, Falcons play tomorrow. I got the tickets from my cousin. His dad is a sports writer, and he gets extra tickets to certain games, so, he sent them to me!” “Brandon, you know I don’t like sports.” “Come on, it’ll be fun, and I have no one to go with. Please?” “But Brandon…” “It’ll help you get your mind off things, plus, I’ll buy you a foam finger!” Blake sighs before mumbling, “Fine.” “Yes! Thanks Blake! I’ll pick you up here are ten, game starts at one.” “Kay.” Brandon leaves the room, yelling “Bye Kristen” He hears a faint goodbye, as he closes the door, and on the door, you can see a shadow of a man…however, no one is in sight.

Chapter 5: The Aftermath, pt. 2
Saturday, September 6, 2:15 p.m.
“So, how’s Das?” Jake asks as him and Jason sits inside a taxi, riding downtown. “He’s fine; he just sprained it real bad, he’s going to be let out today. Doc said he just needs to avoid running and he’ll be just fine.” “Great! So, how’d it go between you and Rachel?” “You saw that, you peeper!” “I saw nothing but a big light coming down from the sky.” “Whoa! You saw it?” the taxi driver interrupts. “What?” Shawn says “The meteor” he says, “You witnessed it?” “It barely missed my house.” “Have you heard anymore from it?” “No. Why?” “I heard that there have been reports of meteors all over the U.S.” “Looks like the shower was more like a disaster.” “They’re saying that what the scientists told them was they didn’t expect the meteors to pummel to Earth, but just pass by, and even if they did enter the atmosphere, they’d burn up.” “Wow.” “Everyone, including me, is amazed…I can’t believe you were that close.” “Dude, we were in the crater!” “Hey, you know what?” Jake says has he sticks his hand into his jacket pocket. He pulls out a rock. “Here…this is from the meteor.” He hands the rock to the cab driver. “Eh, nothing special, some reports are said to have glowing.” “This one was glowing when he gave it to me!” “Yeah, that’s right, it was, kind of cool, if you ask me.” He hands the rock back. “I think we’re lucky New York only got a few hits. There was one in Central Park, one hit the Hudson River, and then one hit in a small neighborhood. “That would be the one we saw.” Jake said has he takes back the rock.
Meanwhile…
In the middle of Central Park, Nicholas lies on the cement walkway, knocked out. There were quarters on his back from where people threw them on him, thinking he’s a homeless person. He starts to come to conscience, but is majorly freaked out. Dark…dark...CAN’T SEE!! He shivers just from the thoughts of it. He walks back to the crater, slowly. And inside is just a bunch of rocks and dirt, nothing special. “Odd…maybe I’ll just go back home, grab a cup of coffee, and…Oh no, my home!” He quickly runs back to his house which was just near Central Park, to find the roof caved in, from the shockwave of the impact. “Sh1t.” His cell phone goes off; the ring tone is quite dark and gloomy. He tries to look at the caller ID, but his screen is all cracked. Nick was about to lose it as he answers his phone, holding back the anger. “Hello?” “Nicholas!” “Who is this?” “We need you to come into the bank, one of our employees fell sick, and now we have no one to cover your position.” “What?” “Please, Nick, we have no one!” “My house is destroyed because of a meteor shower, and you want me to come in for work?” “It’ll only be ‘till three, until Andrew comes back…please Nick.” “Fine, I’ll be there.” He hangs up; he looks at his clothes, which is just jeans, a blue t-shirt, and a lab coat. They’re all dusty and dirty from sleeping last night. He then walks over to look inside the bedroom, to find all his clothes buried under concrete, brick and rock. “Yeah, my life officially sucks now.”
Meanwhile…
Inside a dark alley way, lying against a trashcan is Joshua; his clothes are wet from the puddles he’s been sitting in; His face was tilted down, almost has if he was sleeping. He takes his hands, and pulls himself up. His hands were a pure black. His head tilts up, his hair falls back behind his head. And his face is a pure black, with his glowing red eyes.
Joshua had a hard time getting up, he used the wall to brace himself, as he walked out onto the street, the sunlight hit him hard, and he covered his face with his arm, soon he got used to it. He walked out onto the sidewalk, hoping to get back into his old apartment. As he walked up to a lady walking his way, she gave him a weird look, and when he showed her his red eyes, she screamed. He is just as shocked as she was. She ran away. He looked into the reflection of a store window, and was shocked at what he saw. His face was a pure black…he put a hood over his head to avoid being seen, but when he looked over at the lady, who was talking to two cops, he decided to walk the other way.
30 minutes later…
After taking the long way back to his house, Joshua finally made it there…he opens his door to find a chalk mark on the wall, from where the girl died, and a bunch of yellow tape scattered across. “Must be in lunch break.” He says Joshua quickly runs into his bedroom and looks to the mirror. His face is completely black, his eyes are white now, but his pupils are red. “What the hell is happening to me?” He starts to remember last night, but he can’t remember anything after touching the rock. “That’s it” he looks at his hand and there are markings on his hand from where it had burned in. the markings glowed a bright white on his black hand. He lies down on the bed, and just takes a deep breath. “Cursed rock, make my skin black…As if I wasn’t already black enough.” His eyes close, his heart rate begins to slow down, and his skin begins to fade into his normal skin color…the markings on his hand turn a black. He lays there for only a few minutes before hearing voices. He quickly perks his head up. His heart rate begins to heighten again. His eyes glow red as two cops walk in, one of them carrying a cup of coffee. Joshua tries to stay as quiet as possible. He gets off of the bed, and kneels down behind the bedroom door, hoping he can get to the bedroom window without being seen. When the cops turn their backs, he makes his move, but his left foot hit the door and it squeaks loud. Both cops turn around; Joshua just stands still, his heart races. His eyes glow a bright red now. “What is happening to him?” The cop yells. His skin turns to a dark black, the white glow steams down his hands followed by a black stream that fills it in, making the lines unnoticeable. Both cops draw their weapons, only to look back up and see nothing but darkness. Both of them point all around, as they hear voices in the background. Two red eyes appear behind them. One of the cops head suddenly turns sideways, a crack his heard as he falls to the ground. The other cop shoots into darkness. He sees two red eyes in front of him, and then his skin shrivels up, his face turns a grey, he struggles for breath, and falls to the ground, his arm still hanging in the air. The darkness fades away, and it is revealed a black body, Joshua, holding the arm of the now dead cop. He lets the arm drop, and climbs out the window and onto the roof via fire escape stairs. His skin begins to turn his normal Mexican color. “Now this, I could get used to!”
About an hour later…
Dasiou arrives at his house, limping on his foot. His parents ask if he wants anything to eat or drink, he just says no, and walks up to his room, and sits at his desk. There is a computer in front of him, a couple of books to his left, and some dead plants inside a glass from his science project. His mouse starts to mess up. “I hate this thing!” He smacks it down on the desk, hoping to get it working and some kind of force travels through his hand, and across the desk. Dasiou falls back. His papers and books went flying, the computer turned off, and the plants were alive, but were slowly fading down. He gets up, and rubs his head, also watching not to put too much pressure on his leg. He watches the plant fall down slowly, and then looks at his hands. He sticks his hand toward the flower, his hand lights up with energy as the flower lifts his head up, in life. He looks around his house, and then outside his window where he sees a stick sticking up from the ground where his dog was buried. If this…Nah! It couldn’t...could it? He quickly runs out of his room, forgetting about the leg as he trips to the ground, and stumbles down the stairs

Chapter 6: The Devil
The Devil went down to Georgia; he was looking for a soul to steal…
Sunday, September 7, 2014, 1:53 p.m.
It was the end of the first quarter; the stands were loud as their home team, the Atlanta Falcons, was leading. The stadium was almost filled, only a few seats away from being sold out. Blake and Brandon were both sitting in the front row; so close, you could almost feel like you were in the action. Brandon was standing up along with the rest of the crowd, while Blake sat down with an empty plate of nachos and a cheese stain on his shirt. “Come on, Blake! Have some fun.” “Brandon, you know I don’t like football.” “Yeah, but at least it will get your mind of off some things.” “You expect me to get my mind of the fact I almost died in a meteor shower, and that I randomly burst into flames yesterday!?” “Well, no…” “Forget this; I am going to get me more nachos.” Brandon kind of feels bad for him, but his attention quickly turns back to the game, has the second quarter starts up.
Meanwhile…
A security guard stands by the entrance at the ticket stands. Making sure no one gets in. He sits back into his seat, watching the small screen up in the corner of the wall, when his eye catches something moving in the corner. He quickly looks over, only seeing his own shadow. He looks back over to the TV when he realizes something…it’s raining outside, with no sun. And there are no lights behind him, or beside him. He looks back to find the shadow gone, and a normal wall.
Meanwhile…
Blake walks up to the line at the same time as a couple. Blake runs into the guy, both fall back, but nothing big. “Sorry about that…go ahead.” Blake says. But maybe next time you losers should watch where your going. The couple is Alice and Hank. Alice thanks him for his generous proposal. But Hank stares at him. “Excuse me, punk?” Hank says as he approaches Blake. “What?” What the heck! “Hey, maybe it was you who ran into me, so watch where you’re going, Kay?!” Hank says forcefully. Alice grabs his arm, trying to control him. “Listen I said you could go ahead, I don’t know what your problem is!?” Man I wish this idiot would calm down. “That’s it!” Hank pushes Blake to the ground; inside, his heart rate begins to rise. “Hank, stop it!” Alice yells. Blake’s hands start to glow a blue, soon, his hands are engulfed by flames.
I guess that you didn’t know it, but I’m a fiddle player too…
Hank steps backwards, keeping Alice behind him, protecting her. People around them begin to run away, or back up as well. “Nice magic trick.” Hank says. Blake looks at his hands, realizing that he actually does have some curse on him. People in the stands begin to notice the commotion, and though the game continues on, less and less people are paying attention to it. Hank slowly walks toward Blake, who is on his knees. “I see you were affected by the meteors as well, huh kid?” Blake looks up, lifts his hand up, “Stay back!” he yells. A blast of fire shoots from his hands, and blasts on the ceiling above the food stands, which is actually ground up above. Hank barely dodged the fire, and walks toward Blake again, as Blake crawls backwards on his hands. “So that’s the way you want to play.” “What no, I just…” Blake says. The fire from his hands melts the ground has he crawls back, the heat spreads across parts of the floor, and when it cools, becomes less stable. Hank steps forward and the ground he was standing on collapses along with a pillar holding up the floor above. Hank and Blake fall down into the locker rooms, followed by a few others who fell from above as well. The collapse grabs everyone’s attention. Brandon gets up from his seat quickly and runs over to the snack area. Smoke and dust is scattered around the area, people begin to leave their seats to check out the commotion. Even the football game is stalled as security guards check it out as well. Hank gets to his feet, Alice looks down from above. Hank grabs Blake by the collar, about ready to punch the daylights out of him, until he feels a burn on his chest. He screams of pain. He drops Blake, who stands up, and steps backwards, trying to calm the pain. Blake’s face looks determined, in his mind, “bring it on, b1tch.”
The boy said my name’s Johnny and it might be a sin, but I’ll take your bet your gonna regret, ‘cause I’m the best there’s ever been.
Hanks reads Blake’s mind and lunges toward Blake. While up above watching is crowds of people, one of them is wearing a dark black shirt, pants, jacket, and even sunglasses. Zane smiled as he watched the fight down below. Brandon pushes his way through the crowd; he stands next to Alice now, as they both look down. Hank now has Blake pinned down to the ground, he punches with his right hand, then his left. He kept striking Blake to the point where he didn’t have the energy to even try to fight back. Brandon couldn’t stand it any longer, He took a cup of soda that a random person was holding, and threw it down on top of Hank. The drink spilled all over him, and distracted him. He looks upward with an angry face. Blake then grabs his collar, and plows his face with his fist, knocking Hank off of him. Blake then gets up and runs out towards the locker room exit. Alice, however, didn’t like Brandon’s little attack, and ran him against the wall. “Wow, I’ve never had a girl come onto me like this before.” Brandon says. Alive grunts at the comment, and throws him toward the hole in the ground. He tries to keep his balance, but Alice pushes him in. as he falls, he grabs onto Alice’s shirt, which pulls her into the locker room as well. “EWW EW EW EW EW” Alice yells, “Sweaty, smelly boy’s locker room!” “No need to make a fuss about it” Brandon says. Alice gets up, and as her heart rate rises, her mind begins to go berserk. She grabs her head and moans in pain. She falls to her knees. Brandon doesn’t know whether to help her or not. He walks over to her, and tries to help her up, but she knocks him away with a powerful punch. He slams into the lockers making a mess along the wall. “Sorry kiddo, but She-Devil is in control now!” She looks up toward the ceiling, cops have surrounded the area now; Zane had left the crowd though. “Attack!” she yelled. Brandon began to come back to earth, when he sees her shouting commands out to the ceiling. At first he thought she was crazy, until cops began to jump down pointing their guns at him. “Freeze!” one cop said. “Oh crap!” He quickly jumped up from the lockers on the floor, and ran out onto the field where Blake and Hank we’re fighting it out.
Johnny rosin up your bow and play your fiddle hard, ‘cause hell's broke loose in Georgia and the (she) devil deals the cards, and if you win you get this shiny fiddle made of gold, but if you lose the devil gets your soul.
Blake and Hank fought on the huge 120 yards of turf. All the players were escorted from the stadium; the police that weren’t under She-Devil’s control were trying to control the crowds of people wanting to watch the fight. “I don’t know what your freakin problem is” Blake dodges a punch, and then throws a fireball, burning the turf. Hank rolls to the right, “But you’re really making me mad!” Brandon ran out onto the field. He had never seen Blake so vicious. He was always quiet and calm, not even a crazy lunatic trying to kill him would send him over the edge. “Blake!” Brandon yells. Blake turns his head to see Brandon running towards him. He loses focus, and Hank’s foot lands right in his face. Blake falls to the ground, Brandon then runs toward Hank. Brandon then realizes he is running in the air, and he can’t stop. Hank had lifted Brandon’s body with his telekinesis. Brandon continued moving until he landed in the stands in the fourth row. He landed in an awkward position on the seats, and began to lose consciousness. Zane then appeared next to him, sitting down in the seat. “Looks like I’m not the only person with powers. Who would’ve thought your best friend would have them too?” Brandon was too weak to respond after the lockers and then the stands. “Time to show these losers how it’s really done” Zane fades back into the stands, nowhere to be found. She-Devil, meanwhile, walks out of the locker room with at least five cops following her.
Then he pulled the bow across the strings, and it made an evil hiss and a band of demons joined in and it sounded something like this… Blake sweeps his legs across Hank’s knocking him to the ground. His hands flame up even more. It was now up to his shoulders, his sleeves we’re burnt off now. He grabs Hank’s back collar, the shirt begins to smolder. He is about to burn him to death until the cops start shooting. Blake puts his arms up as shields. The bullets melt as they hit his arms. “Sweet…my turn!” He kneels down, and folds in his arms. He then sweeps them out and a wave of fire engulfs anyone in it’s path. The cops all fall to the ground, burning to death. She-Devil happened to jump out of the way, and Hank was lucky enough to be on the ground. All was quiet all of a sudden after the cops had finally burnt to death. She-Devil stood strong in front of her dead mind-controlled army. Blake felt weak though. He looked around to the destruction that he had created. The smell of fire and brimstone filled the air. He looked up to the She-Devil, who had never looked so angry. Hank started to get up, and Brandon started coming back to conscience again. Everything seemed peaceful, until hundreds of men stood around the stadium, holding their guns toward them. The lasers from the laser sight pointed right in the center of the field where everyone was. Brandon saw this, and quickly ran up the stairs. Blake, Hank, and She-Devil stuck their hands up. “Come on, Wildfire; send another wave out before we die!” “I can’t…” She-Devil rolled he eyes. A loud speaker phone came from the leader of the SWAT team. “Lie down on the ground, and puts your hands on your head!” They started to go down when the sound of death came to their ears. They looked around, and every single SWAT member in the room was screaming in pain. Brandon decided to head back down. “What the hell?” Blake said. All of them fall to the ground, no one alive. “I don’t understand…” “I do!” Brandon said as he ran out onto the field, “It’s Zane.” He said with disgust in his voice.” “Yes, yes, we all know it was me…” a voice came out from the ground. His body soon phased upward. “What? A guy can’t get rid of a little extra meteor energy?” “Meteor energy?” Blake asked “Please Blake, you’re an A student, don’t tell me you don’t know what meteor energy is.” “I don’t know who this guy is, but I’ve known him for thirty seconds, and all ready, I hate him.” She-Devil said. “Oh! Feisty!” Zane said! She-Devil then concentrated on Zane’s mind, Zane just smiled through the process. Alice’s suddenly to the ground. “Sorry, no room for second rate supers.” Zane said. He faded back through the ground, leaving the four of them inside the dome with parts of the stands torn up and half the field burnt. But Zane left them wondering, what will come next…
Johnny said, Devil just come on back if you ever wanna try again, I done told you once you son of a B1tch, I'm the best there's ever been

Chapter 7: The Cause
Sunday, September 7, 2014, 8 pm
“Why?” I asked God, “Why? Why did this happen to me?” I sat inside a small motel room clinching my arm. The light was flickering on and off. The bed squeaked when I lied on it. The floor squeaked when I stepped on it. And I’m pretty sure there was a mouse squeaking in its small hole earlier. There were clothes thrown on the floor, leftover from what I could gather from the shower. “That’s when that damn dog appeared at my door. And that kid…that kid…he’s just like the others. People like him don’t deserve to live. She did though…so why?” I asked again. My face and clothes were wet from sweat and tears. I wondered what I should do now. I have nowhere to go. That’s when I turned the television on. It was small, standard for the type of motel. The news report told everything that happened to me…It was clear what my job was now. What my new meaning to life is. What I needed to do!”
Earlier that Sunday, around 6 pm
I ran onto the rubble of my house, crying my eyes out. I couldn’t stop. I felt like I was stabbed in the heart over and over. I grabbed a few clothing that was on top, hoping to find something that wasn’t ripped and torn. Anything just dirty can be washed. I grabbed everything else I could find that was useful. When I turned around I tripped on something. I screamed in pain has I crushed my arm. I turn myself around, lying on the ground. This devil dog is standing behind me. It smelt horrible. His skin was peeling off. Blood was dripping off of him, his skeleton could be seen. It was almost like he was brought back from the dead or something. I got up and pushed the dog away with my foot. Even though it was on my property and almost broke my arm, I always loved animals. However, it lunged at my leg, and sunk his teeth in. That’s when the loving feelings went away. I kicked it away, and it lunged at me again. I hit it out of the air with my healthy arm. It flew down to and went through the ground. At first I thought my eyes deceived me. But when that mutt crawled back out like a shadow, I ran for my life. I ran for a few blocks before running into this kid. He had this funny look on his face; he limped up almost like his leg was hurt. “Sorry mister, have you seen this…dead dog anywhere?” he asked almost if he was afraid of how I would respond. “Dead dog?” he nodded yes, “You mean the F****** dead dog that’s been trying to rip my head off!” He was surprised by my reaction, heck, almost I was. My blood pressure was through the roof now. Tears started to run down my eyes again. “I’m sorry sir; I didn’t know the powers would do that to him.” “You…you did that?” “Yes…and I’m sorry…” “Sorry? Are you kidding me? You’re just another one of those crazy people who has powers…and now, you and your kind are ruining my life!” The kid was shocked. He began to back off. “Your just like the others…I bet there’s more too, more that have not been discovered.” Suddenly, my muscles felt stronger, my body felt more invincible. I don’t know what happened, but it was the best feeling I’ve had ever since I met Grace. Suddenly the zombie dog ran up behind me, I saw it out of the corner of my eye. I turned my body around, and with my fist punctured through the dog. It exploded into a dust. Bones fell to the ground along with blood. It was disgusting, but I think I was the first person to successfully kill a dead creature. The kid was terrified though. A force of energy transferred from the bones below back into the child, almost has if it was giving back the life he gave it. I was shocked, this kid had powers, but now I did too. The kid ran off, and I was left by myself with a pile of bones behind me. I stood there for a while; my heart rate began to lower, as did my muscles. I had wondered what all that was about, but that wasn’t top priority on my mind.
Earlier around 3 pm
I stood at the counter. I still had my trashy clothes on. Damn meteor shower. Sometimes I think the only good thing in my life is Grace. Boy do I love her…If it wasn’t for her, I’d think life is lost. She should be here anytime now, after what happened last night between the dark forces, the destruction of my house, and my possessions, it will be nice to see a friendly face. “Hello?” Those words snapped me out of my trance, it was two young kids. One was handing me a check. The other was just waiting behind him. I heard them mention something about the meteor. I would’ve asked, but I really don’t know how much these children would know. I cashed his check quickly, just wanting to get the day over with. I knew Grace would walk through those doors any minute. The boys were about to leave the bank when an explosion was triggered at the door. Glass flew everywhere; the two kids flew backwards and hit the floor. One kid hit his head, and looked like he was unconscious. “Jason!” The one kid yelled, that kind of told me his name. But that wasn’t my main concern. When I saw who walked through those doors, I thought I was back in a dream world. He was all black, he looked strong and powerful, and his face was covered by a shadow of darkness. He had a red stripe that went down his chest and arms. He also had red boots and gloves to go with it. Never thought a crook could color coordinate…or at least care. “Hello to all!” he exclaimed, “I am the Dark One! And if any of your try to stop me, you’re in for a world of pain!” The other kid dragged Jason behind the desk where I was; I knelt down beside him and checked his pulse, which was normal. “It’s okay, kid, he’s fine, stay back here.” “Thanks, Mister, I’m Jake.” “I’m Nicholas, but you can call me…” Suddenly the vault was blasted open. Then it hit me, why am I introducing myself instead of helping? I prop my head over the desk to see Dark One inside the vault where he was sucking the money inside some dark vortex. At least I think, I couldn’t really see from my position. Jake stood up, he saw the exit. I knew he was going to make a run for it, I tried to stop him, but before I could, he ran. Started yelling “COPS!” half the way there…least he could’ve done is waited until he got to the door. Dark one easily notices and a beam shoots out of his hands and streams onto Jake. Jake is still; unable to move. “It looks like there’s more to me than meets the eye.” From then on the only thing I could envision him as was Optimus Prime… He looked just has shocked as everyone else in the bank, he almost stopped for a few seconds, examining Jake. He pulled his hand back, releasing the beam. “What? Is that all it is? A stop clock?” It didn’t do apparently what it wanted him to do; I didn’t really want to know either. Jake got up on his knees though; he looked at his hands, and stuck them out. Dark One mocked him, saying he wants to be like him…but when I saw that beam of pure energy release from his palms. I was officially in dream land. “Whoa…” he said. “The only thing I could even think of was where all these people with powers are coming from...I didn’t even worry about Jason to my right or the civilians. I was completely lost in a trance. Dark One got up from the fall. Jake ran over to him fast, like twice as quickly as Usain Bolt! He knocked him in the chest; Dark One grabbed his face, and threw him into the window. He broke through, and landed on a few people Dark One heard the cop sirens and ran back inside the vault. “Nick?” I heard coming from the doorway. It was Grace. For a split-second I was happy to see her, and then, that went away when I realized there was a crazy killer in the bank. “Nick, what happened, what’s going on?” I ran out to her. Jake ran back into the bank like a flash, knocked me down. Grace was standing by the doorway, running over to me. Dark One saw in the corner of his eye. “I said no one escapes!” He shot his beam, Grace stood still in her position, while Dark One continued to load the money… Jake shot a beam at Him, forcing him to lose his grip on Grace. She fell to the ground, Dark One ran out to Jake, and punched him right in the face. Jake tried to fight back with his laser beam-like attacks, but with no luck hitting him. Dark One grabbed his shirt collar and threw him against the vault wall. He leaned against it. No kid could usually sustain a hit like that. He not only had powers, but he was stronger too. He continued shooting beams at Dark One, missing all his shots…however, they did weaken the bank’s wall support…and the roof was collapsing…
Present…
“I know now what I must do…” I slipped on a coat, and took these black goggle-like glasses to cover my face… “I must destroy the other supers…” he continued “Beware evil, for I am the Pickster!”

Episode 2: Rise of the Supers
Chapter 1: The Reactions
Monday, September 8, 2014, 11:45 a.m.
Jake sits down by Jason and Dasiou at the lunch table. All is quiet between the three. “You want to talk about it?” Jason asks. Jake sits still, not touching his pizza he got from the lunch line. “I could’ve…I could’ve done something, Jason. I have these powers, and I didn’t do anything with them, except cause destruction...I mean…it’s my fault she’s…gone!” “At least you tried, there was nothing you could’ve done, and he was too powerful for you!” Jake takes his plate of food and walks away. He throws his plate of pizza in the trash and walks out the lunchroom doors. Jason looks back at Dasiou. “Poor guy…” “I know, what else sucks is that they got it on television.” “What?” “Yeah, some guy, Harold Kinsey, I think, got a whole video of the fight, and showed it to channel 9 news…” “So?” “They didn’t cover up his face.” “Aren’t they supposed to unless Jake gives them permission?” “That’s what I thought” “Hey, where were you during all this?” “Me? Oh...I…I…was at the store down the street…didn’t even know what was going on!” “I wonder why Jake is the only one who got powers from the rocks.” Dasiou lies. “I don’t know, he didn’t even go into the meteor crater.” A girl then walks behind Jason and covers his eyes with his hands. “Guess who!” Jason thinks for a minute, “Barbara Walters, No! Hillary Clint…No, too easy…” “You are so full of crap!” Rachel jokes. “Oh, really?” he says as she sits down by him. “Completely! Your crap level, on a scale of 1-10 is like a 9 if not higher.” “Love you too, Rachel!” he jokes back. She pushes him in the arm, barely nudging him. “So what are you doing after school?” she asks. “Probably Jake’s…he’s going through a tough time, I was hoping to help him through it.” “Mind if I come with?” “Please do, you’re probably better at this then I am.”
Meanwhile, down in Georgia… Alice sits down by Blake. Hank leans up against the doorway while Brandon stands inside the room. They’re in a small one bedroom house, not a lot of room for four people. “You’re welcome here as long as you like, Blake.” Alice says as she puts her arm on his shoulder. “I can’t believe it, Alice…I…I…I lost everything…” “I’m sorry Blake, truly I am.” “I am haunted by all these memories Alice…and it’s all my fault.” He says as a tear falls down his face. “Good god!” Hank yells. “Hank!” Alice responds. “I can read his mind…he’s being a big baby!” “Read this you f***ing B1tch…” Blake thinks. Hank flips him off before leaving the room. “I hate people…” Blake adds. “Don’t worry about him, Blake, he’s a jerk.” “Just go…just go away…” he says. Alice gets up from the floor and walks out of the room. “Go away, Brandon…” he says in a higher voice “I know you’re going through a tough time Blake, but after what you did, I can’t bear to talk to you.” “Screw you…” Blake replies. “I’m going to my cousin’s up in New…” Blake picks up the lamp on the floor beside him, and throws it at Brandon, who closes the door quickly. The lamp shatters on impact. “I said SCREW YOU!” Tears roll down Blake’s face like a waterfall.
Last Night after the fight with Zane…
Blake enters the hotel room, throws his jacket against the wall. Kristen is sitting down on the bed with her arms and legs crossed. “What?” Blake yells. “You know what!” Kristen yells back. “You saw the TV huh?” “I can’t believe you, attacking those people…Blake; you’ve got an anger problem.” “An anger problem!?” he yells, “He’s the one who freakin attacked me first! And you accuse me!?” “Yes…You know better than to go off like that…and since when do you throw fireballs out of your hands? I can’t believe you made it here alive; do you know how many people probably hate you? Know you? Think you’re a threat?” “You’re not my mother, Kristen!” Kristen stutters for a moment… “No matter what…take care of Blake…” “Yes mother…yes…” A tear rolls down her face as her mother’s heart stops beating… Tears start to roll down her face, “Your right Blake, I’m not…But I know what’s right for you…I made mom a promise…and I’m going to keep that…so you’re grounded!” “Excuse me?” “Don’t talk to me like that…I’m going to try and be the mature one…why don’t you try?” Blake starts grunting, his hands begin to glow a red…”You’re not my mother!” Fire starts to pour out of his hands…a huge flame engulfs and burns the entire building…Brandon stands outside, in a surprise, the building is smothered by fire… “Blake…” he whispers to himself…
Present…
“I’m sorry, sis…I’m sorry…” he curls up in the corner of the room and cries…
Meanwhile…
Zane stands inside the meteor ditch, now covered by tents and blankets and whatever else he could find to cover it up. He has metal poles to hold it all up, creating a small basement in the ground of sorts. “At long last, it is Shade! Our leader…” “You boys have been waiting a while…why don’t we just engage now?” Zane (Shade) answers “Because there are others that have been affected, and have gained powers, much like yours, we must be cautious.” “Please…nothing on this earth can touch me!” “But that is not true for us! The time will come soon!” “I see…I will clear the way…give me some names…” “We don’t have names; we only track the energy in the rocks.” “Location?” “In North Decatur, the small house off of 29, there you will find the location of the strongest meteor energy” “29? Highway 29?” “Yes” “I’ll make this quick”
Back in N.Y…
“Dude, I told you, I’m over it…sort of.” Jake says. “You look like you’re doing a lot better.” Jason replies. “Thanks.” He smiles. He, Rachel, and Jason all sit inside the living room of the Harvey house. His parents are out of town and have no clue of the incident. “Have you looked at the news lately?” Jake asks. “I’m not really into watching the video again.” “No, No, they have some report on of the meteor shower, turns out, it’s happening all over the country.” “What?” Jason asks, somewhat worried. “Yeah, check this out!” Jake turns on the TV to CNN. “It has been reported that the meteor shower, that was predicted to pass by earth and instead hit us directly, happened all over the United States of America. Many people think this is an act of God! Others think that the world’s destruction has just been avoided, and some think this is a sign for the end! President Obama has said there is no need to take extreme measures, he said, and I quote, ‘This is just a freak accident, we will take any money available and clean up the mess around this U.S. and soon things will return to normal’ All I can say is, I hope he’s right. This has been Katie Couric reporting for CNN…” Jake turns the TV off. “Katie Couric?” “I know she’s everywhere, right? Anyway…did you not hear that? This isn’t just us Jason, it’s happening all over the country.” “And if that’s true then that means there are going to be people with powers all over the country...” “Exactly, and where there are power people, there are bad people” “And what are we going to do about it?” “I’ll tell you what I’m going to do about it!” Jake grabs a shopping bag and pulls out a one-piece red costume, with some yellow designs on it. “You wanna get ready for Halloween?” “Nope, I’m going to become…” “Don’t say it” Rachel interrupts. “A super hero?” “Oh my goodness, he said it!” “Jake, you’re not a super hero, you don’t know how to control those powers you got from the meteor, and who knows if they last a long time or not!” “Can’t hurt to try though…” Jason sighs. “Look, I feel really bad about what happened at the bank. I think this is something that…something that I can kind of make up for it…” “Jake, you made a mistake, you know what? Scratch that, you tried the best you could! Trying to do something to make up something else isn’t going to cover it up. “It’ll clear up my conscience.” He says as he walks back upstairs to his room. “Jake!” Jason yells; he gets no response. “Oh man.” “Don’t worry, Jase, He just has to handle it in his own way.” Rachel says has he grabs his arm “I know, I know…come on let’s get out of here.”
Meanwhile…
Nicholas Lemark stands at the edge of a rooftop. The wind is blowing his short hair. Few people on the streets see him and gather around, thinking he’s going to jump. “Soon, Grace, soon…”
Yesterday…
Small pieces of debris started to fall from the roof, I rolled over, Grace stood and tried to find some cover, I knew I had to get her out of here, I quickly stand up and turn around…that’s when I find a huge piece of debris on top of her. I run over to her. She had blood dripping from her mouth, and numerous cuts on her face. I looked at her body from what I could see. Her leg was twisted in an awkward position. It crushed her…she was gone. I turn around with anger. Dark One and Jake were still fighting, each one getting an even amount of hits. The police finally barge in, about time they got here. Dark One quickly notices this, and after that, all I remember is darkness. I don’t see a thing. It goes away after a while, but he was gone, along with the money. Jake ran over to Jason who was waking up. I went to my Grace…he causes the damage, yet he doesn’t lose anything…Me though, an innocent bystander you could say…I lose…I lose my house, I lose my job, and now, I lose the one thing I cared about most in my life.
Present…
“Soon, I will avenge you Grace. You didn’t deserve to die” He leans his head down “I love you”

Chapter 2: The Tantrum
Monday Night, September 8, 2014
Alice sits down with Hank in the family room of the small house. Blake sits down on his bed, still going over his thoughts. “Blake? We’re watching the game now, you gonna watch it with us.” “I hate football” “We made popcorn!” “I’m just going to bed.” Alice sighs has she takes a bite of popcorn from her hands. “I feel so bad for the kid” “Well, stop it!” “What’s your problem, Hank? Ever since he’s been here you’ve been mocking him, putting him down. The kid just lost his family!” “I don’t like him. You saw what he did at the field, to the hotel. He is dangerous!” “So that’s it.” “What?” “You’re scared of him?” “What? No!” “Yes you are!” “No I am not, I can handle him anytime, I handled him back at the stadium, I can handle him anytime!” “Whatever, you are so afraid!” Hank shoves it off and looks back to the television. Blake meanwhile, trying to sleep, starts to sweat as he mumbles to himself while tossing and turning.
----Meanwhile----
“I can’t believe you are wearing that Jake!” “No, No, I already told you, the Crimson Battery” “What kind of name is that?” “The kind of name that will kick your ass if you diss it one more time!” Jason laughs to himself as he holds Jake’s meteor rock in his hand. “You know, I bet if I could get this up to D.C., those scientists could study it, and maybe get something out of it, figure out how it works and all.” “Dude, the juice is all gone, and it’s in me now!” He says has he flashes off his costume. “You know what, I think I will, my dad has to go down there for a meeting, maybe he’ll let me go with him, and I’ll be back tomorrow.” “What about school?” “Dude, have you seen my grades? I’ll just call in sick!” Jake shakes his head in disbelief, “Fine then, I’ll see you tomorrow!” “Yeah, and really, Crimson Battery” “Hey, I told you, don’t be dissin’” Jason laughs again as he leaves Jake’s house with the rock.
----Meanwhile----
“I am sorry about your wife…” Pickster turns around, revealing his costume which is just a light blue shirt with dark blue jeans. He wears a lab coat turned into a trench-like coat. There is a small P on the left of what used to be a pocket. He faces the Dark One. “I see you’re serious about this whole super-villain thing, eh. Well, I am too! And assistance would be greatly appreciated.” Dark One says. “You’re one of them…with the powers…you’re the one who killed my wife!” “I do believe it was the kid’s energy bombs.” “If you had never…You have haunted me since the day of that shower…” “Hey, you’re the one who came into my crater.” “You must die. You don’t deserve to live.” “You’re the one that’s trying to kill people; you’re the bad guy here, Nick.” “It’s Pickster now…” “Pickster…now what kind of name…” Pickster lunges at the Dark One. “Do you really think you can beat me? Have you not seen what I can do!?” Darkness surrounds Pickster; a voice is heard from every corner. “You can help me, I can help you.” “I would never HELP YOU!” “I know what you want, what you can do. Your strength is great; your intelligence is through the roof. I have a plan that will benefit us both, give us great power!” “I told you, I’m not interested!” Pickster swings a punch, and the darkness disappears as Dark One lies on the ground. “Show me your face, coward.” Pickster threatens. “Please, one lucky hit? I told you were intelligent.” “You can reject my offer and die, or take it and gain the strength and power we both deserve.” “All you want is to use me…it isn’t happening.” “So be it.” Dark One disappears in a phase of darkness. Pickster is all alone now on a rooftop of a building. --- ----Later on that night----
Jason lies down, covered up in a blanket and his head is resting on a coat. “I can’t believe this is what I have to go through just to get a rock examined…I mean, all dad had to let me do was go with him to D.C. for the night, but no, I have school tomorrow. But my friend has had plenty of side-effects from this and I want to make sure he’s all right, so even if I have to lay in the back of a 90s pick-up truck under some old dirty blankets…*sniff sniff…Oh god, what is that!?”
----The next morning----
Jason is asleep in the bed of the truck, it’s about seven in the morning, when the truck hits a bump in the road, and his head jostles up, and smacks a tool box. He cringes in pain as he holds his head; he sits up and realizes his dad could easily see him in the review mirror, so he quickly dives back down just before the father looks into the mirror. Jason pokes his head up to check the surroundings, he sees a sign that says, “Welcome to D.C.” “Yes, I’m here!” He grabs the rock on the floor that was rolling around and it starts glowing again. “Whoa, it hasn’t done that since I first found it!” Suddenly the breaks are quickly hit, the tires squeal, and Jason goes flying toward the front of the bed, along with everything else in the truck. He looks up to see a red stoplight, and his dad staring at him from the front seat. Jason opens the back window… “Um, eyes on the road?” “Get in here!” Jason hops the bed, and climbs into the back seat, not wanting to sit next to an angry father. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” “I told you, I wanted to come to D.C. to have the top scientists study this glowing rock!” He pulls it out of his pocket. “It ain’t glowing Jase.” “Well, it was just a minute ago.” “I don’t care Jason, you deliberately diss…” A car horn suddenly interrupts his talk. He looks ahead to see the green light, and he moves forward “You disobeyed me, you skipped school, and you probably worried your mother!” “But this could be important! Like…life or death!” “Jason…IT’S A ROCK!” “A rock from space…” Jason adds on. “Well, I have a meeting in an hour, I’m stopping at your Uncle’s and you’re staying there until I get back!” “Wait…you mean…Uncle Jerry?” “Yes…Uncle Jerry.” “But Dad!” “No Buts Jason…” “But dad…he’s…” Later… A door opens up and standing there is Uncle Jerry, and in a higher pitched voice, he says, “Hey, Step-Bro!” “Hi, Jerry…listen, I know this may be a problem, but Jason has snuck a ride and I need him to stay here for about a few hours…that good?” “No problem! I haven’t seen Lil’ Jason in months!” “But Dad…” Jason continues to claim. “Sorry Jason, I’ll pick you up around eleven and then we’ll go home and have a nice long talk about this!” “But dad!” He closes the door, and Jason turns around. “He’s gay…” he says softly to himself. “So, little buddy, how you doing?” “Uhh, long trip, you gotta bathroom?” “Right down the hall!” Jason runs to the bathroom, and closes the door, locking it. It’s a small bathroom, there’s a toilet, a sink, and a small window. “Why? Dad…why?”
----Meanwhile----
Really…is this what I am going to have to deal while being some kind of super hero? I mean, I expected crooks with guns… Jake dodges a huge rock flying by him. But a giant mutated person hurling rocks at me? Jake stands in his red and yellow tights…he wears yellow boots and gloves, along with a yellow mask to cover his face. Standing in front of him is a hulk-like creature, his face is messed up from the mutation, he has a broken chain around his neck, and all he is wearing is some ripped orange pants. Veins were popping out of his arms and legs. He ripped out parts of the road and chucked them at Jake, who dodged all his attacks with ease. So, you’re probably wondering why I am fighting a giant mutated creep at seven in the morning…well, I was on my way to school, all alone because Jason snuck his way into D.C. when suddenly the mental institution nearby starts screaming…at least the people inside. So I figure, someone’s loose, might as well help out. So I slip on the costume in an alley, when this huge creep with a temper tantrum busts through the wall. I don’t know why he’s so big, but I figure he could, you know, kill someone…and now…I’m stuck fighting someone I can’t even hurt. Do you know why? Because My FREAKIN lightning bolts have decided not to work!!! Maybe Jason was right…it was just temporary…then again… A fist comes to Jake’s face and he flies through the institution wall, and onto the ground. Tantrum runs in and smashes through the wall again. “I really got to stop narrating to myself…”
----Meanwhile---
Brandon stands at the airport…he continues to call his phone, finally, he just leaves a message. “Hey Cuz, thanks for the tickets, didn’t turn out has I planned though, but hey, I’m heading up to New York, I was hoping we could talk about some stuff, I’ll talk to you later.” Brandon heads on the plane later after. ----Meanwhile---
Zane stands outside a house, he peeks inside. “Well, if it happens to be my favorite people…” He lets out an evil laugh.

Chapter 3: The Change
Tuesday Morning, September 9, 2014
(D.C.) Jason opens the window in the bathroom and climbs out. A piece of toilet paper is stuck to his shoe, when he is fully outside, he sneaks along the edge of the house. A car pulls up from the driveway and Jason quickly gets back behind the house. He peeks around the corner. A man gets out of the car, and locks it using his automatic lock. He walks up to the door and rings the bell. Jerry hugs the man and lets him in. He closes the door. Jason stands in shock for a moment and shivers to himself before walking toward the city.
----Meanwhile----
(Georgia) Blake sits down at the coffee table with Alice and Hank. Everyone is speechless. “So how’d you sleep Blake?” Alice asks. Blake lifts his head, taking a drink of his coffee. His eyes are all baggy, having a hard time keeping them open. “Blake! Oh my god, are you okay?” Alice quickly gets up and walks to him, Hank rolls his eyes. “He’s coming for me…” Blake mumbles, too tired to answer. “Who is…who is coming for you?” Blake just tilted his head, and fell asleep. “Kid’s crazy!” Hank says. Alice gives him a look and then back at Blake. “We’ll let him sleep. I guess.” “You know we can’t keep him forever…” Hank says. “Kid lost his sister, best friend, we’re all he’s got, and I want to help him.” “Why?” “What?” “Why do you want to help him so bad?” “Because he’s in trouble…” “Are you sure? Are you sure you’re not into this kid?” “Are you crazy?” “You know, I thought we came here for a date, and it hasn’t felt like one since this creep came in.” Alice smacks him. “He’s not a creep.” She walks away and closes her bedroom door. Hank cusses her out while outside the window, Zane Is standing there, and is laughing. “This is priceless…” “I guess I have a job to do…but this is way better than any soap opera!” Zane looks around… “Glad no one heard that…Now…” Zane fades into the ground; his shadow can be seen in the light as he goes into the house from the ground.
----Meanwhile----
(N.Y.) Jake is on the ground, dust and debris all over his costume. He gets up slowly while Tantrum stands in front of his huge hole in the wall. Once he is all the way on his feet, he looks around, and finds himself in a crater…inside the mental institution. “Oh my Goooaaah!” He quickly dodges a flying cop in the air. “Okay, throwing people is not very nice, especially at other people…” Tantrum roars at him, and begins to rush… “Come on, come on…” Jake clinches his fists and concentrates. As soon as Tantrum comes within a step of him, a bolt of lightning charges into Tantrum, knocking him down. “Yeah! I’m like a battery! A Crimson Battery!” Jake thinks for a second…”Wow, that’s cheesy” Tantrum gets up from the blast, and swings his fist at him; Crimson Battery uses his speed to quickly move his body like he was in the Matrix. “Can’t touch this boy” Jake charges up his fist and punches Tantrum in the gut, a shockwave knocks Tantrum back a little ways, but Jake flies to the ground on his back. “I don’t understand, it just worked!” Tantrum rushes at him again, really fast, Jake rolls out of the way as fast as he can and gets up to his feet. He ducks down to avoid the punch and grabs onto Tantrums arm. Tantrum continues to run through the walls. He loses a grip on the arm, and then grabs the pants at his waist. Until they finally rip off and Crimson Battery falls face first into the ground. Jake slowly gets up and finds he’s holding onto pants. Looking ahead, he sees a completely clothe less monster in front of him. Jake rubs the back of his head. “I guess the meteor doesn’t increase the size of EVERYTHING on your body…” he chuckles to himself. Tantrum’s eyes turn red, as Jake’s widen. He looks around seeing innocent people on the floor injured and Tantrum, who is getting bigger, about ready to rush toward him. “I won’t make that mistake again…”
----Meanwhile----
Brandon sits on the plane a few hours away from landing in New York…sitting to his left is a man, whose face he has never seen because he’s been sleeping the whole trip. On his right is a lady who is wearing a hat big enough to cover her face. Brandon didn’t pay any attention to either of these two, instead he was watching YouTube videos of people who have videotaped their powers. “This is amazing…All over the world these people have powers.” He says low, but loud enough where the people next to him could hear. The man who was sleeping suddenly awakens. He stretches his arm across Brandon, who gives him a “what are you doing?” look. The man looks at him. He was very pale, paler than a normal pale person is. Is eyes we’re gloomy, kind of scary looking, and his ears were oddly shaped. Brandon almost freaked looking at the man, but he maintained his composure. “Hi, sir…” He mumbles, leaning toward the lady…when she turns her face, it’s exactly the same as the other guy. He freaks. “We’ll you’re a cutie isn’t he Joe?” The man to his left answers, “Quite so, Betty” Brandon was scared out of his mind, when the flight attendant passes by, he yells for her, thinking, “finally a normal looking person.” “Excuse me miss, I think I am crowding these two…mind if I take that seat up there by him?” “Of course not, go ahead.” “He closes his laptop and slides across the row. He walks up to an old guy that was looking out the window. He sits down by him. “Hi, Mister, what do think of those two creeps over there?” The old man’s face turns around, and his face is pale, his eyes are almost a glowing red, his teeth are somewhat oddly shaped, but there were fangs there. “Oh my god” He falls out of his seat, the old man moans, and leans his head down, drifting to a sleep. The flight attendant passes by again, “You okay sir?” “I’ve had better days.” He says has he picks up his laptop and sits in the seat nearest the walkway, glancing at the two who were staring at him. “What the hell?” he thinks. ----Meanwhile, a little later on---- Jason hands the meteor rock, and has explained all the details to Scientist Harry Walters. “This is great, kid, It would’ve taken weeks to gather one of these rocks with all the quarantines and all.” “Yeah, well, a few people I know have had these, well, side-effects when near these rocks, since it came after the shower, I figured this would come in handy…and did you say quarantines?” “It will, and yes…President Obama says he wants the meteor spots locked off from pedestrians, thinks it’s a danger, I think he’s just paranoid he won’t make any mistakes” “Well, please let me know what you find…maybe if it’s contagious and what not.” “Of course, do you have these, what you call side-effects?” “No, it has not had an effect on me, at least from what I know.” “All right, we’ll I and a few of my best scientists will study this, and call you when we get results!” “Thank you so much!” Jason leaves the D.C. Science Center, and heads back to His Uncle’s, checking the time to hopefully get back before his father does. ----Back in GA---- “Why are you doing this?” Blake yells Zane, also known as Shade, stands still, holding Hank and Alice in the shadows to where they can’t move and stuck in the floor. “Because you’re a threat” He answered. Shade’s eyes were black; he wore a black shirt, pants, and trench coat. He looked like an evil Neo from Matrix. “A threat to what…?” “Well, if I told you that, you be able to stop it.” Shade responds. Blake’s heart begins to rise, his hands began to turn a red, smoke began to smolder from his clothes as pieces of his shirt fell off. “I wouldn’t do it, Blake…” “And to think, I always let you push me around at school…now, I have the power to stop you…your scared, Zane, your scared.” “Scared of a second rate loser with uncontrollable fire powers” Blake starts a fire on his hands. “You have a better chance of killing yourself…just like you killed your sister.” Blake’s eyes burst of flames. He shoots straight flames out at Zane, but he fades into the floor with his two friends. “Where are you, B!tch!” Blake looks around quickly, trying to find any shadow that isn’t his...He runs into the next room, and standing still in the darkness is Zane, holding a shadow like ball. It had white electricity sparking around it…around the black ball, it looked like purple sparks. “Don’t tempt me…” “To what?” “He looks down to see Hank and Alice’s heads sticking from the ground, stuck. “I would make this longer and more painful, but sadly, I have many more to kill, so I will make this quick.” He drops the shadow ball onto the ground, and it explodes on impact, sending a spark of energy throughout the house. Flames spew from the house, and wood shatters along the street. In the sea of fire, walking out is Shade. “What is my next mission now?” he asks. ----Back in NY---- Jake stands in front of many people who are lying on the ground injured. “You are not going to hurt anyone…” Tantrum charges up, Jake stands his ground, ready for anything. He looks to his left to find a door where the people can escape. The right is a few people. In front of him is Tantrum, and a bunch of broken walls, and behind him is eventually the street, along with more holes in the wall. He looks down to a cop that was on the floor. Giving him hand signals to the door, he nods. Jake holds the pants of Tantrum, and when he snaps his fingers, the cop hurries and directs the injured to the door and carries anyone who can’t walk to it. Tantrum sees the movement, and charges. Jake quickly moves ahead though. His super speed gets him closer to him, he jumps high in the air, higher than the Tantrum, who was like eight feet tall, and covers his face with the pants. Tantrum, continuing to run, can’t see, and runs out of control. Jake looks back at him, he slides out of control, and slams his head right against the concrete wall. Jake smiles, knowing he did well. He tries to walk only recognizing he isn’t going anywhere. He is flying… “Holy Sheeeiii”m flying!” The cop cars finally arrive, and gather around Tantrum, keeping him contained. “You responsible for this mess?” the lieutenant asks. “Um, well…not really.” He floats down to the ground, and stands back on his feet. “I’m just messing with you, kid; you done good…you’re a true hero today.” Jake smiles, “Thanks officer.” He walks out of the institution; the sun is out, shining in his face. For the first time since the bank incident…he felt good…but, he wanted more…He jumped in the air. Sparks came from his feet; He starts to fly, using his super speed along with it…in the direction, opposite of school. ----Later that evening---- Jason, along with his parents, is at the airport with his Jake and Rachel. His parents are keeping an eye on him after the whole running off to D.C. thing. Brandon comes off the plane holding a suitcase. His eyes were baggy, like he hadn’t slept in a while. “Brandon!” Brandon looks over to see Jason just a few feet away. “Hey Jason, listen, can we hurry and get back to your place? I haven’t slept the whole trip.” “Sure, but why not?” “I’ll explain…” Brandon peeks back and exiting the terminal are two people, pale as can be. Their red eyes glimmer in the light as they smile to Brandon. Brandon gulps in fear, “I’ll explain when we get to your place…” ----Meanwhile---- Dasiou Rikou sits on his knees in front of a grave…tears falling out from his eyes…two people watch from opposite sides, his every movement, and waiting for the right moment to strike.

Chapter 4: The Villain
Tuesday afternoon, September 9, 2014
Rikou stands up and stares at the grave down below, on the tombstone it reads, “Here lies Che Rikou, loved brother and son.” Dasiou closes his eyes, and focuses his power. Behind Rikou, hiding in the bushes yards away from him, is the Dark One… Rikou opens his eyes, but all he sees is darkness. He looks all around, wondering if he even opened his eyes, or maybe he became blind all of a sudden. “You have a great power young one…I can help you reach that potential.” “Who…where…where are you?” Dasiou stutters. “I am everywhere…I am the darkness…please accept my offer, come with me, and I will help you achieve the power you need…to raise your brother from the dead.” “How do you know…?” “I’ve been watching you for a while now, and I see your potential.” Meanwhile, Pickster stands on the right of Dark One nearby, watching the ball of darkness that surrounds the whole graveyard. “I knew he’d make his move soon.” He looks around the grave, and after a few minutes of searching, he spots the Dark One kneeling down behind some big bushes. Pickster walks silently behind him has Dark One focuses on his power. He gets close enough, and wraps his arm around Dark One, and starts choking him. Dark One’s shadow around his face starts to fade away, revealing his face. He eventually blacks out from the lack of air, and falls to the ground. The darkness around the graveyard slowly fades away, and Rikou can see. “He looks behind to see the Pickster, and the Dark One on the ground. “That must’ve been him…Thank you sir!” He runs over to him, “You know he kind of freaked me out for a moment.” Pickster looks at him, and pulls off his sunglasses. “Hey…I know you! You’re the guy who killed my dog!” “On the contrary, I helped the city…and I am helping the world.” “What?” Pickster pulls a pistol out of his inside coat pocket. Rikou’s eyes widen has he watches the pistol point right to his forehead. “You’re a threat to the world…all of these ‘power people’ are…and they don’t deserve to live!” A tear falls down Pickster’s eye as he remembers his wife…and comes closer to pulling the trigger.
----Meanwhile----
(Georgia)
Crowds of people surround the fire that has engulfed Alice and Hank’s temporary living. “You think there was anyone in there?” “What caused it?” “I hope no one was!” That was the talk among the crowd. Fire truck sirens soon fill the air; Firemen quickly jump out of the trucks to contain the fire before it gets any worse. It took many minutes before the fire was destroyed, two firemen walk in to find no one in the building. “No signs of life in here.” “No signs of dead either…what a relief!” The fireman walks inside the bedroom where there were two giant holes in the ground. “That’s interesting…”
Just moments ago….
Zane walks out of the house, as the fire engulfs the house, however, inside, they were very much alive. Blake focuses his energy to let out a burst of blue heat, shielding the explosion, and protecting Alice and Hank who were stuck in the ground. All around them was fire, but they were inside his heat shield. Hank and Alice’s heads were sticking out from the floor, but their bodies were in the crawl space. Blake still having to focus on the shield grabs a piece of wood near Hank’s neck and starts to pull the wood. It shatters and hank is able to get his shoulder up. Blake then pulls up the other side, so he can get both of his arms out. Hank and Blake do the same with Alice, and crawl out from the floor. Blake then continues to move the shield along with them as they walk through the burning house. “Blake, this is amazing…how are you doing this?!” Blake turns around, his face is like a pure blue fire, his hair is a dark blue wave of heat, and his eyes glow a bright white.” His clothes have burn marks in them, and slowly burn away has the fire spreads throughout his body. His forearms, his face, and up to his knees is fully engulfed with fire. “I really don’t know…” He moves the shield to a wall on the opposite side of the front door. He puts his hands on the wall, smoldering it away. He burns up the wall creating a big hole for them to walk out of safely. They quickly run into a small patch of trees nearby and hideout for now.
Tuesday Night…
Brandon walks into the Banks’ house as his parents tell him where his room is. “Thanks, Uncle Ian and Aunt Betty” He takes his stuff up to the room, Jason following him. Once they reach the guest bedroom, Brandon throws his things in a corner of the room and lies on the bed. “So, Brandon, not that I’m thrilled an all that you’re here, but why are you here?” Brandon laughs, “Sorry for barging in here, I mean, your parents are really cool about this…but my life has been really topsy-turvy lately.” “What happened?” “Well, you know that meteor shower that happened a few days ago?” “How could I forget, gave my best friend powers.” “You too!” “What?” “You remember Blake?” “Yeah, that kid was pretty cool.” “Not anymore.” “What happened?” Brandon sighs, not wanting to talk about it. “Well, I guess I should start at the beginning. Zane Reaper, this kid at school who is always causing trouble, gains these powers from the meteor and starts tormenting us…well, that got on Blake’s nerves a bit, and he abused his powers or so, and joined up with some couple, and now he’s full of hate and revenge.” “Aw, Brandon, I’m sorry, is that why you we’re so upset off the plane?” “Actually…that’s another story.” “How so?” “You know I am Legend?” “Yeah” “Envision that only in the air” “Okay?” “Yeah…” Brandon gets up from his bed, and starts unpacking his clothes. “So who’s the cutie at the airport?” he says trying to switch the conversation. “That’s my girlfriend, Rachel.” “She seemed nice.” “Yeah, she’s pretty cool…”
Early Wednesday morning, September 10, 2014
It’s still dark outside, Blake, Alice, and Hank sit around a fire, all just awoke from their sleep in the forest. The fire in the middle of their circle was blue…provided by Blake. Now Blake is completely covered in a blue fire all his clothes are burned off. Hank starts a conversation during the awkward silence, “So, Human Torch, is that the man you said was after you earlier?” Blake looks at him, you can barely make it out, but you could see his bright white eyes move. “No…” Alice looks up in shock, trying to warm up in a sweater. “What do you mean no! Who else have you pissed off?” “I don’t know, I can only see him in my sleep…” “Your sleep?” “…yes, I don’t know why, but all I see is torture and pain.” “Speaking of torture and pain” Hank interrupts, “I think we should go after this guy who is trying to kill us.” “Please, we can’t match him.” Alice says. “I know this kid, Hank, he’s a b****” “So are you…” Blake shows his anger. Alice throws a rock at Hank. “What the hell?” he yells. “Will you stop harassing him?” “Gee, everybody is so sensitive.” “Listen, he’s powerful, doesn’t care for anyone, and will do anything to this world as long as he gets what he wants, plus we don’t even know where he is!” “Actually…” “What?” “He’s heading for New York.” “How do you know?” Blake asks. Hank pulls out of his pocket a small handheld TV, created a few months ago. It shows a news report. “…and he has traveled as far from Connecticut to Kansas. Video footage shows a shadow like creature killing or causing damage to various houses or businesses. One connection is that at least one of any of those people…was affected by the meteor shower just a few days ago…they have traced his connections and travels, they say his next stop should be New York. So if you have at all been near a meteor, you may want to watch out…scientists have not even started studying the power peep….” The television begins to get static. “…en’t got…st….ject yet.” “Wow…and this all happened last night?” “Yup” “Wait, how do newscasters get the info so fast?” “Where do you think we are firefly, 2009?” “Will you quit?” Blake threatens “What are you going to do, start a wildfire?” “I can’t turn it off!” Blake yells. “We’ll learn to! Anyway, I want this guy, and I’m going to New York, whether you guys are or not.” “But Hank!” “Forget it, Alice…” “That’s not what I’m saying…” “Then what do you want!” “We’re over.” Hank clinches his fists, and walks off.
Hours Later, in New York.
Brandon sits at the table eating some cereal. Jason comes downstairs in his boxers and a t-shirt. “Dude, don’t you have to go to school in like five minutes?” “Yeah…” “You okay?” “Couldn’t sleep last night.” “That’s no excuse now.” “You seem to be doing better that last night.” Jason says as he sits down next to Brandon “Yeah, well, being back here is nice, plus a good night sleep in a house helps a little also. I mean, being without parents, without a house…” “All you had was school and Blake…” Jason interrupts. “Yeah…but now it’s like, I have a family again, and I’ve only been here for half a day.” “Anything for you man.” “So, you and Jake still hang out?” “Yeah, we’ve been real close lately…especially since the shower, he was affected by it too.” “Hope he has more self-control then Blake.” “He does…if anything he wants to become a hero…he made himself a costume and everything.” “Wow, creep…” They both laugh…when the front door barges open, standing there is a teary-eyed Jake. “Speak of the devil.” Brandon says. “Jake what’s wrong?” Jason stands up and walks to him. He suddenly bursts out into tears and hugs Jason. “Dude, tell me what’s wrong!” Jason’s stomach was in his throat now. Jake releases himself, “Just follow me…”

Chapter 5: The Pain
Wednesday afternoon, September 10, 2014
The rain was pouring down from the gray skies. Jake stands there in the graveyard, holding Dasiou Rikou, a bullet hole in his head with blood running out of it, and mixing with the rain. Tears come down Jake’s face non-stop. Jason and Brandon stand still, almost has it hasn’t hit them yet. Brandon tries to break the silence, “At least he died in a graveyard.” Jake looks up, as anger fills his face, the thunder rolls as he slowly lays down Rikou on the ground. “He was one of my best FRIENDS!” he yells. He then lunges and punches Brandon in the face, knocking him back. Brandon puts his hand over his right eye, when Jake lunges another punch to his gut. Jason quickly intervenes, and pushes Jake to the ground. He stands in front of Brandon. “Cut it out, guys!” Jake looks up to him as his tears and the rain pours down his face, you can’t tell the difference between the two. He then quickly gets on his feet and attacks Jason, trying to get to Brandon. “Jacob, stop it!” He just stops trying, has he leans on Jason, crying. Jason sees Rachel coming around the corner. She runs to them, holding an umbrella. “Jason I got your message, what is going on?” He points his eyes over to the ground. Her face goes into shock, as Jason closes his eyes, still holding Jake. Brandon comes from behind Jason, feeling it’s safe. “Oh my god, what happened?” “He was shot.” Jason says softly. “Why? Who would want to shoot him?” “I don’t know…” he starts choking up. Jake releases from Jason, and walks away. “Jake?” Jason says, but he doesn’t turn around, he just walks away in the rain. “Poor guy…” Rachel says. “I know, it’s sad, he and Das were always close…and…” Jason starts to get teary-eyed; Rachel hugs him, and comforts him. Brandon just looks around, feeling awkward in the situation, when he notices something behind the bushes. Brandon looks back at Jason, and then walks toward the bushes. When he gets there, he sees a man in a black suit with red outlines. “What?” He asks himself. “Looks like someone went on a killing spree around here.” He checks his pulse, but it’s still good. “Well, he didn’t finish the job.” He turns around, to go back and tell Jason, but he runs into another man in black. “Brandon! How nice to see you here.” Brandon doesn’t want to look up, but he recognizes the voice… “Zane…” “Please, call me Shade!” (Georgia)
Blake, still in an all fire form, they are still in the forest, not knowing what their next move is. Blake sees Alice come around the corner, carrying some berries in her hand. “Well, here’s dinner” she says has she lays the berries on her jacket. “You know what Alice? This sucks balls.” “You’re telling me.” “I mean, we’re in the middle of a forest, I can’t turn my fire thing off, and I’m hungry!” “I brought some berries.” He grabs a berry with his hands; it shrivels up into a black crumb. Blake looks at Alice. “Oh…” “I just want things to go back to normal.” “You and I both, you know, back when Hank wasn’t a jerk.” “He wasn’t always a jerk?” “No, he used to be the sweetest man I’ve ever met…and then ever since we’ve been here, he’s been a stubborn, selfish, jackass.” “I’m sorry…” “Me too, about Brandon.” “Brandon?” “Yeah, he left you here, wasn’t the best of friends.” Blake thinks for a minute… “Maybe it was my fault…” “No, Blake, I talked to him, he just didn’t want to deal with someone who had this kind of power, and I think it made him feel susceptible or something.” “That is not Brandon, Alice!” “It was too…” Blake stands up, the fire moves around his body. “Brandon, was my best friend, don’t ever talk about him like that.” “He left you, Blake…not caring at all.” Blake walks away, lighting the way through the forest has he goes.
Meanwhile….
“Zane, what are you doing here!” “Wouldn’t you like to know?” “Yes, I would actually” “Well, I was here to kill that little Mexican here, but apparently someone’s already beat me to it.” “Why? Wait…did you kill that Rikou kid?” “Who now?” “Don’t act all smug, Zane…you we’re always known as a murderer.” “I don’t deny it! I’ve been all the way to Kansas and back…but I didn’t kill anyone here.” “Brandon?” Brandon and Shade look over and see Jason and Rachel walking toward them. “Jason…” “Who’s this?” “This is…” “I’m Zane” he interrupts, offering to shake his hand. Jason looks down to the ground, seeing Dark One presumably dead. “It was you…” Jason says, becoming angry. “Oh boy, here we go again…” Zane says sarcastically. “You son of a…” Rachel grabs Jason’s arm to pull him back. “Don’t…” She whispers. Cops soon rush around the corner of the street. Zane fades down into the ground, the rest of the guys put hands up as cops come out with guns and point them. Dark One’s body then fades into the ground mysteriously.
The Next Day, Thursday, September 11, 2014
““I can’t believe you, attacking those people…Blake; you’ve got an anger problem.” “An anger problem!?” he yells, “He’s the one who freakin attacked me first! And you accuse me!?” “Yes…You know better than to go off like that…and since when do you throw fireballs out of your hands? I can’t believe you made it here alive; do you know how many people probably hate you? Know you? Think you’re a threat?” “You’re not my mother, Kristen!” Tears start to roll down her face, “Your right Blake, I’m not…But I know what’s right for you…I made mom a promise…and I’m going to keep that…so you’re grounded!” “Excuse me?” “Don’t talk to me like that…I’m going to try and be the mature one…why don’t you try?” Blake starts grunting, his hands begin to glow a red…”You’re not my mother!” Fire engulfs the building as the sound of people dying and screaming, burning to death fills the air. Blake walks out, unharmed…Brandon is there. “Blake! What the F*** is you do!” Blake flings a punch at Brandon molten fire flings off his hands, his eyes glow a bright red. “Don’t talk to me!” “Blake!” Brandon runs up to him. “You killed my family, Blake!!” Brandon says His dead sister soon appears right in front of him inside a body bag, zipper open to see the face. “What have I done…?” “You will pay…” Brandon says. Blake looks at Brandon, his face morphs into Zane’s face, and soon his body…” “Brandon?” “Hello, Blake…” “No, no!!” Blake begins to run, fire surrounds him though. Zane fades through the bottom of the ground, and starts choking Blake. “Die, Bastard!” Blake lies in the forest, a ratty pair of shorts cover Blake’s clothe less body. Blake, still sleeping, he begins to gasp for air… Behind a tree, a kid, no older than 14 hides, his eyes glowing purple. “You don’t deserve to live after what you did!” he says. Zane continues to choke Blake, “You don’t deserve to live after what you did!” Blake’s face is blue now; he would die any moment from lack of air. Suddenly, Blake starts to breathe again. The kid’s eyes go back to normal and he starts walking out toward Blake, and stands there. Alice then walks out from the forest. “Stay there, now.” She says. Her hand glows a blue has she points it toward the kid. She walks toward Blake, and kneels down, “Blake…Blake!” He jumps up, as if waking up from a nightmare. “Alice!” he gets up quickly, grabbing the waist of his shorts to keep them on. “What is this?” “This, Blake…is Nightmare.” “Nightmare?” Alice snaps her fingers, Nightmare snaps out of his trance. His face turns to shock. “Who are you?” He becomes angry suddenly, and lunges at Blake, a punch hits his face, and Blake steps back. His hands start to flame up, and he puts his fists up. Nightmare quickly stops. “What are you?” “I am Harry…or Nightmare, my mother and father died in a fire not too long ago…we were staying in a hotel when the smoke alarms went off. I had escaped out the window, but it was too late for my parents…I saw you, and couldn’t take standing back and doing nothing.” Blake’s face turns into a depressed one. He takes his fiery fist, and punches the kid right in the face, knocking him out cold. “Blake!” Alice yells. “We’re leaving here, and never coming back…” Blake walks off, signaling to follow him, Alice just stalls for a moment, before following him.
Meanwhile…
His eyes open slowly, he looks around, and he sees he’s on top of a rooftop. Dark One gets off of his knees. “Where am I?” “New York City! You live here, you’d think you know.” “Who are you?” Dark One asks “I am Shade, and I am here, to…well, kill you.” “What?” Dark One puts his fists up. “Don’t worry Joshua; I have changed my mind on a few things…” “How do you know my name?” “I searched up a few things about you while you were out.” “My face…” He looks in a puddle of water that was nearby. “You can see it!” “Well, duh!” “You bastard!” He surrounds the rooftop in darkness. “Please, I found you knocked out, almost dead, in a graveyard, you think I’m scared of…” Shade’s face feels a quick pain. Shade touches under his left eye; blood is left on his glove. “Okay…you’re good.” Shade stands firm, when his chest area starts to fizz. “Gotcha” He solidifies his hand to grab the arm that went through him. He pulls him through his own body, and starts punching the darkness. It looks like he is punching mid-air, but he can feel him, as can Joshua. The darkness around the building begins to fade away, and Shade is seen punching Dark One in the gut multiple times. “See, pathetic.” Shade’s face begins to wrinkle up then…Joshua smiles, even though he is in pain.”What….what are you…” Shade tries to get out his words, but he can’t, he is too weak. Shade then falls to the ground, and through Dark One. “Weak, huh” Shade quickly gains his strength back and tries to attack quickly, but his punches fall right through him. “Okay, you have some skill.” “Now what is it you really want?” “You…” “Excuse me; I’m not that kind of person.” “No you idiot, I want you to join me.” “In what” “That’s classified.” “What are you the secretary of defense? Forget it!” “What? I thought you always wanted to rule over this puny city.” Dark One stops from walking away. “Yeah, I read a few interviews you had with the jury…frankly, I love what you want…and I want it too…I think I can help you, and vice versa.” “If this is true…” “It is, cross my heart and hope to die!” Shade jokes in a monotone voice. “Then come with me.” He fades through the ground, as does Shade.
Meanwhile…
Pickster stands on a high rooftop, overlooking the Hudson River. It’s where he always comes to clear his mind, and think over some things. Tears come down his face, as he holds a gun in his right hand. Pickster pulls a pistol out of his inside coat pocket. Rikou’s eyes widen has he watches the pistol point right to his forehead. “You’re a threat to the world, all of these ‘power people’ are, and they don’t deserve to live!” A tear falls down Pickster’s eye as he remembers his wife and comes closer to pulling the trigger. Rikou begins to shout for help, but it’s too late. The bullet shot though his head. Blood began to rush out of it. Thunder is heard has he falls to the ground. A puddle of blood begins to form under his head. Pickster falls to his knees, and closes his eyes, as the rain begins to pour down…along with his tears. “It’s for the good of the world…” he says to himself… He thinks about his wife, “I’m sorry.” He flings his gun into the sky; it probably stays in the air for five seconds before finally falling down into the river below. “I can’t have any more deaths on my conscience, no matter who it is.” Later on, a funeral is being held for Dasiou Rikou, some of the school is there. Also sitting is some of his family. In the second row, Jake sits. Pickster is standing in the forest right where he died; he can see the funeral going on. He stares at the funeral, focusing on Jake Harvey, knowing that he had a cause in the death of his wife. Jake looks over, tears in his eyes, he sees a man in a black trench coat, standing still. His eyes widen, he stops crying. Somehow he knows the man is staring at him. After the funeral, Jason walks up to Jake, who is staring at his grave where he died, and puts his hand on his shoulder. Jake turns around and hugs Jason; tears fall down their eyes has the memory of Dasiou rests in their hearts. Rachel stands nearby, her face shows of her broken heart. Jake opens his eyes, as he looks over Jason’s shoulder, he stares at the man. The man walks away slowly, almost have if he had lost someone as well.

Episode 3: Freedom No More
Chapter 1: The Rules
Saturday, September 13, 2014, two days after the funeral
It’s been a pretty crazy last few days. The loss of Das has really put a barrier between me and Jake. He doesn’t want to talk to anyone at all. I feel really bad for him, I guess, I am a little scared that he’s going to abuse his powers. I keep thinking what if he really loses it; he could kill many with just a single bolt. Rachel hasn’t spoken to me either, it’s been two days and I haven’t seen or talked with her…It’s like she’s been avoiding me since then…
Two days ago, night of the funeral, Jason sits on the couch, Rachel asleep on his shoulder, his parents asleep upstairs. Jason is pretty tired; he can’t sleep, yet feels he can’t stay awake. The news comes on, showing clips of the Tantrum fight Jason sees Jake in his costume fighting Tantrum, he is amazed at the power he has. He starts thinking of what would happen if he just lost it. He softly lays Rachel’s head on a pillow, and walks into the downstairs bathroom beneath nearby. He looks in the mirror, his eyes red, tired, and droopy. It’s quite noticeable he needs sleep. As he continues to stare at the mirror, memories come back of the past week…from the meteor, to Dasiou…realizing the pain that has been brought upon by a simple meteor shower…simple? It was all over the country, heck, maybe the world! He lets out a loud sigh, and walks back to the sitting room where Rachel was, only to find her not there anymore. “Rachel?” Jason says, loud enough for her to hear him, but not loud enough to wake the others. “Rachel?” he continues to say. She was nowhere to be found.
I decided to just head for bed and talk to her in the morning. I lay down in bed that morning, just think over Jake and his powers…you’d think I’d be mourning Rikou’s death, but, this bothered me more…Is that bad? Or is it good that I’m looking out for a friend…Either way, the next morning was quite difficult.
Jason wakes up from his sleep, looking around his messy room, he leans his arm over to his nightstand and grabs his phone…he speed dials number three…he waits for a few seconds, only hearing the buzzing noise. “She always answers her phone.” Jason thinks to himself. He jumps out of bed, and puts on a shirt. He walks downstairs to hear a horrible noise in the bathroom. He walks over and knocks on it… “Brandon?” He hears a late reaction, “Yea?” “You alright?” “I’ve been better” He hears the noise again. Jason’s face spells disgust all over it. “Guess you ain’t going to school today.” “What?” “Yeah, my mom enrolled you in my school; she thinks it’s time you got an education.” “I haven’t been in since middle school” “Don’t worry about it, she hired a tutor to help you through the first few years of high school you missed.” “Wow…” “You done in there? Can I use the bathroom now?” “Can you use the one upstairs?” “Sure…” Jason runs up the stairs, Brandon peeks open the door and looks around to make sure no one is around. He quickly runs out of the door, holding a towel to cover most of his face, except his eyes. Around his eyes, he is very pale and a few green spots can be seen vaguely. He runs up the stairs to his room, and closes the door, locking it. I had planned on going to school that day, until my mother said she was letting me stay home since it was right after my best friend died…I started getting teary-eyed at the mention of him. It finally hit me that day that he was dead. I stayed in my room most of that day, so did Brandon, I don’t know what happened to him, the flu I guess…I still didn’t hear from Rachel at all that day, kind of worried me. I tried calling Jake, but he didn’t answer…I haven’t seen him since the funeral, who knows where he’s been…or what he’s been doing.
Saturday, September 13, 2014, Midday.
Blake and Alice sit by each other in the plane; Hank sits in the row in front of him. “Glad you guys decided to come along!” Hank says. Alice ignores him, and looks to Blake, who is sleeping and whose hand is starting to turn a bluish color. “Blake!” She yells Blake awakes quickly, his hand bursts into fire, and Abby grabs her water bottle and quickly sprays his hand. Blake tries to hold back the scream. “Sorry, don’t want to worry anybody.” “Yeah, no problem…” Abby sits back in a normal position. “So tell me a bit about yourself Blake. I mean we’ve lived together and I don’t even know your last name.” Blake laughs. “It’s Begek.” “Blake Begek, huh?” “Yup” “My parents died when I was little, first my dad, then my mother. She made my sister promise to take care of me, and raise me. She did, well…for the most part…We had an argument, and I lost control of my powers…” Abby’s face turns to shock, “No…” “Yes…” “Blake, I’m so sorry…” “It’s okay…so what about you?” “Well, I was born in Seattle, I was sent to an orphanage ever since I was little. I ran away at age seven, cared for myself…and I had to do a little trickery to do it…I met Hank, and I’ve never met my real parents…I’ve been looking for them since I escaped.” “You never knew your parents? That’s so sad.” “Yeah…” “I’m sorry” “Looks like we’ve both had it rough.” “Tell me about it.” The pilot comes on the microphone, “Ladies and Gentlemen, we will be landing at the JFK airport in New York in less than an hour, please enjoy the rest of your flight as we arrive shortly.
Meanwhile…
Jason stands at Jake’s doorstep and rings the doorbell. “Jake?” He opens the door. He is in his Crimson Battery costume, his mask is off. His hair was not combed, his eyes were red, and he looked horrible. “Aw, Jake…” Jake walks back, pouting his head. “Listen, I wanted to know how you’re doing, but I…do you need help?” Jake sits down on his couch. Jason sits next to him. “Jason…” He starts crying. “I know, Jake, I know, we all lost a great friend…” “No Jase, it’s not that…” “What?” “I lost control…” He looks up at Jason with tears in his eyes.
Meanwhile…
Zane sits down in a chair, Dark One stands by him, both are staring at a huge piece of machinery, it had a seat in it for one person, and then a large satellite on the back of it. It had a ton of wires that looked like they could be attached to a person. “This, Dark One, is brilliant…” “Yes.” “I did you build it?” “I was an engineer before my criminal days.” “Beautiful…and that’s saying something coming from me” Dark One lets out a chuckle… “Can you hack into other computer networks from here?” “Yeah…why” Dark One asks. “Can you keep a secret?” “Yeah” Zane presses multiple buttons on the keyboard, which was probably twice the size of a normal keyboard. Suddenly, a shadowed face appears before them. The light shone on the top of his bald, pale head. And his eyes glowed a reddish color. “My Goodness, Shade, who is that?” “This is someone that I’ve been helping, you could say.” A deep voice comes from the computer, “Who is the man beside you?” “A friend, he’s here to help…I want you to know that I have eliminated the threats in Georgia, and am now in New York.” “Well, Shade, you may think you were successful, but they’re on their way to your location now…” “What!” Shade exclaims. “You failed your job.” “They really are good…trust me, master, my job isn’t close to done…I have more connections with the Brandon boy.” “Ah, yes…Brandon…” “What, he’s a kid!” “No, Shade, he’s someone that could a damper in our plans.” “So I’ll take him out, he can’t be that strong, kid doesn’t lift.” “I’m not talking about that kind of strength” Shade looks to Dark One, who is just as confused.
Meanwhile…
“And the President is arriving now; they’re saying he is bringing along a special guest who will help out on the whole situation with the meteors and the power it gives. There he is, walking up to the podium at this moment!” the reporter says as the cameraman switches to the President. Walking behind President Obama is a tall skinny man in a lab coat. President Obama stands at the podium, the doctor behind him next to two security guards. “People of America, I am here to bring you a special announcement, one that may save you, your friends, and all that stand around you this very second.” He waves ahead the doctor, who walks up next to Obama. “This is Dr. Harry Walters. He came across one of the meteor rocks just a few days ago. He says he has examined it thoroughly, and knows exactly what is needed to be done.” The President steps back next to his bodyguards allowing the doctor to speak. “I can’t believe Obama is letting me speak, really…this is, just wow!” his voice was somewhat nerdy, but the shock and surprise could be seen in his face as well. “Has Mr. President has said already, I have examined this rock, and have found out that the people you’re seeing, shooting electric bolts out of their hands, pounding the wall down, are actually results of a virus.” The people begin to talk amongst themselves. “There is some strain of virus in the meteor rock that affects a human blood cell…the process is quick as it travels along the bloodstream, giving you amazing abilities…where these come from are unknown, but we’re working on a cure as we speak.” People begin to raise their hands, the doctor in surprise points to a man closest to him. “Hi, I have a question, what will happen to those who do not agree to take this cure you’re working on…I believe most of us have seen movies like the X-Men…is this going to turn into a war?” “Actually…” The doctor’s voice starts to tremble…the President looks in shock as blood rushes from a hole in his back. The two guards by Obama fall instantly, around him, all his bodyguards sit in a pile of blood within an instant. People were running around screaming now, the President’s heart was beating hard. He looked around him to see a man in a dark blue trench coat. His black hair was full of gel, and his dark sunglasses reflected in the sun. Behind him are four men, all holding snipers. “I believe I can answer the question for that man for you, Mr. President” “What do you want?” “No need to be scared, Mr. President…” The mysterious man checks radar-like thing on his forearm, showing the BPM. “Yes, I can see your heart rate and all…nice to know you’re a normal man.” “What are you going to do to me?” “Listen, we’re not terrorists or anything, in fact, I voted for you to be here right now…I actually need your help on something…” “What is it?” The man smiles an evil smile…”Like I said, I have an answer to the reporter’s question”
Meanwhile, Brandon sits on his bed…his face has pale as white, along with the rest of his skin. He wakes up, and looks around his room. He walks downstairs, wearing a robe. He grabs a coffee cup and fills it with hot water, preparing to make some hot tea to soothe his throat. Jason’s mother walks downstairs. “Brandon, are you feeling any better to…” She finishes the sentence with a scream, startling Brandon who drops the cup. It shatters all over the floor. “What?” “Your face!” she screams He runs to the bathroom quickly, and slams through the door, knocking it off the hinges. “What the hell?” he looks at his face in the mirror and all that is heard is a loud scream.

Chapter 2: The Rebellion
Saturday, September 13, 2014, Late at Night.
After the funeral was over, I couldn’t talk with anyone there. I couldn’t bear the loss of such a close friend, I went straight home. I sat there, by myself, the pain was deep. It felt like there was a knife sticking right through my chest. That night, I couldn’t sleep; I went outside and sat on the porch, trying to let the cool air clear my mind. That’s when I saw him. “Who?” Jason interrupts The Watcher…I came up with that name by myself. Yes, I think I have a knack for those things. He was stalking me all day. From the funeral to me at my house, he followed me. Spooky? Yes. Intimidating? No. With my powers, I could take on anyone, I wasn’t scared. I pulled off my sweatshirt, wearing a t-shirt underneath. I called him out. The man in his black trench coat just stood there, speechless and motionless. So, I walked out there to him. He never moved, he just stood there…thoughts ran through my head, Dasiou, the bank robbery, everything that has happened the last few days. It’s just so much stress, and this man in his black clothing. He knew me, I know he did, why would he be following me, did he know I had powers? I don’t know…but he never will. Because in my stress, I charged up my hand, and sent thousands of volts into his body. He flew back away. I walked out to his dead body on the ground. His face now revealed in the light of a simple street light post. His coat was open. I saw some papers sticking out of his pockets. I grabbed them, and this is what it read. “If you’re reading this, you probably killed me out of anger, with that said; I did not deserve to die. Just like your friend…I’m sure it gives you much pain, now you know how I felt when you killed my wife. I am after you, Jake; I am after you and all those power people who have made this world a horrible place. “No…” Jason says. “It was signed, the Pickster” “Pickster?” “Yep…that’s not all.” “What else did you do?” Jason says kind of scared. “I turned around for a couple of seconds, and when I looked back, he was gone…” “So…he’s still after you.” “He’s pissed off for my doing back at the bank.” “I told you, Jake, it wasn’t your fault!” “Well, this psycho sure thinks so! But does he even consider that one all-black dude? No!” “Well, you can take him on!” “I shocked that guy to death and he’s alive! This guy has powers, he’s stronger then that one dude from the mental institution!” “Tantrum” “Yeah” “Well, you had it easy, the meteor hit a mindless psycho! It’s not like he knew what he was doing” “Not the point!” “I know, I know, but don’t worry, you might have lost control, but you didn’t kill anyone, even that girl at the bank…it’s not your fault, so cheer up!” “Right…right…” Jason and Jake walk outside, “So uh, have you seen Rachel. It’s been days and she hasn’t shown up.” Jake is speechless. “Uh, Jason” Jake points out to Jason what he is staring at. Jason looks over and sees a big armored truck in the middle of the neighborhood. Three armed men in Camou suits barge into a house, another man sits back waiting for them to return. He carries a small radar gun, which is beeping quickly. “What’s going on?” Suddenly, the two men hold a young man by the arms and the other guy has a gun to his back. He is struggling hard, trying to break free. They throw him into the back of the armored vehicle, and shut the door. Moments later, dents begin to form inside-out of the back of the truck. The man inside was trying to punch his way out. With no luck though, the armored truck drives off. “They just took that man away!” Jason says. “Why?” “Probably because he had powers…turn on the TV!” Jason yells to Jake. He runs back inside the house and quickly flips the TV on. Jason runs over and hops onto the couch in a semi-cool fashion, has they switch it to CNN news. “Oh my…” Jason starts. “God…” Jake finishes. On television, inside a huge storage base, they show hundreds of cages, electrified on the bars. “As you can, we are ready for taking action. Right after President Obama declared that power people be put away, governmental scientists quickly gathered these jail cages. Specializing for keep these people imprisoned.” “Many of these people have already been captured.” Clips are shown of people being taken away. “Some have been easy, others have not been.” Another clip is shown where a girl phases through the men until they shock her with a special gun, and take her out. Jason’s eyes widen watching this. “The ferocity of these new creatures has the government taking action. After the tantrum incident, and the attack on the President, Obama has decided to take drastic measures in protecting the United States.” “Yeah, right” “What?” Jake says. “Do you know how many of those people are good? And don’t deserve such pain?” Jason says. He’s doing more harm than good, because all the other power people will just rebel and attack!” “Why aren’t you going into politics again?”
----Meanwhile----
Blake, Alice, and Hank sit inside an old abandoned apartment. Blake is eating some beans right out of a can, and Alice chows down on some berries that she kept in her bag. Hank stands up, just staring at them. “You people act like were poor!” “We are…” Alice says. “Um, hello…we just flew to New York…” Blake gives him a dirty look… Days ago… Blake and Alice arrive at the airport, and find Hank mumbling to himself while pacing back and forth. “Hank” Alice says. “Alice…” he mumbles…and then he lifts his head up just like the light bulb went off, “Alice!” he says more exuberantly. “Why are you still here?” she asks. “Well, I kind of forgot about the plane ticket thing and I tried to convince her, but apparently she has no guilt for the poor…so…” “So you want me to tell the girl to give us plane tickets to New York.” “And you don’t even have my power to read minds.” Alice smirks. “Oh yeah…I forgot again.” “So, let me ask you this, Hank.” Alice says, “How on earth do you have the powers to read others minds, but, you can’t even remember your own memories.” “Makes you wonder, huh?” “I’m just glad to be out of Georgia, that place has too many bad memories…” “Well, now that we’re here we can track down that bastard who tried to kill us!” “Dude, I know him, he’s pretty powerful, and has the mind of an insane mental patient.” “Well, anything’s better than just sitting here.”
Meanwhile….
Jake and Jason arrive back at Jason’s place where Brandon is sitting at the dining room table. His whole face is a pale green, and is freckles have turned a dark green. Is hair is also getting a green hue. “Hey, Jason, who’s the alien?” Jake says. “Shut up, Jake!” Brandon yells. “It’s just some side-effect to this cold I have.” “You must have it really bad.” “Yeah…I’ve had a fever all day, I’m barfing non-stop, and my eyes are really bloodshot.” “Just get some rest” Jake says. “I will…but turn down the heat; it’s burning up in here.” “It’s just your flu!” Jason yells. “I don’t know about that Jason, I think I’m starting to sweat.” Jake walks over to the thermostat on the wall. “That’s odd…” “What?” Jason asks, almost hesitant. “It’s like 69 degrees.” “That’s strange.” “You’re not feeling it at all?” “Eh, nope.” He says, and then quickly changes the subject, “So about this power capture thing…” Jake looks at him funny.
Sunday Morning, September 14, 2014
Brandon lies down in bed, his face covered with sweat, his clothes and sheets are stained with sweat, he tosses and turns before he wakes up urgently, almost as if he awakened from a bad dream. “Damn, I hate this…” He rubs his eyes and walks over to a mirror. He opens his eyes to find the iris is completely red. “My God!” he screams, “What is going on with me!?”
Meanwhile…
Jason sits down on the couch watching an episode of Family Guy while eating Frosted Mini Wheat. Jake walks down the stairs at that moment. “Dude, I just realized I stayed the night last night.” “Yeah you crashed at eight, figured I’d let you sleep.” “Thanks man, hey is that Family Guy?” “Hell yeah, it is…” Jake hops the back of the couch and sits down, “I love this episode” “We interrupt your current broadcast to bring you an update on our current situation.” “Ah, crap…I’ll be in the bathroom.” Jake says. “Over the past night, over a hundred of power people have been captured and have their own “quarantine cell” on the whole east coast.” “Man…” Jason says with a gulp. Clips are shown of certain people that have had powers, when a face comes up that Jason notices. He puts down his cereal bowl, and rewinds via DVR. He pauses it on a girl’s face. His fist begins to glow a orange. The wooden table begins to sizzle and blacken. Jake then yells out. Jason’s power quells. “Dude, it’s freakin hot in this house!!” “Sorry…” He looks back at the TV, with Rachel’s face on the screen, he mumbles, “Now it’s gotten out of hand…”
Later that day, near sunset…
Blake and Alice stand outside a Kroger. Alice holds two bags full of random foods, while Blake’s full body is consumed by fire. Five cop cars surround the area. “Put your hands in the air and put the food down and we won’t fire!” “Who’s to say I won’t?” Wildfire says. “Listen, just cooperate and we won’t bring in the real people you should be scared of.” The cop says, hoping they won’t hurt them. He was sweating like hell. You could easily tell he was scared of two power persons. He knows the stories, the rumors…their powers. Yet, he still did his duty. Either that, or he was sweating from the heat off of Wildfire. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning strikes down from the sky, and two men appear. One man wore a red clothing with yellow bolts on his suit, everyone knew him, the Crimson Battery. But, there was someone new by him. He wore a dark burgundy, almost black costume. He had bright red boots and belt. And had a yellow stripe that went down the sides of his arms, legs, and down the middle of his chest. This was Heatwave. “Hold it, all of you!” Crimson Battery says. “And who are you two?” the cop yells, the stutter in his voice showed he was twice as scared as before. “I’m the Crimson Battery, remember I saved you from that crazy psycho maniac tearing up the streets?” “No…” he replies simply. “Geez, don’t cops watch the news?” “Just trust us, we’re heroes here and we’re just trying to make things easier.” Crimson Battery says as he walks toward the cops. “Jake, no” Heatwave whispers. “Fire!” one of the cops yell, and bullets fly toward Jake. Heatwave quickly slides in front of him, and focuses his power. When the bullets reach near him, they slow down, and begin to melt in mid-air. “Whoa!” Jake says. Even Alice and Blake are both shocked by this. The cops all stop shooting, and call in the backup. “Crap, look what you did now!” Jason says. “Dude, that was sick! Why the hell didn’t you tell me you had powers before?” “Well, I don’t know, I guess I was kind of scared of them, or maybe I was just worried what others would think…or maybe some writer forgot to write it in earlier.” “Hey! I like some of his writings!” “Not the point, Jake.” “Yeah, yeah.” Jake and Jason get back to reality and realize that everyone is staring at them. Even Blake and Alice haven’t tried to escape yet. “How about them Knicks?” Jake yells. Jason just looks down, almost embarrassed to be around Jake. Alice then leans toward Blake, “I’ve really had enough of this…here, hold this!” Alice hands Blake the bag who is saying, “No, don’t…” the bag burns up in his hands and all the food falls to the ground. “Nice going, Alice!” She walks up very casually to the front of the hero pack and begins to focus all her energy on the cops. “What the heck is she doing?” Jake asks. Within a second, every cop in front of them puts their weapons away, and gets into their cars, driving off. “Come on, we should go before the government soldiers arrive, Blake as much food as you can. And you two…are you with us, or not?” Jason acts in surprise, Jake whispers over to him, “Go ahead, she’s cute!” “She’s also a thief.” Jason says aloud. “What are you going to do about that?” She walks up close to Heatwave, almost touching him, “After all, I can make you do anything I want…anything.” Blake’s eyes widen, stunned by her actions. “Um, well…” “We will tag along!” Jake interrupts “Then hurry your asses up!” She snaps her fingers and both heroes quickly follow them.

Chapter 3: The Plot
Alice and Blake, otherwise known as She-Devil and Wildfire, enter their small hideout, the abandoned apartment, with the two heroes following behind. “Hank” Alice says quite loudly, “Hank, we’re back.” “Alice, he isn’t here.” Blake says coming out of his room. “I wonder where he is.”
Meanwhile…
Hank is hiding around the corner of a building. His shirt is dirty, and ripped up, sweat and blood runs down his face, and he is breathing hard. He looks around the corner of the building, seeing empty streets. “I’ve never seen New York so empty:” he thought to himself. “I’ve done my part to make sure no one interferes…” Hank turns around quickly to see Shade standing right beside him. “You’re the first visitor to have to guts to face me.” “You tried to kill me, you can’t tell me your surprised to see me!” He says, going in for the punch, Shade switches to shadow form, and he phases right through Hank. “You’ve tried that at least four times, boy, you can’t over power me.” “I won’t give up.” “And that’s what really upsets me, so much potential in you, and you waste it trying to overpower the most powerful man on the planet.” “You will die.” He pulls out a gun from his pocket, and points it at Shade. Shade however, creates a small energetic shadow ball, and flings it at Hank. It explodes when it by the bullet, knocking Hank against a dumpster in the alley. “Now, why don’t you listen instead of continuing to embarrass yourself?” Hank gets up, burn marks all over his front side of the body, “Go ahead…talk!” “I have many plans and plots to our little ‘power people’ situation that has cooked up. I don’t care about these rules that the President has enforced: the capturing of heroes, trying to cure them, and all that sh1t. All I want, is the most powerful ones, to help me achieve my goal.” “Which is?” “Well, there are some things which can’t be said aloud. Join me and my ‘Shadow Gang’ and I will explain the rest.” “How do I know this isn’t some trap?” “Because if I wanted you dead, you wouldn’t be standing here talking to me.”
-Back at the Hideout-
Alice, Blake, Jake, and Jason all sit on the floor, eating random foods that Blake had stolen. “Jake, I’m not sure I feel comfortable eating stolen food.” He whispers over to him. “Why not, you didn’t steal it.” “And why are we not, you know, sending these two to jail.” “Because, you said we’re going to need all the teammates we can get if we’re going to stop this little rampage the U.S. has gone over.” “What? I never said that…” “Oh…well, then I did, and I think we should let them help us.” “How do you know we can trust them?” “Because, they will want the President’s act over just has much as we do.” Jason agrees with Jake’s comment, but still doesn’t eat the food. Something then comes to his head. “Hey, listen guys, I will be back in a minute, I just remembered something…” She-Devil quickly gets up, “What is it?” “A family member…” “Really” She says, suspicious. “Alice, don’t worry, he’s telling the truth.” Blake says. “How do you know?” Alice asks. “It’s Brandon…” Alice’s eyes widen, “He’s related to Jason?” Jake breaks the awkward silence, “Can anyone say irony?” Jason rolls his eyes, “Jake, will you be alright here?” “Yeah, bro, I’m good.” Jason leaves the premises, leaving behind the three. “So, it’s Alice right?” Jake says walking over and sitting next to her. Alice just sighs and walks over to Blake. Jake shrugs his shoulders and digs into some chips. “So…” Blake begins, “Where did your whole attitude come from at Kroger?” “Huh?” “Your whole attitude, it completely changed.” “I don’t know, I just got into the moment I guess, it definitely gives a rush.” “Yeah, sure does…”
-Later on-
Its dark now, the sky is cloudless, and the moon shines bright in the night sky. Jason enters his house, wearing a sweatshirt to cover his costume. “Brandon? You in here?” He says loudly. The house is pitch black except for the moonlight shining in. Jason goes for the light switch, but nothing comes on. Geez, this is something you’d see in a horror movie… Jason thinks to himself as Brandon still doesn’t answer to his name. His heart actually begins to race. Come on, Jase, what are you afraid of…This is your house, and your beginning to sweat, what are you scared of? Jason sucks it up, and walks in determined, still calling out for Brandon, he walks up the stairs. His heart actually begins to pound faster, even though he doesn’t show fear on the outside, he feels it inside. “This is ridiculous, Brandon!” he yells. After checking all the rooms, he finally comes to Brandon’s at the end of the hallway. The door is closed; a small light can be seen coming from the room. “Oh, good.” Jason walks up to the door and opens it. he looks around the room that is dimly lit by a candle in the middle. Over at the bed, he sees a lump under the covers. “Brandon…” He walks over and begins to nudge him, with no answer, he pulls off the covers, “Come on Brandon, and quit messing around.” As the covers pull off, A greenish creature screams in the face of Jason. Jason freaks out at the scream and slaps it across the face, knocking it against the wall. “Oww, what the hell was that?” “You scared the crap out of me!” “That was the point, smart one.” “What happened to you?” “What are you talking about?” “You look like…don’t take this offensive, a complete monster.” “Was it the scream? My voice is still messed up from the cold.” “Dude, this isn’t a normal cold!” “What?” “Look at yourself!” “I’m just a little pale…It freaked me out at first, but I looked it up online, paleness is very common.” “Brandon! Look at yourself!” He walks over to a mirror, he sees his face, which is completely white with a green hue. His eyes are pure red, and his teeth have begun to look like fangs, almost has if their growing abnormally. His hair is also thinning. That one fro he had is no more. “My god, what happened?” “You tell me!” “I’m a freakin freak!” Something comes to Brandon’s mind just then…”I know where I got this…from the old guy!” Brandon begins to act excited, which just plainly freaks out Jason. “What old guy?” “The old guy, on the plane, he yelled at me! He looked just like this, like an I am Legend sort of thing!” “Wait…hold on…so this is like a disease?” “I don’t know…I mean, if it is, it is obviously more noticeable then the swine flu!” “It can’t be though, no one has ever seen anything like this, I mean, your disgusting! Look at your hands!” He lifts them up and reveals his dry hands that are looking scaly and his fingernails which have gotten longer and sharper. “So I haven’t clipped my nails in a while…” Jason walks up to Brandon. “Brandon! Snap out of it! Listen to me! You are turning into something! I don’t know what, I don’t know why, and I don’t know how! But this is not you normal disease, this is serious, now take it seriously!” he says. Brandon is silent for a while… “Why is the power out?” “Power surge went through this neighborhood, killed all the electricity, guy said it’d be back by tomorrow.” “Well, then we’re not staying here, come with me.” “You want me to go out like this?” “Put a hoodie on!”
Monday, September 15, 2014
Joshua, or Dark One, sits down in his machine that he has been working on. Zane is over at the computer screen, and Hank stands by Joshua. “So what is this thing?” “This, my new friend, is what will give me and Shade more power than you can imagine, and once we have that power, and with the reliance on a few of Shade’s friends, things on this earth will change…drastically.” The voice in Josh’s voice showed just how serious he is. Hank knew he wasn’t kidding around. “How does it work?” “Well, you see, we need a…” Dark One was about to finish when Shade interrupted, “Looks like we’ve got another job.” “What does your shadowy friend as another task?” “No, this is completely my idea.” “What is it?” Hank asks curiously. “We’re going after Obama.” “Why?” “This anti-meteor thing he’s going through is going to get out of control if we don’t stop it. He already has the swat team roaming around neighborhoods tracking down with equipment only God knows where they got it.” “Yeah, okay, so let’s just waltz into the white house and have a talk with the President. It’s not that simple.” Hank says confidently. “God, Hank, have you been paying attention this whole time?” Shade yells, “I’m a freakin shadow for crying out loud!” Zane walks back over towards the computer, Dark One follows him. “Why the hell are we putting up with this Hank guy?” “He’s just for support; we’ll dump him when the time’s right.” “Can you trust him?” “No, that’s why I like him…” Dark One is confused, but he just rubs it off, not understanding half the things Shade does.
-Meanwhile-
Jake and Jason sit on one side of the table, while Blake and Alice are on the other side. Brandon is in a bedroom inside Blake and Alice’s little hideout. “Okay, so, here’s the deal, me and Jake have decided we need your help.” Jason says. “What is this, some kind of meeting?” Blake interrupts. “Somewhat…and if you want the chance of living in the next few days, I suggest you listen.” Jason continues, “We all know Obama has given the act to give away all meteor freaks.” “Dude, you completely stole that from Smallville.” Jake interrupts. Jason gives him a stern look before continuing on, “We POWER PEOPLE” he over exaggerates to Jake, “Are being put away at a quick rate, they’ve estimated almost 200 have been put away around the world, not only that, scientists in D.C. are working on a cure from a meteor shard that I…I mean, they found.” Jake looks over at him, now realizing what he actually almost said. “I have a small plan that hopefully will get us in with Obama, and we can talk to him about this whole thing.” “What’s in it for us?” Alice says. “We won’t send you to jail for theft.” Jake says. “Fair enough.” She responds. “What’s your idea for getting in the White House.” “I am planning on breaking out a girl who may help us.” “What makes you so sure she will?” Blake asks. “She’s my girlfriend.” “How can we get in with her?” “She’s a freakin shadow, should be easy for her.” “What about your friend, Brandon?” Blake continues to ask questions. “He’s gonna have to sit this one out, considering he has no powers, it’ll be dangerous for him.” “He’s not going to like that.” Jake says. “I know, but he’ll have to take one for the team.” While they talk inside, unknowingly to them, a creature stands outside, he has four skinny arms, his whole, skinny body is a pure blue, and his tail is about the length of his body. He peeks into the window, almost like an animal, he sniffs out his surroundings, and makes weird squeak noises, after he sees them scatter away from the table, the creature grows wings like a fly, and quickly sails off into the air. Jake walks over to Jason on one side of the room, “This is risky, think we can trust them?” Jason watches Blake and Alice converse in the other room. “I don’t know, that’s what scares me though.
-A little later that day-
The man known only has the Pickster, in his dark over coat, sits in a dark room, with barely any light. The blue creature flies in through a curtain covering the window, the sunlight shone through and gave a glimpse of Pickster’s face. The creature speaks. His voice is nasally, and hard to understand, but Pickster knows him. “Sir, sir, they are planning to attack, they have from what I’ve seen four of them.” “Then we will take the proper measures. Get me the President.” The blue creature walks over to a small control panel in the other room, presses a few buttons. On Pickster’s wrist is a small television screen. The President appears on it. He looks confident, but on the inside, he knows that his life is on the line. “Mr. President, I have enjoyed the way these last few days went, but they are planning to revolt…there is only one thing to do, Mr. President.” He says with shame, “What is it?” “Kill anyone with a meteor energy reading.” “Kill? I thought it was the one thing you were against.” “Drastic times call for drastic measures Mr. President.” The screen goes blank, not letting the President respond. “Thank you Spyder.” The blue creature, Spyder, crawls back in, “My pleasure, sir.”

He is the smartest of all the heroes and villains, and also has increased strength and speed. Zane/Shade – Able to become a shadow at will and travel through matter as a shadow. He is able to create weapons of shadow and create beams as well. Hank – Although he has no unique name, Hank has telekinetic ability. Able to read others mind. After Blake and Brandon had a fight due to Blake’s powers, Brandon moved in with his cousin, Jason, who was secretly developing powers of his own. Jason, Jake, Rachel, and Rikou all had powers, Rikou died for his at the hands of Pickster…who is now in control of the government in D.C. After escaping Zane, the Georgia Clan heads to N.Y. where they run into the new group of heroes, Jason and Jake. They realize that they must team up, despite the differences, to stop the President from killing all power people, but meanwhile, Zane and Dark One meet up, and Zane introduces (somewhat) to his secret leader, which is so far been known as intelligent and powerful, also throughout the story, Brandon has been becoming really ill, and has noticed a few other people, like the man on the plane, has come down with it as well…and NOW…. Chapter 4: The Break-In

“Okay people, okay, lets overview this one more time…” Jason comes out with Papers in his hand. Crimson Battery, Wildfire, and She-Devil come in the room, the two anti-heroes with new costumes on. Blake is wearing sleek blue full-body clothing, with different shades of blue stripes on the sides. He also wears black boots, gloves, and a mask, with the mouth cut open. He wears a visor over his eyes that look like it was cut off a motorcycle helmet. And he has light blue pads on his chest, shins, shoulders, and other areas a guy really needs to protect. She-Devil wears a short red skirt with a numerous designs on it, she has white leggings, and knee high black boots. Her top consists of a red scarf, and a black tank top. She wears black gloves that come up half way up her arm, and the finger tips are red. She has also replaced her sunglasses with red lenses, which cannot be seen through. “Wow…you two really went all out when I said just find a disguise or something. I mean, Blake, where did you get the…” He knocks on his chest, the armor is like hard foam, “um, foam breastplate?” “I found it with an old Halloween costume I wore in the sixth grade.” “Nice...And Alice, I don’t mean to judge, but honestly, your skirt look like it came off of a shower curtain.” “You don’t mean to judge? Then don’t judge!” She says with a feisty attitude. Jason gulps, “Sorry…” Alice crosses her arms. Jason quickly changes the subject, “So, um, everyone remembers their jobs, right?” They all nod their heads as if they heard it a million times. Jason then hands out three earphones. These will keep us in contact. “Remember to contact if you are caught in anyway. This is a high-tech, super secure facility and the only way we will make it out is if everything goes according to plan.” “You sure this is going to work, Jason?” Jake says nervously. “Jake, Rachel needs us, and I don’t care what I have to go through to get her out of that cell…just the thought of her in there…” Jason starts to become sensitive…”I’m going to go tell Brandon we’re leaving.” The three teammates head outside the hideout, while Jason heads into the bedroom. “Brandon?” Brandon lies down on the bed, his face in the pillow, “Hey bud, um, we’re uh, going…” “Okay…” “You gonna be all right by yourself?” “Jason, I’m a year older than you, it’s not like just because I don’t have powers, I can’t protect myself, so don’t talk to me like you’re above me.” “Okay…I’m sorry…What are you gonna do?” “Wash up and go to sleep…I’m sure I’ll here about you on the news tomorrow anyway.” Jason nods his head, and walks out of the house meeting with the rest. “You guys ready?” “To the Pentagon” Jake says. Brandon sticks his face out of the pillow. Now big bumps have started to grow on his forehead. He walks into the bathroom while taking off his shirt, and moments later…. “Hey! What happened to the shower curtain?”
Meanwhile, while the heroes’ team is planning to break out a friend, the other side is busy planning their own little scheme.
“All right, so we’ve got everything ready?” Zane asks. “Got what ready?” Dark One replies. “Excuse me? My well thought out plan that I worked countless hours on…the one where we break into the White House and have a little chat with our country’s leader.” “Oh! That plan…you mean the one where we use Hank to distract the security guards and we sneak in the back…taking us directly to the President.” “Yeah, that one” “Countless hours, my ass” Zane punches Dark One in the gut. He crouches down in pain. “You know, things have been a little lax around here.” He grabs the back of his neck, and talks to him close up. “Just remember that you need me to help you with your little science project. I don’t need you. I am letting you help me!” “I could easily kick your ass right now, Shade.” “Then why don’t you?” Joshua lowers his fist. Zane releases his grip, “Because you need me.” Zane says with a smile. Zane grabs his long, black jacket from the desk, “Grab the boy, let’s go.” “Zane…Hank isn’t here.” “Well, where is he?” “Gone” Zane’s eyes widen and stomps out the door, “That little piece of…” he slams the door. Joshua looks over to the huge computer screen, which is off right now. He looks around, examining the computer. When he turns it on, a pop-up appears with the words, “Download complete” “Oh god, no…” Dark One quickly rushes out the door.
An hour later…
The hero team falls from the skies on a rooftop of the Pentagon. They slowly get up, hurting from the fall. “Crap, Jake, a loud noise on the roof of the biggest defense department in the U.S. isn’t noticeable.” “Sorry, Jason, I’m out of juice…” “It’s all right, I guess...” Jason looks around, “Wait, where’s the other two?” Jake looks below and sees a hole in the roof, and Alice and Blake unconscious on the ground. “Found them…” Alarms go off all around the place. “This can only go so well” Jason says. Guards quickly rush to the two guys unconscious, while Jason helps Jake up, and head for the edge of the building. “You’re not serious?” “Come on, one last boost!” “I’ll try.” Jake and Jason jump off of the Pentagon, while guards rush the roof. Jake charges one last bolt of energy to soften the fall to the ground. Jason keeps his ground, but Jake has no life in him. Jason, aware of his surroundings drags Jake behind a bush near the building. The alarms continue to go off, and guards rush the perimeter. “Jake, stay here, looks like I’m on my own.” “Jason…you, you can’t go alone.” “I have to…for Rachel…stay here and charge up, I’ll be back.” Jason moves away from Jake, to avoid him getting hurt, and still behind some bushes, focuses at the wall. He stares at it for seconds until finally the edge of it begins to smolder, and burn away. After moments, there is a big enough hole for him to crawl through. As the alarms continue to ring, Jason looks around to see an air shaft nearby, he takes off the cover, and crawls in, closing it on his way out.
