This is SPAM. Amazing- Sandman 2099- Ock Ultimate- Electro Final Boss- Mysterio (ugh) I'm happy. I thought Electro would be in Ultimate. Doc Ock in 2099 will be cool. Mysterio as the final boss- CALLED IT!!!! ;D Yeah, I'm pretty annoyed about Mysterio being the final boss AGAIN.... That kind of damages my hopes for the game.... drastically.... The last time Mysterio was ranked higher than Gobby and Ock? The game sucked. Just a thought....

What FOF?
It wasn't that bad. It was aimed for kids, so they had to keep it simplistic.

I'm sorry, but Mysterio just doesn't work as a big bad.... Not when you have 2 out of the Big Three in the game.... Heck, Mysterio's never really been more than a common thief or a lackey villain, even in the comics! So what, now he wants to rule the world? Ain't gonna fly....

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe was OK for me, but I don't consider that to be Mysterio but another portrayal of him. Mysterio also has the possibility to be Big Bad worthy but writers won't explore it. Anyway in the opening cutscene of the game he is acting all common crook/thief like by originally intending to steal the tablet and sell it to the black market. Maybe the tablet possesd him or something. Or maybe he relizes the potential this new power can make him. I'm gonna see how they take it before I judge though.

But Mysterio's BEEN the Big Bad! In Friend or Foe, and in an obscure GBA game! Do we really need to make people think he's as big as Doc Ock? 'Cause I do believe this gives him one-up on Ock as a video game Big Bad.... Only Venom really has more.... In fact, Mysterio will now have the same number as THE GREEN GOBLIN - and that's counting TWO obscure Gobby games! (Battle for New York and some really really old game from like the '60s or something - I'm not even sure if it counts....) Seriously, Mysterio is NOT that big of a villain!!! He's B-list! He's not of the Big Three! Stop pretending he is!!!

Stop complaining, I think they're using Mysterio as the big bad for plot setup. I mean what other villains would really CARE about stealing a MYSTICAL tablet.
Doc-Ock wouldn't. He's a scientist.
Gobby wouldn't. He's too busy with revenge and the like.
Venom wouldn't. He's hunting Peter not making plans.
There's your big three.

You mean Mystero' Menace? I love that game seeing it was the first GBA game I got. I apologize if I went a bit overboard in my Mysterio bias rant. I agree with Zane. The big three wouldn't care about a mystical tablet, in fact most of Spidey's foes probably don't.

BTW the game the other Gobby game you were referring to was an old Atari 2600 game in the seventies. It's probably one of the few really old Spidey games that are on youtube.

I disagree about Ock. He's a scientist, which is precisely why he'd want to study a "mystical" artifact. In the Marvel Universe, magic and science are one - this kind of thing is right up Ock's alley!

My idea for a villian is maybe the main villian of the game is an evil version of spiderman like Spider Carnage. That would be a twist for a villian.

Sounds like the main villain for a game, but not this one.
I still think this one should've been Ock....

Well the creators decided to side with me on this one. Besides, last I checked Ock wasn't comfirmed.
EDIT: Ock was announced, but only 2099. Not Amazing.
