“UNASSIGNED: ITALY”
CHAPTER 1: Romagna
"See, how she leans her cheek upon her hand! O that I was a glove upon that hand, that I might touch that cheek!" A young girl flips through the pages of Romeo and Juliet. She is sitting a few rows from the back inside the plane. Next to her is a man, he looks a few years older than her, he bears a five o’ clock shadow, and a hat to cover his face. He is asleep. The girl’s name is Abby. She has blonde hair, looks somewhat dyed, she has blue eyes. The man is her boyfriend, Jon. he works as a secret agent cop in New York, he was pulled into the agency at 16, the captain said he was most impressed, and amazed at the skills he had. He does it all. Spy work, police work, from petty crimes to big heists, Jon was always there to stop them. That’s not to say Abby was never worried, she was always scared when he went out on a mission, I guess that’s how most girlfriends and wives feel about that. They were headed to Italy, on a vacation for the summer; they were planning to stay two weeks, looking forward to artwork, sightseeing, and eating at the finest Italian restaurants. Abby was most excited, has her family relatives, including her deceased parents, were from Italian decent. Jon finally wakes up from his sleep; they’re only an hour or so from landing... “Are we there yet?” Jon asks. “Almost!” Abby replies. “Man, it’s going to be hard to adjust to time difference.” “You’re telling me, only I can’t sleep, I’m way too excited!” “I am too…oh, Hon., what was the name of the hotel we are staying in again?” “”Emilia Romagna.” “That’s right...I am never going to remember that name!” “My great, great, grandfather found that hotel...It will be nice to stay there.” Jon leans over and kisses her on the cheek…”I’m sure it will be.” ----Two hours later---- Jon and Abby take taxi which takes them with their luggage to Hotel Romagna. “Oh, isn’t this place beautiful!?” She looks over and Jon is looking out at the beautiful view of water, and greenery. “It’s a beautiful view isn’t it?” Abby asks. “I wonder how big that cliff is.” “What?” “Brad would easily jump that, without a doubt.” “That’s ridiculous!” “I know, and to think we used to have to dare him to do crazy stunts, he’s practically a stuntman now.” “Come on, let’s check out the room.” Jon and Abby continue on and Jon asks, “Do you think we get family discount?” Jon and Abby walk into the lobby, and Jon walks up to the desk where a lady is, “we have a reservation here.” “Name?” “Jonathan Garrett.” “Your room number is 1406, here are the keys, and elevator is to the left.” “Thank you.” Jon grabs the luggage, and the elevator door opens up, and they head upstairs. The lady at the front desk picks up the phone, and dials a few numbers, “Yeah, they’re here.” The man answers, “I’ll give them a good welcome.” Abby and Jon open the room door; there is a small sitting room straight ahead, a small kitchen to the left, and a bedroom and bathroom to the right. Abby sets the luggage down and starts screaming out of excitement! “Look at this place!” “1406…you know they don’t put a thirteen floor in a hotel…so technically, this is the thirteenth floor.” Jon says. Abby walks over and puts her arms around him, “You don’t believe in silly superstitions do you?” “Well, I did meet you at the Horseshoe restaurant…and on our first date, we saw the movie Rabbit’s foot.” “What’s your point?” “I was lucky to find you.” Abby walks into the bedroom with her luggage, Jon pulls out of his pocket a box small enough for a ring, he opens it, and inside is an engagement ring. There was a knock on the door. Jon walks over and answers it. A man in a nice costume, themed after the hotel, is standing there with a platter in his hand. “Welcome to Hotel Romagna, My name is Blake, and I’m here to assist you in any needs. Jon answers back, “Is this a restaurant?” “No, sir, but there are 7 different ones on the second floor.” Abby runs in, “7 restaurants!!! I want to try them all!” She runs back into the bedroom… “He pulls out brochures and menus from his back pocket. “This is a list of all the attractions and things to do here, and around here, on the back is the list of restaurants and even the menus and prices.” Jon’s eyes widen as he looks at the prices. “Thanks bud.” “It’s my pleasure sir, just ring the front desk if you need anything.” “Sure thing!” ----That night---- Inside a local sports bar called Nick’s Pick’s, there are many people smoking and drinking, and sitting on a chair, in a spate section, where it seemed only few were allowed was Nick. He was a little older, has brown hair, and had a cigar in his mouth. There was a lady sitting on his lap. Sitting near him, in his little section, was a man named David, also with a cigar in his mouth; “Life is sweet, isn’t it Nick?” David asks “Sure is partner, who knew we could earn so much just by pulling a few jobs.” “Ah, yes, but they wouldn’t turn out so sweet if it wasn’t for your amazing planning.” They both chuckle Nick was the leader in the local mafia, everybody knew about him, everybody knew if it was them pulling off some job. This Italian mafia wasn’t afraid to show their faces. In fact, they were proud. They were so feared of what they’ve done in the past, that not even the cops stopped them. The last time someone tried to stop Nick’s mafia, they found a head hung onto the building with a flagpole going through it, and what they did to the rest of the body, you don’t even want to know about. “So, Nick, what do you have planned for us next?” Nick is somewhat distracted by the lady sitting on him… “Our next job…well, let’s say it’s a big one.” Bartender walks over to David, “can I get you another beer?” “No, Whiskey, please.” ----Meanwhile---- Jon is in walking around the hotel, in an undershirt and sweatpants, and heads for the fridge, “you know the least they could do is put a free drink in here, I mean, 6 dollars for a can of grape soda!” Abby is in her nightgown, she walks over to him, “My granddad wanted his money’s worth.” “I guess…” He stares at her; she just got out of the shower, and smells like the bath soap. “You’re so beautiful.” She smiles at him; they both walk over to the sitting area to watch a movie.

Chapter 2: Behind the Scenes
Jon opens his eyes quickly, almost has if he had awakened from a dream. He looks out to see the sun shining through the window. He looks behind him, and Abby is still asleep, he looks at the clock and its 1:00 p.m. Jon gets off of the couch, slowly moving Abby so she wouldn’t wake up. He walks into the kitchen, and makes a pot of coffee. “I wonder what Italian coffee tastes like” After grabbing his coffee, he puts on his shoes, looks into the bedroom where Abby is still asleep on the couch. He walks out into the halls; he picks up the paper they get there, the English version. He then sees Blake walking toward him. “Good afternoon, sir.” “Please call me Jon.” “But of course, Sir…I mean Jon.” “What’s with the English accent?” “I am from Great Britain.” “Nice.” “Where are you headed?” “Just explore around the streets, get used to the surroundings.” “Does your wife want anything?” “Oh, were not married, yet, and she’s still asleep.” “Well, then I wouldn’t want to bother her.” “What’s a good place to get a breakfast around here?” “Well, there are still plenty restaurants on the second floor, but if you’re looking for simple, there is a McDonalds across the street.” “McDonalds in Italy?” “Something wrong?” “No, just not expected I guess.” They both chuckle has Jon continues on his way. He opens up the paper, and on the front page is a picture of Nick. The word “Mafia” caught his attention. He stops walking and sits down on a bench in the hallway. “Nick’s Mafia has struck again, this time at the local bank. No one, once again, tried to get in their way, however 4 people were killed in the incident, and 5 sent to the hospital. “Once Again…why would the cops not do anything about this?” He tears out the picture of Nick on the front, folds it up, and puts in into his pocket and leaves the hotel. "Abby will kill me, but I have to find out." Jon walks around the hotel spotting different bars, restaurants, and gift shops when he comes across one called Nick's Pick's sports bar He walks up to it, and looks through the windows, there were a couple guys inside drinking beer, there was a soccer game on that they were watching at the bar, to the right was a stage, what it was for, he didn't know. Maybe karaoke or a comedian came up. The sign said open from 11 am to 9 pm, and under it said reserved from 9 pm to 1 am. "Bar reserved, huh?” He takes out the picture of Nick, he studies his face. "No, I am on vacation...I can't do any work...Abby would kill me." Jon walks away from the bar "But then again, if this guy is as bad as they say, I can't let him torture Italy like that." ----Later---- Jon walks into the hotel room, with his McDonalds bag, Abby is sitting at the counter drinking coffee in her robe. "Of all the restaurants, you choose McDonalds for breakfast?" "No, lunch, they stopped serving breakfast a few hours ago." She reaches into the bag, and pulls out two big Macs. "Big Mac....for breakfast?" "What?" Jon takes a bite of his hamburger. "Listen, babe, umm, was reading the newspaper, and..." Abby interrupts, "OH, you mean that Nick guy, isn't he such a jerk, it kills me to see people like that, who would kill for anything...It sickens me." "Yeah! And you'd want those people stopped right?" "What are you saying, Jonathan?" Jon just smiles at her. "No! No...No...No!" "But, Abb, this guy is really dangerous, and I feel like it's my duty to at least check this bar out." "Bar?" "I think he reserves the bar a few blocks away, and if I could just walk in, make a few observations, I won't make any trouble, if anything, I'll be helping the Italian cops out. "Yeah, right, from what I read, nobody will stop this guy." "And nobody will unless I do something about it." "Jon, this was our vacation..." "I know...and I promise I won't do anything big, just a little recon." Abby just stares at him... "Fine..." "Great!" "But be careful, Jon, this guy is ruthless, if you get on his bad side...I can't imagine..." She starts to tear up... "Don't worry Abb, I won't." It was almost 9:00, Abby had already gone to bed, hoping to get a start on the new hours, Jon, however, wanted to check out that bar, hoping maybe that’s where Nick would be. He didn’t know, but there was only one way to find out. Jonathan closed the door behind him, when he sees in the distance, Blake; he didn’t want to get trapped in another conversation, so he went the opposite direction. Jon came out of the elevator; he wore a black leather jacket, white shirt underneath, and a pair of jeans. He was about to head out the door “Where you headed partner?” a voice comes from behind. Jon recognizes the voice when he turns around and sees Blake at the front desk, possibly ending his shift. “Uh, just going to that bar over there.” “Nick’s Picks?” Blake asks, “Wow! Hope the lady doesn’t know you’re going.” Blake winks They both laugh, Jon does sarcastically not knowing what he meant. He leaves the hotel, and looks over at the bar on the next street, people were filing in like crazy, and most of them looked like rough and tough guys, or at least drinkers. He walks toward the bar and is standing in front, although it was reserved, it seemed anyone could just walk in. He walks in the bar, and there is loud music playing, to the left there was the bar, there were tons of guys and girls just piled on each other, drunk out of their mind! And they were still asking for more. In the farther part of the bar in front of him, he could see a “private” section, he walks over and there were 5 guys or so, pretty tough looking. In front of him in a bigger chair was Nick, the leader of the mafia. Jon turns around and pulls out the picture of him he found in the newspaper, it was him. Jon walks up to him. “This is a private section, punk.” Nick says. “Oh, I’m sorry, must be the wrong bar…but you look somewhat familiar.” “Is that so? Maybe you’ve seen me in the papers…” Jon spots the gun in the holster as his jacket moves out of the way. “After all, I’m a pretty messed up man, those crimes I committed are pretty bad.” Jon is surprised “You don’t even deny it.” “Why should I? I am proud of my accomplishments; in fact, I am pulling a very big one soon, one that might include plenty of fatalities.” There was an evil in Nick’s eyes that Jon has never seen before. Jon pulls out his gun, “I could, and should….shoot you down right now.” David and three other men quickly jump out of their seats, all with bigger guns then Jon had, while Nick just stays put, not afraid at all. “So could I.” Nick says…”Throw him out!” Two of the men grab his arms and throw him out of the bar, he lands on the ground. A homeless man in the alley next to the bar starts to talk to Jon. “You are a crazy son of a gun if you think you can take down Nick.” Jon looks up and gets off the ground. “He’s just a man.” “You’re a cop, aren’t you?” “How’d you know?” “You badge flew out.” The homeless man gave it back to him. “Thanks.” “You know you’re going to die…right?” “Look mister, I don’t know who you are, but you’re not gonna stop me from doing justice, its one man, not an army.” “Yes, but the evil in this man, is nothing compared to your simple crimes that happen back in America.” The homeless man then walks back into the alley slowly. “Wait, how do you know I am not from here?” “Your License” The man slowly creeps back out, and hands it too him. “Oh…” Jon is about to walk back to his hotel. But a memory suddenly stops him “You go right, I’ll go left, and we’ll corner him!” “Gotcha!” ………… BANG! “NO, Sha…..” “COME!” Jon suddenly becomes determined. ----Later---- It’s almost midnight, Nick, David, and his three guards walk out of the bar and walk the streets, people knew who they were, and they just ran away from them. They walk about a few miles, down to a normal looking house on the normal looking block. They walk in. To the left was a bookshelf, to the right, a door to the bedroom, and straight ahead was the kitchen. However, Nick walks over and pushes a button on the side of the wall, the bookshelf opens up as a door, and behind it are weapons, tons of weapons, and also there are papers, plans, and blueprints of past heists and crimes. Nick grabs a blueprint rolled up in the secret section, which Nick then closes. He then walks into his bedroom, and open a hatch on the ground, they then walk into the underground hideout. In the basement, there is a small meeting area place, with a table, and 5 chairs, more weapons hanging on the wall, probably for safety if there were any intruders. Nick starts, “I’m sure I’ve told you all many times that we were pulling off a super big heist, right?” “Yes, Nick.” David says “Good, because by next week, we will be able to bring Europe to its knees.” Back upstairs, Jon was secretly listening to their conversation, somewhat scared of what they might have planned, when he hears what they are up to. He hears someone walking back up the stairs, Jon quickly runs out of the house, David sticks his head up the hatch, looks around, and closes it.

CHAPTER 3: Danger
It’s about midday, in Arizona, A Jeep is shown in the desert, there is not a cloud in the sky; it’s about 110 degrees out. The Jeep is parked next to a huge rock, over 300 feet high. And about half-way up, you can spot a man. This man is Brad Davis.
He is wearing no equipment, all he has hanging off of his belt is his water bottle and a cell phone with mighty good service. Brad continues to climb up the huge rock. He is sweating horribly, but he knows if he makes one slip up, he’s a goner. Finally, he gets to the point where he can’t find any place to climb up, but up higher, out of reach, he spots a place where he can grab.
He sets his feet strong and jumps up, grabbing onto the small ledge, however it starts to crack! Brad quickly sets his feet again, and uses his other hand to grab another dent in the rock. The small ledge breaks off, and falls far below.
He lets out a big yell!
“Now that is what I’m talking about! WHEW!!!”
He finally makes it to the top; he climbs up and stands on top of the big rock. He looks down below, the jeep looks like a spec on sand.
“What a rush.”
His cell phone starts to ring.
“Hello…..yeah….uh huh……okay…..yeah! I am up to it…..you got it bud!”
He ends the call.
“Now I just have to get down…”
----Meanwhile----
“Brad says he’s coming.” Jon says “I still can’t believe you’re doing this, on our vacation!” Abby says “This mob boss has big plans, and I am not going to let him accomplish it.” “But, Jon…this is our time alone.” “So we’ll stay an extra week.” “We don’t have the money for another week; I have a job back home to get to.” “And I have a job to do here.”
----The Next Day---- A helicopter flies over the city of Venice, in the backseat, Brad sits inside in a black uniform, somewhat spy like, he wears a backpack and dark sunglasses, his hair is all spiked up, and he has an earpiece in his ear.
A few minutes later, the helicopter lands on top of the hotel. He walks out, and starts strutting along the roof, into the door leading into the hotel, he salutes the pilot, and heads inside.
Brad walks down to the 14th floor, and knocks on room 1406, Jon answers the door, and Brad stands there, looking “cool”.
“Oh, Brad always tryin to be the stud.” “You know it bud.” “Too bad he ain’t.” Abby interrupts in the background. “Aw, well if it isn’t my favorite Partner’s girlfriend.” Brad says “Ignore her, she’s just upset that were doing this job.” Jon says. “This was supposed to be our time together, not another one of your assigned missions!” “It’s not….this is totally unassigned” Brad says. Abby walks into the bedroom and slams the door. “In the doghouse, now?” Brad asks. “Sort of, Heh.” Jon says “Should be good, making up is always the best part.” Jon laughs, and walks over to the sitting room, Brad follows. “Nice place you got here, Oh dude! I saw this awesome cliff on the way here; I want to jump that so bad!” “I know, that’s exactly what I told Abby.” Jon lays out the newspaper; it shows the latest story on Nick’s mafia, and pictures of Nick and David. Brad reads the story. “Dang! Someone piss this guy off?” “No….he does it for fun!” “How do you know?” “I confronted him.” “Did he fight you?” “No, he totally admitted the whole thing! And then he threw me out. I followed him to his hideout.” “Last night?” “yeah, and not only that, they’re planning a big job, and we have to find out….I see you already got your gear…way to be subtle.” “What?! This isn’t the style in Italy?” “Umm, no.” “So when are we pulling our little Recon?” “Tonight at midnight, that’s when they meet.” “Easy!” “Not really, you read the article! This could be our most dangerous job yet!” “Well, Danger is my middle name.” “And it is the weirdest middle name ever.” “And Cradles isn’t?” ….. “I stand corrected.”

CHAPTER 4: Bars, Cars, and Broken Hearts
“You know, it’s been a while since we talked.” Brad says. “Why would I want to talk to you?” Abby responds. “Well, I figured the least you could do is an e-mail.” “And what would happen if Jon ever found out about me e-mailing you.” “It would mean nothing.” “Nothing, please, are you always this stupid?” “Um.” “If he ever found out about our past, he would never forgive me.” “You still feel that way?” “Of course not, I love Jon.” “Then why are you afraid to tell him about our past?” “I…”
Jon opens up the hotel door.
“Hope you too didn’t claw each other’s throat’s out while I was gone.” Abby walks into the bathroom, gives Brad a stern look, and close the door.
“She still ticked about us leaving?” Jon asks “Yeah, a little...” Brad answers.
“Okay, the bar still is reserved tonight, 9 to 1; we should get there early, and hope to stay in there while the nut-jobs show up.” “Good idea, so what’s with this bar?” “Well, the section Nick reserved is off limits, I figure we can still get some faces, profiles, and all, and then we can head over to their hideout before they get there.” “All right, awesome!”
----Later that night----
“Abby?” There was no answer. “Abby?” Jon walks into the bedroom, Abby is lying on the bed, Jon is all geared up and ready to leave. “Abby?” “If you’re gonna go…just go.”
Jon just looked down, “I’m sorry, but I won’t let anyone else die from this killer, even if I risk the vacation.” “It’s not the vacation Jon…It’s Nick.” “What?” Abby turns her head over. “This man, he could kill you.” So could all the other men I’ve brought to justice, but I survived.” Abby turns back around. Jon closes the door, and looks to Brad. “You ready to go?” “That’s all your gonna do?” “What?” “Your just gonna walk away from her? Dude, show some caring, she just wants you alive.” “I….I….let’s just go.” Abby hears the whole conversation and starts crying into her pillow.
They walk out the door, casual, no weapons or equipment showing. Jon is wearing his leather jacket, with his non-prescription disguise glasses. And a baseball cap. Brad is wearing somewhat of the same thing, only has sunglasses, and a black t-shirt. When down the hall marches Blake.
“Oh crap.” Jon says. “What?” “It’s Blake, if anything, I’d swear this guy is stalking me.” “Well, let’s go the other way.” “Yeah, yeah, go…”
Brad and Jon take the stairs down and walk out the lobby, it’s about 8:30, “Come on, we better hurry and get to this bar.”
----Ten Minutes Later----
Brad and Jon walk into the bar. On the left, people are drinking themselves to death, as usual, In front of them, is Nick and his little gang. “This isn’t right! The bar isn’t reserved this early….Maybe there was an unknown time change, what do you think?” Two men suddenly walk up to them. “Sorry guys, but this place is reserved for Nick’s friends only. “But I thought it was a 9.” Jon says “Things change.” The guard grabs Jon and Brad’s arm/ “Wait, wait, I just had to use the restroom!” Jon says “Too bad!” He says has he throws them out of the door. “I don’t get it; he’s not supposed to have the bar yet.” Jon says “Now what?” Jon looks into the alley and sees a door heading to the back of the bar. “Now, we sneak in.” They run over and stand by the door, “Okay, Brad give me the piece.” Brad pulls out some device out of his pocket, it looks like a small black ball, he hands it to Jon, and Jon attaches it to his coat, near his chest. “Okay, let’s go.” Brad opens the door, and peeks through; it leads to the bartender’s section. Their kneeling down to be unseen by the men at the bar, who are so drunk they may not notice anyway. The bartender walks by them and they hug the wall, not being seen, Jon peeks around the corner, he is serving drinks.
Jon gives him the signal and Brad quickly runs over to the far side of the bar, where he can see the stage and private section set aside by Nick, but not by the bartender, unless he left the bar area.
Jon continues to watch, he then quickly rolls over to where Brad was. They see the bathroom on the nearby hall, and stand up and casually walk there.
“Okay let’s take some pics and get out of here.”
Jon nods.
He walks over in front of Nick’s little section.
“Excuse me, are you Nick?”
He faces Nick, Nick looks up, and stares at his face. He didn’t recognize him with the hat, and glasses.
“What’s it to you?”
Brad was on the other side of the hall, pressing a small button in his hand, the little ball on Jon’s jacket was a miniature camera, snapping pics of everyone in his private section.
“Oh, I was just wondering why the bar was yours earlier.” “Me and the manager simply agreed to a newer time.” “May I speak with him?” “Sure, he’s buried down in the graveyard 30 minutes north from here.”
Brad, listening behind the wall, gulped.
“Oh, okay….well, goodbye then.”
Jon walks off, over to the wall, “Did you get the pics?” “Yeah, let’s go.” They casually walk toward the front door. Nick watches them both walk on their way. He snaps his fingers, and David stands up from his seat. “Yes sir?” “See those two men?” “Yeah.” “Watch them.” “Why sir?” “Just do it.” David looks over and points to two men, and tells them to follow him with hand signals. Brad and Jon call a taxi, and tell him to drive them to the location, David and his two guards watch them drive off, they call another taxi, and David walks over to the driver seat, opens the door, and pulls the driver out of his seat. “Hey what the…” David pulls out a gun, and points it at him. “Never mind.” David gets in the car, the two men get in the backseat, and they secretly follow Jon and Brad’s taxi.
----A few miles down the road----
Jon and Brad get out of the taxi, and pay the man the fee, they wait for the cab driver to drive off, and then they walk into the alley next to the house which they are using for a hideout. David drives around the corner to not see the cab or the two men.
He parks the car a few blocks away, and David and his two guards get out and walk toward the hideout.
Jon and Brad however sneak through a window leading into the bedroom.
“This is a great hideout…looks like a normal Italian house.” Brad says. “Just watch” He kneels down to the floor and pulls up the hatch, revealing stairs to the basement. “Oh!” They walk down the stairs, on the right; there are weapons all over the wall on the right, everything from shotguns to sub-machine guns.
In the middle of the room is a big table, probably used for meeting places; there are chairs all around the table, and on the table are papers of maps, lists, and plans. Jon picks up the papers, while Brad is looking at the weapons. He grabs an assault rifle, and adds it to his inventory of weapons.
Jon reads off the plans, “Look at this Brad, this is not a heist in Italy.” “Then where?” “It’s in Germany.” “What? Why?” “Look at this; they have an entire map of some kind of underground cave…” “Look at all these pictures also.” Jon sees pictures of Hitler, the Nazis, and swastikas. “What are they doing with Hitler?” Brad asks Jon continues to look at the plans. “It says here that there are rumors that Hitler had a secret underground facility, apparently located under his grave.” “So the mob is becoming grave robbers?” “Well, it says the factory was developed by Hitler during the War…and…” “…..and?” “He found a way to make normal weapons into Nuclear weapons.” “Whoa…” “It says the blast of a single pistol could destroy a whole block.” “How did they not die then?” “It says he constructed his men to create nuclear radiation protective suite, or it also says called NRP’s.” “Wait, if they had these weapons, how did they lose the war?” “After Hitler was defeated, he went back to Germany to use them, but died before he got the chance.” “Okay, Nick is going to Germany to gather the nuclear weapons to cause chaos, carnage, and to pretty much rule all of Europe.” “You could look at it that way, we should get back to the hotel before Nick and his merry men show up.” Jon and Brad open the hatch only to find David and his two guards starring at him, and pointing their loaded weapons at them
“Ciao men, Kill them.”

Chapter 5: Memories
“You do realize how dangerous this guy is, right?” Jon says “This man killed my brother; I’ll do anything to bring him to justice.”
It’s about 3 years ago, in an underground base in Tokyo; Standing behind a big pillar is a younger Jon and another young man. He had green eyes, messy brown hair, and two grenade launchers in his hand. His name was Shawn. He has been working with Jon since he was 17. Three years he has worked with Jon.
Both were bruised, bleeding, and dirty. They looked like they were in a war, and they kind of were. Both of them were after the Japanese murderer Hisho Rimiocahn. This man has killed so many people in Tokyo; he made the bombing on Hiroshima look nothing.
Jon and Shawn entered his premise, took down all his guards, and now have Hisho on the run, He was bald, at tattoos all over his body, he was shirtless, his pants were baggy, and he carried one pistol and a few grenades with him.
Brad tosses a smoke a grenade on the ground, smoking the house. Brad quickly runs up, and tackles David to the ground, but neither can see. Brad lands punch after punch on David’s face. The smoke finally clears up, Brad is on top of David, his face bleeding and bruised and knocked out.
Brad looks behind him, the two guards disoriented; Jon is still on the staircase, staring down to the ground almost has if he is paralyzed. Brad quickly pulls out his assault rifle and shoots both the guards to the ground. He gets up from the ground and runs over to Jon. “Jon!” He doesn’t get an answer. “JON!” “What?! Whoa!” “You okay?” “Yeah, life flashing before my eyes, I guess.”
Bullets suddenly fly into the bedroom; Brad hits the floor, looks around the room, spotting another door, leading back into the kitchen the other way around.
“Jon, I have an idea, you take that door, and I’ll take this one, we’ll corner them and take them down…got it?” “Huh?” “Are you afraid of fights or something?” …… “I go right, you go left! Now get off your @** and help me shoot these guys down!!”
I’ll go right; you go left….I’ll go right, you’ll go left….. “Okay, you go right, and I’ll go left, we’ll corner him, and take him down for good.” Shawn says “You got it bud….Go!”
Shawn runs around the pillar behind some boxes and Jon does the same on the right. Hisho is in the middle of the room, he’s got a pistol, with only a small amount of ammo left.
Hisho takes one smoke grenade, and throws it on the ground, sending smoke throughout the area, He runs over and kicks Jon in the face, and then punches him in the gut. He pins him to the wall, Jon kicks off of him, Shawn runs over to help, but Jon kicks Hisho into Shawn, and not knowing Shawn was behind him, Jon shot almost point blank at Hisho in the stomach area.
Hisho falls to the ground. “Shawn, I got him.” He didn’t get an answer. “Shawn?” The smoke finally cleans up. The feeling of a successful mission suddenly turned into a sick feeling has Shawn is on the floor bleeding to death. Agents rush in the room, securing the area. Jon picks up Shawn, who is conscious, and carries him toward the exit. Hisho was dying, but wasn’t dead, he picked up is last two grenades, and threw them at the exit. They blew up the walls, knocked Jon back, and sent Shawn’s body flying into the boxes on the left wall.
The fire was quickly spreading the agents quickly ran out of the room, some were injured, but made it through. The fire soon covered the exit. “Jon! Come on, let’s go!” one of the agents called. “But, Shawn!” “There’s no time, this place is going to collapse!” Jon looked over at Shawn who was laying there, helpless. Jon ran over to the exit, jumped over the fire, and the roof collapsed. Has a big piece of the roof fell on Hisho, his evil laugh could be heard, and soon the whole place was destroyed along with Shawn and Hisho.
“JON!!!” Jon quickly comes to his senses, I have a better idea. Brad hugs the wall, shooting around the corner when clear. “Oh, so you are alive!” “Hold them off!” “What?!” Jon heads back into the basement. Out of the other door, a guard comes in, Brad quickly notices and pulls out a pistol from his jacket, and shoots him in the head. Jon comes back up with a big rocket launcher. “A bazooka?” “Yes, now get out of the way!” Jon runs over by the doorway, and shoots the rocket into the living room, blowing the place up in flames. Jon hugs the hall way, he peeks around the corner to spot three men dead and on fire, on the floor. Jon and Brad run out the front door, as the flames consume the place.
----Later that Night----
The firefighters have taken control of the fire, and have left, but Nick has arrived. “This is most frustrating.” Nick walks on the ashes of his house. He looks at the dead bodies. David and the two men he sent are all burnt up. Faces deformed from the fire. “I must say, I am excited that someone has actually had the guts to face me…too bad it will mean the end of their lives.
Jon and Brad are in the hallway of the hotel, on the fourteenth floor. “I must say, Jon, I really loved that tactic you used there.” “Heh, yeah.” “You okay man? You’ve been out of it since the fight.” “I just need some sleep.” He says that has he opens the door. “Then you can sleep on the couch” Abby throws a pillow right at Jon’s chest and it falls to the floor. She doesn’t even notice the ashes on their face. She walks into her bedroom and slams the door. “Wait, I thought I was sleeping on the couch.” Brad says. “Hon? That’s where Brad sleeps.” “Deal with it!” Brad and Jon look at each other
----Moments later----
“Goodnight Jon.” “……….Goodnight….Brad.”
Jon and Brad have two blankets on the couch, both of them lying in opposite directions.
“….Hey Jon?” “….Yes Brad?” “You don’t think this looks gay do you?” Jon doesn’t answer

Chapter 6: Germany
“So how did Abby take it?” “You’re kidding me, right?” “Bad huh?” “I think she actually wants to kill me…She just doesn’t understand that this is what I have to do.” “I’m sorry dude, this has to be a horrible situation for you, I mean, it’s hundreds of people, or your relationship.” “It’s an easy choice though.” “Really?” “A relationship can be revived…lives can’t.” Brad and Jon both sit inside of a helicopter, on the way to Germany, hoping to get to Hitler’s tomb before Nick’s mob. “So, how do you plan on finding this tomb?” “I’ll ask around and see what some say.” “Good plan.” Brad says sarcastically. The helicopter lands in a small field, away from civilization. Brad and Jon, both in their “spy suits” and a jacket to cover it all, jump out of the copter, and head toward the city of Berlin.
“What a nice little town this is.” “Huh, not if you were here 60 years ago.” “60?” “Give or take.”
Brad and Jon walk into one of the pawn shops. “Excuse me, miss?” An older lady at the counter looks up. “Do you speak English?” “Guten Tag!” “Is that a no?” “No, but I love German language.” The lady wore nice clothing, she obviously made it herself; she also had an easily identified German accent. “I’m Mary, now what can I do for you two nice young men?” “Hi, Mary…Well, you see were new here, and wanted to do some sight-seeing.” “Have you visited the site of where the Berlin Wall was?” “Not yet, Miss. Anyway…” “Oh, you should, it’s a wonderful place…” “I’m sure it is…” “It brings back memories of when I was a kid.” “Oh yes, anyway…” “My brother was in World War II…” “That’s very nice, miss, anyway, I was wondering where Hitler was buried.” “Adolf Hitler?” “There’s more than one Hitler?” Brad says quietly. “Yes Mam.” “Well, I heard he was burned, not buried…” “Did he have any kind of grave stone at all?” “I don’t know…I try hard not to think of that man.” “Okay, well, Thanks for your time.” “Anytime, enjoy your visit here.” “Thank you.”
Jon and Brad leave the store.
“What a nice lady.” Brad says. “Yeah, it got us no where!” “She said he was burned” “Then how is Nick looking for a gravestone?” “Do people put ashes inside a grave?” “I don’t know.” “Have you ever been to a funeral, Jon?” “Yeah…my grandmother’s.” “Oh, I’m so sorry.” “I know I remember when I was little and….THIS IS GETTING US NOWHERE!” “Come on, let’s ask someone else then.”
Jon and Brad head toward another shop down the street, while unknowingly, are being followed. They are about to enter the store when…
“So, you want to know about Hitler, eh?” “Um, yeah…who are you?” “Follow me.”
Jon and Brad look at each other, and decide to follow him.
He was an old man, looked like he could’ve been over 100 years old…he had old ragged clothing, he was dirty, he smelled had a cane, and he was leading them to an old house, which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for years.
“Please take a seat.” Brad and Jon sit down at the table; there are 4 chairs around it. “Would you like some hot tea?” “No thank you.” The old man pours a cup for himself, and takes a seat across from Jon and Brad. “Um, I don’t mean to be rude, but why are we here?” Jon asks. “I hear you want to know about Hitler.” “How do you know…?” “You see, I was a German soldier.” He takes a sip of his tea. “And was one of the few to know about his secrets.” “You mean is underground weapons development?” “I see you know some things too.” “Others do too…bad others.” “Well, do you know where it is located?” “Sadly…” The old man coughs, and takes another sip “Sadly, I do not. Hitler never told me the location.” “I heard it was under where he was buried.” “Hitler was not buried, he was burned.” “Back to square one.” Brad interrupts. “He had to have been buried, that’s exactly what Nick’s plans said…” “Maybe Nick doesn’t have his coordinates correct either.” Brad says. “Do you know the location of where he was burned, or at least where the ceremony took place?” “Magdeburg, Germany.” the old man answers
----Meanwhile----
Located somewhere over Germany, two helicopters fly toward the city of Magdeburg. Each helicopter carries five men. In one helicopter, there is one pilot, and four men prepared for battle. In the other copter, there is Nick, a man in all black, a pilot, and 2 archeologists, Sam Harrison and Henry Taylor.
Nick gets out of his seat and walks over to Sam and Henry. “Are you sure this is the correct location?” “I’ll bet my life on it.” Sam says. “You pretty much did by helping me.” Nick says.
The copters soon reach the town of Magdeburg, and fly over a church, behind it is a graveyard. “Is that where Hitler is buried?” Nick asks. “Sort of…that’s our location.” “Sort of? Whatever, land over behind the trees.”
----Meanwhile----
Jon and Brad sit inside the church talking to the preacher there. “Is this the graveyard where Adolf Hitler was buried?” Jon asks. “Yes it was, but Hitler is no longer here.” “Oh come on!!!” Brad says. “Mind telling us what happened to him?” “Well, you see, after Hitler committed suicide, he was buried in a secret location, the Russians soon discovered him, and had him buried here. After a while, he was dug up again, and then burned…his ashes were scattered over the land.” Jon and Brad here the pair of helicopters, they run outside, and look up. “Nick…” The helicopters land behind the trees; Jon and Brad head to the back of the church, and look out one of the windows, as does the preacher
Nick, Sam, and Henry are soon seen walking out of the tree area, and toward the graveyard. Followed by five men, with guns…big guns…and grenades…they were heavy loaded, okay?
Nick, Sam, and Henry walk to one of the tombstones. It says on it, “Here lays Hitler, Great leader of the German army.” Sam kneels down, and looks at the grave. He feels around it, almost as if he’s looking for a switch. “Yeah, this is it.” “How do you know?” Nick asks. Sam continues to feel around, and pushes a button, suddenly, the grass rises. Dirt falls from the door that opens from the ground. The door is about casket length, and as it rises from the ground, stairs are seen below. Brad turns around to face the preacher, who is stunned. “What? Don’t tell me you never knew or even had a thought that maybe, just maybe, there was a secret underground weapons facility right under the graveyard where Adolf Hitler was once buried.” Jon lets out a chuckle, and then heads outside.
