An awesome episode. The Leader was cold and calculating and we got the appearance of the U Foes. Lastly, Abomination spoke. Next week, Masters of Evil!!!! ![:-*](http://www.606studios.com/bendisboard/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)

This episode makes me think they should stick with the Justice League formula. I.E, two episodes for a story.

I miss that format. it just gave so much time for plot development. I hope Young Justice's episodes are the same with the 2 parts per, but i doubt it will be.

BEST EP YET!!! No doubt! And by the way, neither series is gonna take that format, especially Young Justice. (Greg Weisman confirmed that the pilot is the only two-parter in season one.) But yeah, everything was just so great here. Leader makes an awesome villain. This makes me wanna go back and finally watch the '90s Hulk series. (Hey, isn't Hulk getting his own series sometime soon? I think I read that somewhere....) By the way, my prediction: Black Widow is going to be a good guy after all. She's spying on HYDRA, or something like that. I do not believe she's actually evil. And the Masters of Evil thus so far.... Enchantress, Executioner, Zemo, Wonder Man, Abomination, and apparently Crimson Dynamo joined at some point. When did that happen?

I do agree on this episode probably being the best so far. And I have no idea when they recruited Crimson Dynamo. They probably did it off screen, hopefully they explain next week.

I'll have to give this show a chance. I know that Disney XD shows it over here and while it's a long time since I last read an Avengers comic, I'm sure I'd like this series.

FINALLY got a chance to watch this ep the other day. really, really, really good. probably the best one that I've seen yet. loved the Leader, and his plan was very cool. I think hawkeye and Hulk really sold this episode for me though. Hawkeye is freakin awesome in this show, just a dead on perfect version of the character. Even better though is this version of the Hulk, I'd go so far as to say that it's the best version of the character ever. Seamlessly switching back and forth between Bruce and the Hulk, the humor (like this exchange. Leader: "I was going to remake the world in my image!" Hulk: "that's the problem. You're UGLY!"), everything just great. generally the Hulk is a boring green dude who smashes things, or a boring human who broods alot. in this show he's neither, and i think this episode was a great feature for both of the characters, and their interaction was pitch perfect as well.

Finally catching up.
Cool two parter, I liked that Hawkeye and Hulk have this weird Buddy Cop relationship!

By the way, my prediction: Black Widow is going to be a good guy after all. She's spying on HYDRA, or something like that. I do not believe she's actually evil. Yeah, that's been my stance since I saw "Hulk vs. the World". It's obviously what they're going for. I saw this two-parter earlier this week. Part 1 was good, but part 2 was great! Jeffrey Combs was perfect as the Leader and Hawkeye was awesome - I definitely like him more than his DC counterpart, Green Arrow. That could be bias from the 90s Iron Man cartoon talking... but I doubt it. Of course, it helped that there were so many great moments - I did not see the Leader's ploy to have Absorbing Man take on Mjolnir's power coming, and I loved the banter (Hawkeye saying, "His name is Bruce Banner. Maybe you've heard of him?" only for Leader to retort that he had, and proceed to show off the giant robot prepared for just such an occasion!). The dialogue was better all round ("Too bad you're a lousy shot, cucumber head!" and "That's the problem... You're ugly"). Character interaction was great too, from Hawkeye's confrontations with the Black Widow to Leader explaining why he felt he must rule to Thor. I appreciated Thor's big role because he and Hawkeye are pretty much my favourite Avengers right now. I hope Jane Foster returns soon because Thor should continue to play a big part in events, especially if Loki really is masterminding Enchantress's team. Part 2 was just great. Part 1... not so much because the 'test run' seemed a but redundant. (Still, the transformations in both episodes were quite brutal and the savagery of the gamma monsters helped keep things intense.) Why didn't the Leader just get his actual plan over with? Was the initial dome meant to take out the Avengers, leaving no-one to stand in the way of the second one? I've heard that there's a skrull/kree storyline coming up, so I must wonder if the second gamma generator (the one thrown into space by Hulk at the end) will be used by said aliens in the future... I wonder if Nick Fury's absence (except for his cameo in part 2) as noted by Iron Man means something. Maybe it's got something to do with the Black Widow. We never did find out why he sent for her in the first episode. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it. Question: why is it that people moaned and complained when Gorilla Grodd tried to turn everyone into apes in JLU but everyone is happy with the Leader's plan here? ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Answer: Because Grodd turning people into apes is lame and cheesy, and he had up until then been a pretty cool villain. Leader, on the other, is SUPPOSED to be lame and cheesy, plus monsters aren't quite as lame as apes!

Leader, on the other, is SUPPOSED to be lame and cheesy, plus monsters aren't quite as lame as apes! I was semi-joking, but I just wanted to point out the irony. Obviously the thought of people turning into apes is just silly, while the thought of people turning into monsters is freaky. Looking forward to seeing more episodes soon. Disney XD (in the UK) is showing "459" and the Kang trilogy over the course of this weekend and next. I want to watch the episodes in order though, so I'll wait for "Masters of Evil" to be repeated and then go from there.
