I bet you all never thought this was coming did you?
Yeah, I figure I'll pop in and update every once in a while. Nothing to exciting recently but I think I'll give an update on what I was up to this month. I had myself a major "Spideython" recently. It all started with my LCS (Local Comic Shop) where I was buying the latest issue of Amazing Spider-Man (650). Suddenly, the cashier, whom I've known for a long time, gives me some bad news. My LCS (Cosmic Comics) is closing down by the end of the month/year.
This was prety much how I felt after the news
. Since they want to get rid of as much supplies as they can, they are having a sale. A huge sale in fact. 50% off new issues and graphic novels, 80% off all back issues under the bin, 60% all toys, statues, and busts, etc. So taking advantage of the sale I got.....
Spider-Man: Tangled Web volumes 1-4 (aka, the whole serise ;D)

It's pretty much a series that doesn't go through Spidey's perspective, but rather through his supporting cast and villains (examples, JJJ, Rhino, Tombstone, a lieutenant for the Kingpin etc.). Though Spidey's in it plenty.
I also got Kraven's Last Hunt (I'm pretty sure everyone's heard of this) :

Son of The Goblin (Pretty much has every story with Harry in the mantle of the Goblin, including the classic Spectacular Spider-Man issue 200, Best of Enemies.:

Spider-Man: The Real Clone Saga (A six issue miniseries by Tom Defalco and Howard Mackie, two writers behind THE Clone Saga, and how they tell the story they wanted to tell when the Clone Saga came out without it being stretched out for those couple of years):

That's pretty much it. I might get the Ultimates 1 and 2, i'm staying away from 3 , but for now I'll make do with what I have. On one last note though. If anyone is in Manhattan, you might want to visit Cosmic Comics before it closes here's there site:
