so i thought this episode was really great. the tension between superboy and superman is great and believable, and it helped make superboy's actions believable. still think Robin is really funny, and his joke of removing parts of words (tonight the opposite of disaster being aster) is still funny, though i hope they don't run it into the ground where it's no longer funny. The fight with amazo was really cool, but my one complaint is that he had to keep saying the name of whose powers he was imitating, cause that got annoying fast. the Black Canary stuff worked well, and overall it was just a great episode. hoping to finally see Artemis next week.

Good enough episode, Drop Zone was better. I hope Superboy starts to become nicer, cos I understand his attitude toward Superman, but he's being a dick to everyone else and it's becoming graining. I wish they'd kept the arc format that TSSM had, that worked really well and I miss it a lot. This show seem constantly seems like a cross between of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Batman and TSSM. That's not always a good thing, I love TSSM. TMNT could be good, but it depended one the individual episode and The Batman never really grabbed me. I'm not loving all the cast, maybe they need more time. But I feel like some characters aren't really filling out the screen like some others ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) Even though the plot was a little mined, this was probably the second best ep. I've had to come to terms that this show will never even come close to the awesomeness of TSSM, which kinda bums me out, but whatever.

I wish they'd kept the arc format that TSSM had, that worked really well and I miss it a lot. To be honest, I'm glad that the arc format was done away with. I'm sure there were plenty of constraints that came with the pressure of making every 3-4 episodes interconnected. Besides, the show is still serialised (and it seems to be the case that every 4 episodes takes place over the course of a month, with timestamps and everything!) so they'll squeeze the same amount of depth out of these characters that we got out of the TSSM characters eventually. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Remember, this is very much a DC universe show. I think Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti said that the other month. It's not like TSSM, which followed only the events that had an important impact on Spider-Man and 'the education of Peter Parker'. This show is bigger in scope and I think that once more episodes are in the can, this will be a truly great show. I'm just happy to see a show that acts as a cross between JL/JLU and Teen Titans (which were among the 3 best superhero cartoons, I feel). Young Justice seems to be the polar opposite of Batman: The Brave and the Bold: Brave and the Bold has a JLU style format but tends to give off a wacky, almost Teen Titans-style vibe. This show is like Teen Titans, but with a JL/JLU vibe and the presence of said team, to boot.

Great episode. My only complaint is how painfully obivious it is that the arrow didn't belong to Speedy, but the female Speedy from the opening credits.

I loved this episode, I just watched it last night is why its late. I loved this episode (I missed the 1st 5 minutes so I'll just review the parts I saw) We got to see superboy act like a dick, again. I love that he's the bad boy, but why must he be a jerk! I loved robin. I actually laughed at Kid Flash and Miss Martian. I was happy to see Amazo! He is an awesome character and his use of the powers was great! But, yes it did get annoying say the names. When Superboy was fighting him, it was funny to watch him get beat.
This show is getting better I must add. I just hate that Aqua lad is being... undershown. And I REALLY hope the arrow came from Artemis (Thats her name paycheck). But, I hope shes not the one comming half way through the season. I have no clue why they'd have her in the opening credits if it was her. Did anyone else catch Superboy saying "Whelmed" Like in the first episode lol. And I was happy to see Supermans reaction to Conner. And we got to see the famous Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent. Great episode! 10/10

Finally saw it! I don't know about you, but this was my favorite yet! Maybe it's just 'cause I'm loving Superboy so much - he seems like the most interesting, complex of the team at this stage in the game, and I'm sure that he's going to continue to shape and develop. Like I said, he's this team's Wolverine. Yes, the arrow was Artemis'. I'm pretty sure Greg said she comes in episode six, so that's this week's ep. Amazo was awesome, and I actually liked him saying the names of the Leaguers - it was strangely cool, in this hard-to-explain existential way. Kid Flash is actually starting to annoy me, though. It was one thing to hit on Martian, but now he's hitting on Black Canary? That's just wrong in so many ways.... I just wish they'd flesh him out more - Wally was better in JLU. Speaking of Black Canary, her voice sounds familiar. Is that.... MJ, maybe....? And yes, I caught the "whelmed." ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Kid Flash is actually starting to annoy me, though. It was one thing to hit on Martian, but now he's hitting on Black Canary? That's just wrong in so many ways.... I just wish they'd flesh him out more - Wally was better in JLU. To be fair though, he was a womaniser in JL/JLU as well. It seems only natural for his teenage counterpart to have a one track mind. I agree that the character is gonna need fleshing out though, but I suspect it won't happen until any of the big, game-changing events that are inevitable. Like Artemis's arrival in the next episode - it'll be interesting to see how he reacts to that since the synopsis suggests that she isn't welcomed with open arms.

Great episode. I agree with Spideyfan about the Amazo uttering the powers of the leaguers, since it didn't bother me either. Good Superboy stuff as well.
